I absolutely loved this book. As a lifelong Subaru fan, particularly with the Impreza WRX and STI models, I felt proud and was at times inspired when reading this book. For me, this book does an amazing job at making the Impreza seem more like an entity rather than a car, describing in detail how the Impreza is not just a car, but a symbol of adaptiveness, change, and development, whilst retaining its root and rally bred origin. From my perspective, the story of the Impreza in this book can be applied to people's lives, from underdogs in sports, to over performers in colleges, and loyal partners, in regards to Subarus excellence in engineering, relationship with their fan base, and success in WRC.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the Subaru Impreza, or any car enthusiasts in general. Fans of the fast and furious franchise, or top gear lovers, along with gamers who play the likes of Forza Horizon will love this book. I felt as though the book would still be enjoyable to read if it had 1000 more pages. Jack Mercer did a good job here. I'll definitely be looking to re-read this book in the future, and I'm already looking to obtain Subaru- From Snowdrifts to Street Legends by Jack Mercer. If it's anything like this book when I come to read it, then it'll get a 5 star rating too!
