4.5 stars… BUT only because I think this could have been a full novel!
I’ve read all of P.Js books and I’m committed to the world. I love that side characters are being explored and ADORE the fact that one of the vampires is plus sized. There are so many books out there where the vampires are the standard size and all that, so this was refreshing.
I’ve mentioned that I think we need more of these novellas to the author as the world she’s creating is one that cries out to be read.

Fantastic Lesbian Vampire Story
This is a lovely novella about a human woman turning into a vampire and gaining a female vampire stalker. It's very cute to see a woman as the stalker instead of a man; it feels much less threatening. I love this writing style where the author poses multiple questions in a row. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes vampire stories or lesbian dark romances. I really like the unique vampire lore revealed throughout the story. It's only 149 pages and I would say definitely worth the short read if you're on the fence. 5 stars all around!

A fabulous sapphic novella, featuring Grace and Elodie from Spine of the Worlds series (although it can be read as a complete standalone). Only 149 pages - the only downside as I could have kept reading for ever.
This is the story of how Grace becomes a vampire. Elodie is, unfortunately, tasked with looking after the baby vamp... but gets a whole lot more in return.
I'm keeping this review very short as I don't want to give any of the magic away. This was a beautiful and gripping read that I'd recommend to everyone and anyone.

Blood and Broken Smile
For a novella this was jam-packed full of love, longing, and complicated pasts. It was a beautiful story with tension and awkward moments. I don't usually read these types of stories but I am so glad I picked this one up.

I loved this novella it had a real heart to it. The relationship that grows between Grace and Elodiei is beautiful and steamy. I cannot wait for the next instalment of spine of the worlds to see more of these characters
