Qui lo starnuto serio di Saitama avrebbe spazzato via il problema Tanos, Galactus e Marvel Zombies in un colpo solo, liberando il mondo dalla piaga MCU (che non sto citando a caso).
"Brucia, mio Cosmo" sarà l'altra vostra reference guida alla chiusura di questo lungo (troppo lungo) arco di Garo.

La stella in meno non è tanto per la supercazzola del finale quanto per il ritorno allo status quo, che ha annullato tutta la carica emotiva che si era andata costruendo volume dopo volume. È un po' un colpo basso. Proprio mirato sotto la cintola.
Capisco che rientra nelle logiche commerciali di un battle shonen di successo, ma lo stesso mi girano assai. Con una diversa gestione di intenti avemmo potuto vedere la conclusione di questa serie in un paio di numeri, mantenendo costante l'escalation di minaccia, dato che il nemico ultimo si è finalmente palesato.

I am cognizant that the denouement was thoroughly remodeled, for the initial iterations disseminated online were vehemently lambasted. At all events, I took great pleasure in this volume: it is exquisitely scripted, and the altercations are utterly magnificent.
Thereupon, the overarching enigma remains absolute: the true identity of "God" is still shrouded in mystery.
I would nonetheless have desired that Saitama retain the memory of his exploits with Garou. Furthermore, despite Garou’s regression, his martial genius and his prodigious capacity for learning and adaptation should logically warrant his immediate instatement into the S-Class.
Lastly, I am entirely at a loss to discern who is clandestinely monitoring Saitama and Genos at the climax, whilst they scavenge the melancholic debris of their abode.

La déchéance de Garou, privé de toute sa puissance en un instant, m'apparaît un peu excessive, même si je suppose que c'est pas plus mal pour la suite.
Je sais que la fin avait été remaniée parce que les premières versions sorties sur le réseau s'étaient fait descendre. En tout cas, j'ai bien aimé ce tome : c'est très bien écrit et les combats sont magnifiques.
Après, le grand mystère reste entier : on ne sait toujours pas qui est "Dieu".
J'aurais quand même bien voulu que Saitama se rappelle de ce qu'il a fait avec Garou. Et puis, même si Garou a régressé, avec son génie martial et ses fabuleuses capacités d'apprentissage et d'adaptation, il devrait logiquement être classé en Classe S d'office.
Enfin, je ne sais pas du tout qui est en train d'espionner Saitama et Genos à la fin, pendant qu'ils fouillent les débris de leur maison.

L'affrontement tant attendu entre Saitama et Garoh atteint son paroxysme dans ce tome 34 de One-Punch Man. Après des volumes de montée en puissance, les deux combattants s'engagent dans une bataille d'une ampleur totalement démesurée qui menace l'existence même de la Terre.

Garoh, devenu plus redoutable que jamais, utilise l'ensemble des techniques et pouvoirs qu'il a acquis au fil de son parcours. Face à lui, Saitama est contraint de dépasser son habituelle nonchalance. Pour la première fois depuis longtemps, le héros semble véritablement poussé dans ses retranchements.

Le combat quitte rapidement les limites du champ de bataille traditionnel pour prendre une dimension cosmique. Les affrontements se déroulent à une échelle spectaculaire, offrant certaines des séquences les plus impressionnantes de la série.

Yusuke Murata livre une nouvelle démonstration de son immense talent graphique. Chaque page déborde d'énergie, de détails et de puissance visuelle. Les scènes d'action sont particulièrement spectaculaires et renforcent l'impression de démesure qui caractérise ce duel hors norme.

Au-delà du combat, ce tome réserve également plusieurs surprises scénaristiques qui viennent bouleverser les attentes des lecteurs. L'humour propre à la série reste présent, mais laisse ici davantage de place à l'émotion et aux conséquences des événements.

L'équilibre entre action explosive, personnages attachants et moments inattendus continue de faire la force de One-Punch Man. Ce volume marque un tournant important dans l'histoire et offre plusieurs séquences parmi les plus mémorables de la saga.

The Monster Association leaders have been defeated and the battle between Saitama and Garo continues. With Garo obtaining additional power from god, the fight threatens to destroy the whole world. Blast and his band of unknown allies must act fast and manage to transport the fight to one of the moons of Jupiter. Saitama clings to Genos’ lifeless core as Garo and him go blow for blow, both reaching new heights of power. Once Garo sees Saitama’s true power, the crumpled body of Tareo, and Genos’ core, the realization of what he’s become materializes.

Saitama under the momentary tutelage of Garo, is able to use the pain of losing everyone to create a punch that can transient time. In a flash, Saitama goes back to when he first entered the fight, still clutching Genos’ dead core; knocks the monster and god from Garo and the now not dead heroes descent.

Saitama and Garo remember none of this, and only Genos, having plugged into the core of his alternate (dead) self, sees what could have happened, or rather what did happen.

Overall, it was great to see this fight finally happen and a closing to the Monster Association fight.

***MINIMUM SPOILER WARNING*** Action packed with awesome fight scenes between the main characters, artwork is on point but once again lots of splash pages that take up most of the book, very little dialogue for the first 3/4s of the story. My bottom line is, as much as I love "One Punchman" overall I'm starting to feel as if it's being rushed, I wait so long in between manga volumes excited for it and to only receive another "meh" from the last few issues. As stated, I love the storyline and characters overall so I'll stick with it a little longer.
