I can def. say that All Four of these stories had me! All four kept me interested

I would definitely recommend reading this book. It contains 4 or 5 short stories that show what females are capable of doing with that take charge attitude. I am not into reading short stories but this one I have to admit was very good. I enjoyed reading each story and at times wish it was a full novel. I am a fan of each of these authors and look forward to reading more of their work.

Holy crap. This is the book you recommend to your patrons who like urban fiction and are bored with the same-old same-old. Contains about the same amount of sex, but much more violence.
This is a collection of four novellas about ice-cold, ruthless women who have no problem killing you dead if you stand in their way. "Twisted Loyalty" is about a cleaning crew (as in, post-murder, destroy the evidence cleaning) that gets sucked into a gang war they didn't ask for. "Three the Hard Way" tells the story of how the Get Money Bitches are taken down by someone they've harmed (the twist ending on this one blew my mind - did NOT see it coming). "The Face of Death" is a disturbing tale of the queen of the East Coast scene, her loveless marriage, and the revenge she enacts on her husband (oh my god, it's awful). "Chasers," the final story, is actually a little milder than the others, comparatively, but not by much, as a friendship ends over a man, though, again, not in the way you might expect.
I just. Wow. People look down their noses at street lit, but they don't understand the storytelling they're missing. There's a REASON why these books are so popular, and it's not just the bling (this book is surprisingly low on bling). This volume is exciting, keep-you-guessing type stuff, so if you're into thrillers and willing to try something new, pick this up. Ditto if you liked The Wire. Just remember: never tell all your secrets. You might not get out alive.

I was gifted with a copy of this book....
WOW!!! It has been quite awhile since I've read Urban Fiction, and this Anthology was the best way to get my feet back in! I would have never thought that each story would be so enthralling, I literally could not put it down. Unfortunately, I had to for work. Each story infused me like I was now a Gutta B!%$&, I'm screaming GET MONEY!! I recommend this for any and everyone who would love a can't put down good read.

Great read. I am not much on short stories and and was infuriated after getting to the end of the 1st one lol. I wanted more after each one I read. They all kept my attention and I eagerly went on to the next one. A wonderful collection of stories by some great writers. I look forward to reading more of your working...and yes including short stories.

Gutta Mamis is a collection of stories about women who put in work and get the job done. In each of the stories you meet women without fear and loyalty to only themselves. The gutta theme did run throughout the book and was constant.
Each author brought something to the table with each story. Drama and action provided the background. Each ending left you in your feelings. You were thinking one way and they went another way.
I give four stars for the work as a whole. Each author gave their best and the stories reflect their efforts.

This book was the business, if you have not read this book then you do not know what you are missing. I encourage everyone to pick this book up. 5 stars for me....
