The whole story really feels like a DnD-Campaign. Great conclusion, without dragging on too long.

Great finish to a great series!
I’m sad this series is done, I read this when there was only the first book and waited (not so patiently) for each subsequent book. The characters feel like old friends at point and now I have to say goodbye!

This series started out as an amazing D&D fantasy story and I was very impressed. It was initially harem genre (which is what it's tagged) so it's a real shame that it's followed the popular trend of being labelled as harem genre but later (once there are a few LIs) devolving into the bisexual polyamorous (sharing/cucking, etc.) genre instead.
There's at least one bisexual orgy/group sex scene in the book. I don't know, there may be more, but I stopped reading the book and am unsure if I'll continue. I strongly prefer loving romantic relationships with my smut (i.e. erotica) rather than reading straight-up trashy porn (trashy porn is better in a video format IMO). The political discussions and maneuvering got overbearing and obnoxious and really dragged the series down as well. It seems like the author has been going all-in with political filler in her recent series (IMO the high fantasy genre should be an escape from mundane real world dreary stuff like that but not everyone shares this opinion obviously).

Fantastic ending
This was a great series all the way through, Sarah always has fantastic characters, but I think the story and setting of this one out shines even them in this case, I actually enjoy that we never got answers to some questions and it seems the world is not completely "saved". I've had Sarah's other book on my list for awhile that is also set in this universe and I will be reading that shortly and I'm excited to see what happened before knowing what the world becomes.

A spicy satisfying conclusion to this epic story.
Sarah Hawke weaves together spice with an epic adventure, in a world of magic and faith. I’m just blown away every time I finish one of her books. If you like spice and you like an epic fantasy setting then you need to dig into this series.

I loved the relationships between the characters and the way they progressed through the entire series. I have developed a love for Sarah Hawk books and have read many. Highly recommended!
