Anthony/Tony is still in search of Alex. He’ll undergo the toughest tests to find him, whatever they do to him during this training, he will be strong, strong for Alex.

Little does he know, how strong can you be.
Dominic is shredding him to obeying pieces, it seems he’s on his way to succeed.

Tony’s body is daily caged by devices, used, humiliated, and tortured, he is reaching his limits
It’s all one big mind-fuck, under the disguise of giving safe words.

Every page Tony, but certainly I felt conflicted with what happened, I wanted to shake Tony, let him use his safe word, send him home, yell at him, and scream he wasn’t there for the right reasons and he would destroy himself.
But what do I know, I know nothing! I had some questions while reading but can’t voice them, yet, I have to wait for what book three will bring.

Amazing story, super intense, captivating, and uncomfortable at times, what a ride, the best part was that I just didn’t know what to believe and I didn’t know what came next..

Continue search from book 1 which is a must-read. This very dark and heavy read but draws you in with our characters. The training is now getting mixed feelings. Will tony find that space looking for or is it not true? Cant wait until the next book. do note huge triggers for some but this off chart book

The continuation of the story that began with Indoctrination is a masterpiece of enveloping darkness, definitely more intense and truly mind-bending. My personal take is that Tony and Alex's story isn't a classic romance; it's not a romance at all, but a story of unhealthy obsession that is turning from dangerous to deadly. Watching Tony's struggles and adaptation as a part of the hidden society Alex was born into, was painful and heartbreaking. Because being kinky and craving the flavour of mild submission in the bedroom, was definitely something entirely different than the cruel, harsh reality Tony landed into and something he didn't have the strength to withstand and wield for his own gain. I admired his ferocious efforts and tenacity to prove himself as a submissive, I really do - but his efforts were actually a wide open window to the terrified boy,hidden inside him, so terrified of being discarded as useless and not enough, so naive and gullible, that Dominic was playing with him as a fine tuned instrument. A reality where human compassion is a foreign concept and every act of kindness or selfless sacrifice are just a way to dig yourself deeper and suffer more. Dominic's paranoid strive to assert his absolute dominance in the internal games and power dynamics between all the masters, Doms and owners was tearing Alex and Tony apart.
The author has built an impressive and really terrifying maze of psychological twists that leave the reader hovering over the abyss of heart-stopping HFN with the foreboding feeling of something even worse to come.

Tony continues to question everything happening to him as he struggles with his submission to Master Dominic. He still has hope that his boyfriend Alex will become his trainer but Dominic has other plans as he pushes Tony's limits with more and more mind games and kinks in order to own his body and mind. It's best to read this series in order for maximum benefit. Who will prevail in this total mindf**k. I highly recommend this series and the third book is out now.

I loved the first book Indoctrination and was eagerly awaiting Alexander and was not disappointed. Do read Indoctrination first as this book is not a standalone. An enemies to lovers storyline that continues where book one ended giving us a page turning read that will hook you in from the beginning. With so much emotion and angst from each character I couldn't put it down and the ending left me desperately waiting for the next book Deception

Alexander by Medusa Stone is book two in The Underground Series. This book is not a standalone and you must read the first one before this. This is a male/male dark romance story that contains one of my all time favorite tropes which is enemies to lovers. It also has a splash of mafia and bdsm. So needless to say please check your trigger warnings to be on the safe side. After reading book one, Indoctrination I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. Oh my gosh was I not prepared for the suspense! One thing is for sure this is one heck of a page turner, this book captured my attention right from the beginning. Plus it also picks up where book one ended so I was excited to continue the story of Tony working towards his goal of being with Alex. There is plenty of heart shattering moments reading what the submissives are going through at the hands of the dominants. Again this story is dark so please check the content warnings. This story is written so well and you can feel the emotions of the different characters. This book does end in a cliffhanger and it has me anxiously awaiting book three. What an amazing read!

This is the second book in the Underground series and it is not a standalone. This book is full of triggers so definitely read the warnings. This is a bit of a hard read, but so worth it.

Alexander follows on from the cliffhanger in Book One, Indoctrination. Tony continues his training and learns more about Alex and his family. He still strives to be Alex's one day, but he is still under Dominic's rule. Dominic appears to have Tony's best interests at heart, but does he? Tony is pleased when he gets a visit from Alex one night and makes all his suffering worthwhile for this fleeting moment. He strives to continue his training for the end goal of being with Alex one day, making it all worthwhile.
I received an arc for my honest voluntary review for NN Book Blog. If you love a steamy BDSM sub-training read, you will enjoy this book. Medusa keeps you turning the pages once again to see if Tony will get his HEA. This book does end on a cliffhanger, and I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next. There may be some triggers for some people; therefore, heed the author's warnings.

This series!!! It’s so hard but so good. The writing is just top tier. It’s so hard to wait for the next book. Check triggers because this is heavy in subject and acts.

Alexander is the second book in the Underground series. This book is not a standalone as it continues from the cliffhanger at the end of book one. This is a dark BDSM story so please read the trigger warnings. Tony continues his training while fighting to stay himself. We learn more about Alex. I love dark stories and Medusa Stone does them so well. I really enjoyed this book. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

This storyline is definitely a different take on the BDSM theme. Some will definitely find it difficult to stomach in places. Harsh training a lot of the time but you should have gathered that if you have read the trigger warnings. The blurb in each book certainly hooks you and tbh it surprises me in how detailed it was. Having said that though they were one of the reasons for continuing to read the series. The main reason to keep reading is in fact the brilliant storytelling. This is the first series I have read that has had me desperate for the next book. Normally I would have waited for the last book to have been written. As I hate waiting. Medusa was a new author to me and I saw this series. I aimed to just read the first few chapters of book 1 ha! I couldn’t put it down. Definitely a must read series. I was literally in the same space as the characters.

This is another dark and delicious part of Tony and Alex’s story. Tony is fighting through the entire thing to not lose himself, to not fall for Dominic’s manipulations. Unfortunately, Stockholm is gripping him hard and he is confused. He learns a lot about Alex and his reasons for what went down. During this part of the series we see more degradation and abuse of the submissive members. It is heartbreaking to watch what these “Doms” do to the subs. There’s so much abuse in the name of BDSM. This story is dark, sensual and terrifying. I can’t wait to see what happens next. It ends on a pretty big cliffhanger that leaves me craving the next part. The writing is well done. The characters are endearing, some more so than others. And other characters you can’t wait for them to get what is coming to them, right up their behinds dry.
