Releasing the Songbird
Forge just became a member of the Dark Slayers MC and his first job is mix in with the mob and see who is trying to kill the club’s ally. Bella has no one but her sick grandma so when offered a job offer to sing in a club, she jumps at it. Little did she know it was mob run and once she entered the club she was there to stay. Bella had no idea her well being and life was on the line.
Forge was Bella’s rescuer and brought her back to the MC and a bond was formed. They had a great connection and this book was filled with steam, suspense and drama. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for our men from the Dark Slayers MC.

A well written story with wonderful characters which is a page turner it has everything in it from suspense to action as well as a steamy romance which ended up as a happily ever after.
A story about a singer who was just trying to get a job to support he grandmother who was in a nursing home but wound up signing her life away to a couple of friends who was in the mafia, one wanted her to sing in their club and the other wanted to rape her.
It was a year and a half before a biker took her away from her captures. The biker had disguised himself as a mafia man so he could follow the three mafia brothers that the biker’s motorcycle club had an alliance with. The reason for the biker being there was that the three mafia brothers have been having problems since they had the mafia don killed, they have had car bombs at least two since the mafia don has been dead.
The biker was just recently patched into the motorcycle club when the club president had him go on the mission. The club had a security business so he got some equipment to take with him as well as weapons and he went to get a rented SUV like the other mafia men had. The club president told him that anything he needed that the three mafia brothers would reimburse him for so he got a hotel room in a fancy hotel and he was having him pay for his meals and drinks as well.
He watched and waited for two months until he bugged a table of the owner of a night club the three brothers attended regularly. He even had a run in with their father who made the biker feel sorry for the three brothers as well as their sisters. It only took one night before he found out that they were involved. The biker even found out about the singer at the club as well so once he found out he told the brothers to get out of the night club and he also grabbed the singer. The biker got ahold of the club president telling him what was going on before he got the brothers what he heard and took the singer to a cabin that the club owned to hide out at. They stayed there for a long time until the three mafia brothers with the club found them. The son of one of the men was let you, he was the manager of the night club and was always nice to the singer.
Before the biker gets the singer away from her captures her grandmother died in the nursing home. She hardly got to see her even though she was promised that she would be able to.
The singer and the biker have been having sex since he got her out of the mafia men's clutches. The singer wound up going with him to the clubhouse where she started making friends. The singer while at the cabin was seeing a therapist talking about everything she has been through even the loss of her grandmother. The singer stayed with the biker, they were close to one another, getting more intimate with each other. They were getting to know one another better.
She went shopping with an actress who was married to one of the bikers. A prospect was following them around while they were shopping for some clothes for the singer. They were about to go into a restaurant when the prospect saw some mafia men walking out. The two women got into the car speeding off and the prospect got on his bike going after them. The prospect wound up behind the mafia men’s SUV but had an accident and crashed. The singer got ahold of her biker telling him everything but she lost contact with him so she decided she couldn’t let anything happen to the actress so she jumped out of the car.
The singer was picked up by the mafia men and one of the men was the three mafia brother’s father. Come to find out that the mafia men who she worked for before had put a life insurance policy out on her when she started work for them. The son who was the manager is the one who will get the money if she dies. One of the two mafia men who owned the night club had a thing about doing life insurance policies on people, scamming the insurance companies.
The brother’s father took her to a lake house and put her in the basement cuffed to a chain hooked to the wall. He left her food and water, he also made sure that she could get to the sink and the toilet. He had a sleeping bag, pillow and blanket on the floor. When she jumped out of the car she hurt herself, the mother of the three brothers tried to clean her up before the father took her to the basement but she didn’t clean her up very well. The singer was there for a while.
The bikers went to the hotel that they found the two mafia men at but they had little to go with after they left so the biker decided to go to the nightclub where they found the manger. The bikers had the manager get ahold of the three mafia brothers to get them to the nightclub. The brothers get there and find out what's going on. They get the manager to start talking and find out about the singer and the policy on her.
They all go to the lake house and while the brothers tend to their father the bikers go looking for the singer. The biker finds her in the basement but soon after the father is there. The biker tasers him and cuffs him before kicking him a couple of times. The two tell each other that they love one another.
After the singer is better the biker takes her on a weekend getaway. The first go to her grandmother's final resting place before going to a nice hotel and then they go to a fancy restaurant where while they eat and talk he pulls out a ring box. The biker asks her to marry him and she tells him yes.
Three months later the clubhouse is all decked out for a wedding and the singer is in a suite waiting. The singer is pregnant with the biker’s baby. The singer with some help from the actress has gotten information about the biker’s mother but the singer is scared now. When the biker comes in she tells him. He’s not upset with her and he goes down to meet his mother. The singer also found out that he also has a brother but they couldn’t find him. The singer with the actresses help gets ready. Finally the couple is married, The couple is so happy and they love each other so much. The couple kisses.

Rob/Forge has just been patched in when Storm gives him an assignment, to find out who is trying to take out the Russo Brothers out in LA. He made over to look like mafia, and starts falling them around, to club where he sees her singing. Bella has been stuck there for eighteen months, never allowed to go anywhere alone. They barely pay her, and have kept her grandmother's fate over her head.
When he finds out who is looking to take out the Russos he also hears the plan for Bella. He cannot leave her there to meet her fate, he takes her with him. The Slayers will protect he until the guys are dealt with. He never thought he would want an old lady, but there is something about Bella that calls to him.
I loved this story, Forge is sweeter than some of the other guys and perfect for Bella. While the book is a standalone for the characters, it is best if the series is read in order as there is an overarching story.
I hope we see more about what was hinted at the end of the book.

I’m really getting tired of this
19 books into series and I’m super sick of. “The formula” deep. Story till 69% I then the bad guys are all tied up in a neat dirt nap bow and then the author reveals so deep secret Themis in a rush to complet and be done with the story and get it over with asap! Then it over so abruptly and leaves me scratching my head wt actual f? Revealing a shock and not following through with the revelation and bamm it’s over ! At a wedding with a mysterious woman with deep secrets and a missing twin brother and. His story is just … over .. I’m beginning to hate this author and will never read anything she writes again after this series I’m seriously debating on not completing the series to boot!

Forge is the nineteenth book in the Dark Slayers MC series. As with the others, Forge finds that one woman who makes his life complete in songbird Isabella. They truly have to fight very hard for their happily ever after, and they get theirs in the end. The characters are quite believable and it is great to see the Russo brothers still in the game and working as allies to the Dark Slayers.
With a lot of action, drama, suspense, steamy romance and more, Forge is an entertaining easy read. I am most definitely ready for the next book in the series.

Forge was just patched into the Dark Slayers M.C then the next thing he knows is he’s undercover trying to find out who’s trying to kill the Russo brothers Allie’s in the mafia. After going to the Trip Easy bar to keep a eye on the brother the singer in the club catches his eye but he try’s to get through to her he’s not interested because he’s working. But after going in for awhile he soon is like a regular. But after bugging the table where two older mobsters sit he gets a break but what he hears makes his blood run cold he now needs to get the singer out and inform the brothers . So enjoy another good read and see what happens!!

While the story was interesting, I think at this point the Russo brothers and the Mafia are taking the lead instead of the MC. Forge's leap into his mission seemed rushed to me, but then all I know about MCs is what I read. Isabella seemed pretty naive with her employment situation, but then we all do things out of character when desperate. It was an enjoyable, if predictable, read.

Forge and Bella’s story has them meeting inside the mob. He was there undercover to see who’s trying to kill the MCs allies and she was there doing her new job as a singer in mob run club. He helps her and takes her back the the clubhouse and their the attraction and chemistry implodes but you gotta have some drama, violence and suspense or it wouldn’t be a good read.

💕💖💕 Forge and Bella 💕💖💕 Forge is part of Dark Slayers MC. Bella is a song bird, singing for the mafia! She thought she found her dream life but she was a prisoner! When Forge is undercover, things go crazy. This is a great book, a great series and an awesome author. I love her books! This is one of the books I love! A MUST READ book!🩷🩷🩷.

Meh
I actually love this series but I just could not get into the female character. She was cheesy honestly. There is zero romantic chemistry between Forge and her. At first I thought Aria was going to play it out as a slow burn but I found that isn't the case. I hate leaving a review like this but I honestly stopped reading at chapter 12 and skimmed a bit after and put it down.
I'm hoping the next one has more heat.

Forge is book 19 in the Dark Slayers series and is Forge and Belles story. It's a gritty, fast-paced, steamy read that pulls you in early on and keeps you there until the end. Belle has herself in quite a mess with the Mob and Forge has his work cut out for him making sure she comes out unscathed. As always, this is another great addition to this series!

It was so much fun to dive back into this MC! I love this loyal, protective group of bikers, and I even loved getting to see what our favorite mobsters have been up to. I can't wait to see what's to come as the MC grows!

A story of found family and love. It can be hard to pull oneself out of feeling lost and shifting say until one can find an anchor. The Dark Skaters are one group of men that protect the helpless and hopeless.
Still want to read the next book, #20.
