Janet -- Thor is an addiction I can’t seem to overcome. He’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a man, and everything I can never have. They call him Thor for a reason -- he looks like a modern-day Viking with that shaggy blond hair, piercing blue eyes, and ropes of muscles covered in intricate tattoos. And in bed the man is definitely a god who grants my every secret desire. I walked away from the marriage my parents tried to force me into, but I’m not naive enough to think they’re going to let me go. They have money. Power. Influence. They know how to bend people to their will. They will make sure I marry someone they approve of, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out they will never approve of Thor.
Thor -- Janet is mine. I know she knows it, too. I can see it in her eyes, hear it in her voice, feel it every time we make love. But she refuses to wear my cut and freaks out if I mention anything permanent. I have no idea what her issue is, but it doesn’t matter. I want her, and I’m going to have her if it takes me the rest of my life to convince her. I want her to come to me willingly. I love her enough not to force her.
Now I just have to stay alive long enough for that to happen, because someone wants me dead.

Award winning author Anne Kane lives in the beautiful Okanagan Valley with a bouncy little rescue mutt(Merlin the Wonder Dog), a slightly larger rescue dog (Lexi the Bouncy) a cantankerous Himalayan cat (Jeff), and too many fish to count. She has two handsome sons and seven adorable grandchildren. She's always been fascinated by science fiction and fantasy so of course when she writes, she lets her imagination take over. The one thing the reader can always count on is that the main characters will live happily ever after, even if they have to defeat a few nasty aliens first.
When she's not busy writing the next great novel, she likes to kayak, hike, ride motorcycles, swim, skate, practice karate, play her guitar, sing and of course, read.
Thor was a member of Riptide MC who looked the part of a Viking and that drew Janet into his life. He wanted her to take his cut but she was hesitant because of her family. This was especially true because Janet thought it might even be her family that was trying to take Thor’s life.
This book was suspenseful and had a lot of twists and turns that made this book a big page turner. I look forward to see what this author brings next.
This was another fast paced and engaging read. I found the stubborn struggle between Thor and Janet highly entertaining. She's keeping secrets and won't commit to Thor, for his safety. Thor knows she's it for him and can't figure out why she won't be his old lady... Expect to giggle, cry and fan yourself as the these two sort themselves out to get their fab and steamy HEA. You can also expect to have your jaw drop with the massive twist at the end. I was totally surprised at the resolution of the mystery swirling around them and love what came from it. So good and I can't wait for the next book :D
Thor knows that Janet is his woman and is determined to do what it takes to make it possible, but she comes from a family with money that can cause damage to him and the MC. Her family has her husband al picked out, but it goes against what Janet wants. Will Thor be able to hold onto his woman and keep her family at bay. This story is filled with drama that kept me glued to the pages.

Book 4 in the Riptide MC series is Thor and Janet's fast-paced, quick read. Thor and Janet battle family among other things in this one and it's not an easy task. Manipulative, demanding and forceful coming from money makes it all difficult but Janet is tough, hard headed and determined. Thor is possessive, obsessive and protective and is intent on making Janet his.
You have such a unique voice, and I really admire the way you were able to make every page so engaging. Honestly, it’s one of those books that stays with you long after reading.
