Read your trigger warnings!
This one was a complete doozy. Be prepared for a serious amount of trauma but also a seriously healthy dose of monster wieners.
Alania would make any brat proud with her infinite amount of inner strength. This girl goes through some serious shit and still holds her head high like the damn queen that she is. I honestly don’t know what I would do if I had the same amount of wieners being thrown at me on a daily basis. 🫠 The woman she has become is not the same as the girl who walked into the society kicking and screaming. With her men by her side, let’s be honest, I’d come out on top too. Pun intended. Giggidy. 😂
The banter and one liners are top tier! The trauma and heartbreak are so real. The love is reviving and the smut is smuttin’. 10/10 what a great start to a series!

Boom! This book is INTENSE! So many trigs and trauma but wow. Filled with Spice and Banter … I giggled and cheered Alaina on as she found more inner strength. Please please do shrug off the warnings, look to author notes for content awareness as this is a HEAVY book.

I am once again stunned with how well written a story is by Emily. This is a dark read. Please be sure to read all TW before embarking on this one hella amazing journey.
Aliana has a horrific story to tell and she rises like a phoenix above the ashes to slay her demons one by one!
Being sent to a school to learn to be submissive, per her fathers rule, yeh that is not going to happen, as her own plans on what will happen at this so called school for BDSM is not to submit! Having been abused by her father since the age of 6, she is determined to fight her way to the top and slay anyone who gets in her way.....but then she meets her Master Adrian (Rian).
He knows he has a brat when he first meets and clashes with Aliana, and knows there is a story to tell. But he loves to tame all brats until they submit! He falls heavily and quickly for his little dove! You will all love Adrian as he tries valiantly to help Aliana through her trauma and triggers.
Aliana initially isn't fooled by all his attention, but soon realises he is her safe space.
There is a lot to unpack in this story but it is well worth embarking on Aliana's journey towards freedom.
She realises she loves her "brother" Brent (who is no blood relation to Aliana) and he soon becomes the third partner in their MMF relationship. Her one and only friend Fiona and her "husband" Raul join in the take over of the school and its dictatorship. Raul has feelings for Aliana also, and Fiona encourages their relationship quite happily. So it soon becomes MMMF....as Fiona does not join in with their "games".
From partaking in the schools curriculum to becoming their Queen, ruling beside Adrian, Brent and Raul as they reform for the better of the participants that enrol.
Loved the banter, loved how Adrian never faulted in his love for Aliana, even when she was so easy to trigger and spiral. He was there for her the whole way as were all her guys.
I am sure you will enjoy Aliana's story as much as I did. A resounding 5 stars from me!!

Please please please check the triggers! This is definitely one of Emily Klepp's darker reads.
Alania just graduated, but now she is expected at an entirely different kind of school. At this academy, the society teaches women to submit and men how to be masters. Women are expected to be quiet and compliant, but that is not the type of woman Alania is. They expected blind obedience, but Alania didn't expect for submission to feel like freedom and stability. But she and her master, Adrian, quickly learn that the society isn't running the way it should and sometimes freedom requires sacrifice.
Alania is a brat through and through and she would make any brat proud. She keeps her head held high despite all she has suffered. She has physical and emotional scars from years of abuse at the hands of her father and learning to trust anyone associated with the society is incredibly difficult. In spite of all her trauma, she is still a brave, intelligent, and compassionate woman, but she tends to become a brat when her emotions are out of control because it's the only coping mechanism she has. Adrian never wanted a submissive robot for a wife. He wants someone who will push back and challenge him. When he is paired with Alania as her master, he quickly bonds with her and become protective. Unfortunately, one of the other masters has painted a target on Alania and he won't back down without a fight. Brent and Alania were raised as siblings, but as they unravel some of the secrets of the society, they learn that the man who raised them lied about more than just her origins.
This is a dark why choose romance with a whole lot of spice! I really enjoyed this book, but it is definitely on the darker side of Emily Klepp's writing. There is a lot of past trauma in our characters' backgrounds as well as traumatic events in the book. I love that all of the men accept Alania for who and where she is. They all understand that sometimes she acts out when she is feeling insecure or sensing instability and they are willing to put in the work to understand why she is feeling that way. I love that Emily Klepp's books really emphasize how healing can look so different for different people and that there is no wrong way to heal from your trauma. I would definitely recommend this book, but as I said at the beginning, please check the triggers first.

One of my favorite books from Emily! This story was phenomenal and I was hooked from start to finish.
Alania is sent to a submissive academy by her father, in hopes of breaking her. Her so-called father has caused a lot of harm that would traumatize anyone. Alania has a lot of trauma that unfolds and some of the backstory of what has happened to her. But she never thought she would meet anyone like Adrian aka Rian (dom) very heated 🥵 who takes great care of her. Later in the story she has more men who will do anything for her Brent, Raul & Derek 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶. I was very sad when a couple of characters died. But another great book from Emily with heavy spice, love, twists & turns, dom & sub, and darkness.

I devoured this book. Please check TW before reading. Emily has written another great story full of trauma, lost love one's, brutal abuse with so many twists it makes your head spin and your heartache for all the ones that are abused by the evil that taints the world with their existence. When Alania is sent to Hamilton School Of Excellence for the elite members of the secret society she meets Adrian and becomes his Little Dove. And positive changes are happening for her in the best way possible.
This is a must read for all you lovers of Dark Romance with heavy triggers.
The mental health care and loving support Alania receives throughout all the tragedies that happens in this story is most excellent. A lot of good things happen to rid their world of the evil men and to move on and keep healing the broken pieces. Alania and her totally swoon worthy men Adrian, Raul, Brent, and Derek are all making positive changes for those who come next. It's totally awesome.
This steamy dark romance shows that there is always hope for a better, fulfilling, happy life beyond the darkness that has once been your life.

Alania is sent to a “finishing school”, which is really a school to learn how to be submissive. There are several Masters there as well as Masters in Training and other subs. There’s to be 6 months of learning after which she will be hunted during a Hunt and wifed up by the Master whomever catches her.
I was hooked from the beginning, despite being annoyed with some of the things that the FMC said and did. I love secret society books and adding in the BDSM factor, it was totally my kind of book. So many secrets, so much trauma, so much love.
I loved Adrian with Alania. He was amazingly supportive as were several of his fellow Masters. There’s always a villain though.
All in all, a great book!

This book completely captivated me. I couldn't put it down until it was finished. The FMC was raised to believe that women submit, quiet, subservient, and willing. She has a bit of a rebellious attitude that her father doesn't like. After she graduates, she's sent to an institute that teaches women to submit and men how to be there masters.
Men have tried to break Alania her whole life, and it doesn't stop once she gets to the Academy. But along come a few men who don't agree with the current practices at the Academy and try their best to help Alania and save her from the darkness that's drawing her closer.
To read what Alania went through her whole life, the people who clipped her wings, the lies she was told was heart breaking. I cried so much reading her story. But then , watching her men protect her, build her up, and do everything to bring light to her life was truly amazing.

I absolutely loved this story and the characters. Alania and the guys are perfect for each other. While they all have been through some pretty tragic things, they have managed to find the light in each other. I felt all the emotions reading this. Heartbreak, anger, sadness, joy, all of them. I definitely growled at Emily for the parking lot scene (dont want any spoilers, but how could you do that Enily!) I want to know what the society and school are like after all of this.

Alania has a history of past traumas at the hands of her abusive father. She has led a tough life. She lives in a different type of society in which the women are meant to be submissive to their masters, the men. But complying is not necessarily in her nature. When she is sent to her "submissive" school, she meets her "master" Adrian. This is a dark reverse harem romance where Alania has more than one love interest. I loved that she had all of her men to help her heal.

This is a longer read compared to some of Emily's other books, but amazing all the same! As always please check your triggers going into it because this book is full of traumas, it is a dark secret society romance so you have been warned. I love that with the over a hundred books Emily has written, she's still able to come up with new concepts, new characters, and not make the stories seem like they're all repeating themselves. And I can't wait to see what else comes with this series!

Alania, or Nia, has been hurt her whole life. When she enters the school and meets Adrian, or Rian, things change for her.
I loved this book. The dynamic between Alania and Adrian, and then in the future, her other partners, was perfect. They grew and developed together. There's one particular scene that had me completely shocked, and I had to put the book down to just feel! I am looking forward to reading more in this series!

This book was very good. It was intense as all of Emily's books are. Always check your triggers. Bratty Alaina is sent to a sex training school that is ran by men to make woman sex slaves. What happens when she meets her match and gets out better than when she went in.

This book was so good! It’s about a girl who is forced to go to this school run by a secret society to learn how to be a submissive and get married off. This book has so many twists and turns. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I loved every minute of it! Great spice!

Where do I even start? Check Trigger Warnings before reading because this book is so intense.
Another 5 star read by Emily Klepp. What a way to start a series. I loved it. This book is so good. This book is dark and twisted and I was all for it. Alania is such a brat and it was crazy seeing her progression throughout the book. The book was full of banter, over the top spice, tension and drama. I highly recommend. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Another amazing book by Emily Klepp. Alina is stubborn to a fault and refuses to give in until she meets Adrian (Rian). The dynamic between the two is not for the faint of heart and let me tell you, this is spicy.

I absolutely adored this book! It's my favorite by Emily Klepp to date. The blend of academia, engaging characters, witty banter, and a captivating storyline filled with unexpected twists kept me hooked. Just a heads up, it's a dark romance, so be mindful of your triggers if you have any. Personally, I enjoy the element of surprise, but I understand that not everyone feels the same. The dynamic between Alaina and Adrian was fantastic, and the addition of Brent, Raul, and Derek only heightened the emotional rollercoaster. This book truly made me feel everything, and I cherished every moment. It's a must-read for anyone who loves dark romance!

This is a dark poly why choose, make sure to read the trigger warnings. This book covers some dark topics. We are following Alania as she is forced to attend a submissive school. Although she is a brat and doesn't want to have any part of it. I enjoyed how she stood up for herself and the banter between her and the guys. The action in this book is non-stop, just when you think they are in the clear, something else happens. Definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat

As a therapist... this book is painful... brutal... tr@um@tic. It is incredibly dark and cover-to-cover full of w@rnings that should not be avoided. There are a couple de@ths that are heart breaking and overall a lot of really hard hitting moments. The plot is heavily s€x♡al, but in a way that actually shows how healing it can be when done in healthy way. The realities of what some of the darkest parts of society can look like and how it can get better. The realities that recovery can look different for different people and how to find the recovery right for the individual... and the beauty of dynamics that work for the people involved.

A Dove to Break by Emily Klepp was so good. It took me through all the emotions, I went from happiness to anger to tears. What Aliana, Adrian, Brent, Raul, and Derek go through is vast. The trauma, healing, and growth as people was absolutely spectacular. All they had to go through to get through their struggles…. I have no words for. I highly suggest this book. It was wonderful.

This book is everything and more I want to read in a Secret Society very dark romance. It’s also a RH so I truly was drooling while reading every delicious word. Now, Emily doesn’t sugar coat abuse and so if you have triggers read them! I could feel each and everyone’s pain in my gut . Alana has had so much sadistic abuse in her life and in the beginning she’s a train wreck. This place is a school that isn’t teaching education it’s a secret society and It’s turning these women to be totally submissive. There’s those that are not the ones to harm their subs but there’s ones that will not only harm them but kill them! This is when this story has so many secrets unveiled ( slowly ) and twists and turns so intense I had to take time to breathe! However, Alana struggles with trust and suicide attempts so be warned that again Emily lets us see abuse for what it is horrific and long lasting. The men that fight for her and love her are my heroes ! Also, the spice is so hot that I was reading scenes and fanning myself 🖤 The story had me on edge right up until the HEA! It’s a very dark read and so well written that I am proud to have read and reviewed this as an ARC reader. When this is available read it!

Holy Fuck. This book is not one for faint of heart. It pushes the boundaries of the norm in the best way. Be prepared to laugh, cry, be violently horrified & fall in love within the pages of A Dove to Break. P.S where does one find her own Adrian Santos👀🤣

I loved the way Emily did this story. She made our mfc a baddie. She was forced into going to a school to learn the lifestyle. She doesn't want to go because she wants to be free of that world. She is essentially a brat. We meet our mmc and he doesn't want to marry because no woman intrigues him enough until he meets Alania. They form a bond and fall hard. They go through a lot of ups and downs but alway rely on each other. They uncover hidden secrets and demolish injustices. This is definitely a must read. Always check your triggers warnings.
