I just finished this book. I only listen to books while I am driving so it takes a bit to finish them sometimes. This one is the first book in a 5 book series called the House of Prey. It is a psychological thriller with religious cult thrown in. She actually grew up in one and I was not sure what to expect but I could not quit listening!!! She is really good and had me gripping my seat (figuratively) from start to finish!

OMG!!! This was amazing!!! Warning, it has an open ending, so go ahead and get the sequel so you can start reading it immediately! That is what I did and ended up staying up until 6am to finish them both!! The supernatural parts were more than a wee bit scary so probably shouldn't read it in bed alone at night.

I enjoyed the book. It has a good amount of suspense. I wish it had wrapped up more of the plot. I would’ve like for this book to answer more of the unanswered plot lines. I thought the plot was good and I am interested how it moves forward.
