Jake Raferty is still on parole in October, following his last three-year prison stretch. Despite the restrictions, he has decided to take a quick family vacation, crossing over state lines into West Virginia with his wife and teenage niece. Unfortunately, he couldn’t have picked a worse time to travel. DHSAW is in the process of evacuating Dayjoin’s township. That newly formed government agency has never dealt with an insurgency of ghouls of this scale. It is clear the jinns are intending to take over the entire county and are managing to dramatically alter the weather. Nothing seems to work anymore, with tolerances being degraded enough to make nearly everything impossible to use—especially vehicles and weapons.
Mark Murray works in the computer field and also writes novels. He has written short stories for the E-Zine, Dargonzine (http://www.dargonzine.org) and has been published by Arctic Wolf Publishing (http://www.arcticwolfpublishing.com). He also has several self published novels out there.
When not working, he can usually be found studying martial arts. Mark currently resides in Ohio where he loves outdoor activities, traveling, good food and quality coffee.
