Captivating reading, a daughter sold off to Lord Solmar to pay her fathers debts and gain trade routes
She was being taken to Lord Solmar as payment for her father’s debts and in exchange for trade routes and for use of warehouses that he believes will help to attain his family’s wealth and to gain more business.
When the caravan is attacked and the soldiers are killed and the wagons carrying wedding gifts are set on fire it is obvious that no one is going to survive the raiders are simply trying to obtain as many goods of value as possible. She is able to leave the wagon still encased in the chains that bind her and runs for the lava flows and hides in one of the caves, unfortunately disturbing the nest of dragonlings.
As the drakes start to attack a large man comes her assistance, she knows that he is not human and realises that he is in fact a dragon lord that has come to her assistance. Davoren realises that the tiny female is in fact his Mate, he has waited for her for thousands of years and she feels the connection between them almost immediately.
When he is able to rescue her and take her to his home where they become “Bonded Mates” there is so much to learn and the feelings she has for him are a strong connection and he is her Daddy and she knows that he will keep her safe, loved and cared for and he feels the same for her and so much more.
When a festival arrives, he decides that he would like to introduce his Bonded Mate Lady Kara Lyris to them so they know that he has finally been blessed and found his long-awaited mate. On this visit Kara is attacked by agents for the Ice Master Lord Sereis of the Northern Range who has decided that he would be weak after taking a human mate.
The agents all bearing a tattoo of a snowflake with a dragon’s claw have been paid to retrieve her and she manages to hold her own and fight of these frozen agents, they use ice magic to prevent her calling for her Daddy’s help. She had been able to fight her way out herself using her inner magic only recently obtained as she became bound to the Dragon Master.
I guarantee that you will be captivated by this simply wonderful book and I guarantee that readers will be captivated by this simply riveting read.

This was my first time reading anything by this author. It was a very short story with touches of BDSM, dragons, and humans all woven into a magical tale of a union formed by fate, solicited in a dragons nest.
This story is of Kara Lyris whose father “sold” her in exchange for debt to be paid off as well as access to trade routes. On her way to her new betrothed her caravan is attacked and she escapes. Only to run straight into a cave where she first encounters Davoren, the Dragon Lord.
The mate bond is pulling them both strongly towards each other as it does. But Kara fights it because her human side/brain cannot fully understand what it means to be mated to a dragon, let alone one as old as Davoren.
Davoren has waited millennia for a mate. He finally finds her in a cave with new dragon hatchlings and feels the bond light the symbols in his skin. He gives her a choice between death at the talons of dragons protecting this babies or allowing her to see his true form.
This story could be expanded in so many different directions and I hope someday the author will expand it. However I love these short stories when I’m short on time but want a brain break into a fantasy world.
There is some paddling, bondage and a lot of edging. The tension between these two is crazy hot. I’m not always a fan of the daddy dom little sub dynamic but it worked beautifully in this context.
I will be interested to see if this book has a second because I feel like there is u finished business with the Lord she was originally sold to, who is not happy about losing his property.

While I knew this was a DDlg romance, it had a dragon, so I really wasn't sure what kind of reading ride I was in for. Well, let me just say that I inhaled this story in one go and was thankful I wasn't interrupted ;P Fast paced with fab world building, this steamy read brought all the drama and set us up for more books to come. Love this! Kara has been sold off to a rather despicable man to pay off her father's debts. She gets an opportunity to escape the caravan when it's attacked and ends up in the hands of Davoren. He's more than shocked that his mating mark shows up with meeting her and he's thrilled to finally, after millennia, have his one true mate. What follows is choice, consent and a contract that's crystal clear about both their roles...and enough heat to burn up your reader ;P I love that the drama wasn't over just because they found their way together. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book :D

They are both such compelling characters! I loved the set up too.
I gotta tell you, tho. I love me some kink but the specifics of how it was written seemed a weird fit. The kinky furniture and language was cut and pasted from our world without adjustment to the incredible world she created here. The dungeon and baby girl nest in their rooms are indistinguishable from ones here on 21stC earth. It’s anachronistic, and a lost opportunity to get dark about what an ancient dragon lord’s dungeon would be like.
The Little Girl scenario he forces her into before even knowing her is even weirder, we see the same contemporary earth toys, clothing, etc. for littles even tho this is a quasi medieval world with magic and dragons.
And they’re together for freaking eternity, and he can’t get to know her first before he decides what she needs? It just felt wrong. Not everyone is a little, and it’s not something you can force on someone.

This was a nice little story. Kara is on here way to get married for a debt her father owes and her carriage is attacked. She decided to make a run for it and ends up in a cave where she meets Davoren. He has found his mate. The story is cute and the spice was good. I wish there was more. I wanted a little more with the plot, it felt like it was missing something. The little twisted at the end was nice and disappointing. I wish it would have went with the original plot or at least went into more details. I hope this is the beginning of a series. It was a nice read the characters were great. I would have liked a little more spice, but that just me. I wanted to see more of the bond and what happens next.

If you love Daddies and dragons, you have to check this book and new series out. I've read a lot of both dragon and DD/lg books so I want into this read figuring I would enjoy it, but I never anticipated just how much I would love it. In Davoren and Kara's romance the author skillfully crafts an intriguing and captivating story, world and characters that suck you in, have you deeply immersed and leaves you craving new entries just as soon as you can get your hands on them. I loved the unique twists and overall air of freshness brought to the table. I gobbled it up eagerly and I can't wait for more.

So I really enjoyed the first half of the book. The heroine is smart and educated and brave.... except the second half of the book threw me for a loop. I was expecting more of a romance and bonding, instead I got daddy dom / collar play and spankings. look I'm not yucking anyone's yum but this just felt so ... random? it didn't really mesh well with the whole fantasy vibe and felt decidedly modern to me.
I tried to read past it but it just gave me the ick. The heroine goes from badass and running across glass to save herself, saving wronged children etc. to "spank me daddy dragon". it's a no for me tbh.

It was good but I did have to stop reading it after “exquisitely sensitive” was used 3 times in one chapter.
I’m sure I could have gotten over it but it just made me think the rest of the book was going to keep being the same thing over and over again.
I liked that It was a bit different with it being dragon fated mates and little/d@ddy relationship. But the first discipline felt more like an unfair set up and that annoyed me.
The book had good promise it just didn’t feel put together.

A delightful daddy and his little story. We follow Kara as she is sold to pay off her father's debts. Just when things seem hopeless, Davoren appears. He's a Dragon Lord and protects her. That's the beginning of their journey, and there's chemistry and attraction, romance, steam, a bit of obsession, and many hot and steamy moments.

Words really fail me to describe this awesome book.
Lucky really has written such an epic story, it was a book I didn't want to put down and one I wanted more of. Changing to dragon daddies was a bold move and thank you , thank you for this.
I loved your detailed vision of the castle/home and the bonding ceremony was out of this word, beautiful.

Dragon Lord and his Lady

I liked the story but the over abundance of descriptions to everything got old fast!
Kara’s inner monologue went on forever and there was more detailed information on the Dragon Lords palace etc than interactions between our couple. We barley had any dialogue and time to see them grow together
I really enjoyed the bones of the story I just thought the execution of the story wasn’t that well done.

I really enjoyed this story in a brand new series by Lucky Moon. I didn’t want it to end. I loved reading about Davoren and his love, Kara. Kara was supposed to marry someone else when her life forever change. Davoren is a dragon lord and never expected to find his mate. He will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Will they get forever?

This storyline has a unique twist for a Daddy/Little story and I loved it. It’s well written, full of drama and very entertaining. I loved both Davoren and Kara and the fact she is his fated mate. To say the story is 🔥would be an understatement. It’s a great story that is worth reading.

I didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did. The ancient mate bond, Kyra fighting against becoming anyone’s property. This book is steamy, action packed and has a possessive dragon. You don’t want to miss this first book in the new series Dragon Master Daddies. I can’t wait for book 2.

Overall it was a pretty good story with a well thought out plot. Like the description it’s a short instalove dated mates story with kink. Personally I hade trouble connecting with the characters, partially because of how many similes, especially in the first half of the book.

The start of a saga
This is going to be an anticipated series with many twists and turns. This story is the construction of the Dragon history and foundation of the series. This was a great read. Enjoyed the Dragon Daddy though this was a small part of story.

I absolutely loved it and didn't at the same time
This book was way to short and definitely not enough time. To many plots hanging the Daddy little theme is cute but it just didn't fit in here. It felt like an afterthought.
