Sienna was dumb and insufferable.
Sienna is also the OW from book 1 wo slept with Remi’s boyfriend. Remi is now married to Angelo. Angelo is Fabien’s brother. Can we please not f*ck around in the same circle.
As an 18 year old, dreaming to become a fashion designer, she thinks the best way to go is by becoming a prostitute. Wtf am I reading🤡.
To spite Fabien, she marries Michele, a manwhore in his sixties, who gives her the creeps and runs the prostitution ring of the mob. If you know the guy is bad and you still choose to marry him just to be petty, you deserve all that’s coming to you. After getting rid of the whore who worked for him, she takes her place and becomes the one running the prostitution ring while being a whore herself.
Miss me with this crap.

Ehhh okay first of all I liked the first book of this series well enough, but for some reason this book just didn’t hit for me. First of all the constant time jumps in b/t chapters was making it really hard to keep up with the story and second the spicy scenes were just not my cup of tea..
I’ll give this book props for being kinda funny at moments though but besides that I was overall disappointed

This otherwise sombre mafia tragedy still brings the hallmark cheekiness and verbal sparring that I love about Andrea Hagan’s novels. It has a bit of everything: sadness, trauma, humour, sexiness, grand romantic gestures, respectful amounts of necessary groveling, and an attack dog with personality. All the pieces are patiently and cleverly fitted together to deliver a love story with depth and beauty. I love all of it, even the weirdly kinky parts and the parts that challenged and discomfited me. This author keeps amazing me.

I’m obsessed with the NOLA monster series !!! I thought I was with book one already … but this book … it definitely proved it to me !! Fabian and Sienna’s story … it was perfection. So dark and yet so light. So wrong and yet so right. So scary and happy and hopeless and hopeful and hot … so. Damn. Hot. When you say the MMC is obsessed with her … you haven’t met Fabian yet … he brings obsession to a whole new level. You don’f get to tell him what he feels for her because… he has always knows. Of course, check trigger warnings before diving into this book because there are some tough moments that defines the characters’ storyline but that might bring you tears and triggers. Sienna is … I loved her. Regardless of some moments when I simply wanted her to stop and feel, she was in her own right. From the very beginning. Resilient, strong, stubborn and sexy. Basically the perfect match for the possessive, crazy, addictive and obsessive personality that Fabian shows. Their romance was a whirlwind and a rollercoaster. I couldn’t stop reading at any page. I dreaded having to stop and now that it’s over … I need the sequel already !!!!

Man, these two put me THROUGH IT.
I friggin LOVEDDDD these two! I love this mafia series so much, and after reading Angelo, I didn’t think I could ever devour Fabien and Sienna the way I did with Angelo and Remi.
We meet Sienna in Angelo’s book, and she comes off as cold and ruthless, not exactly a girl’s girl.
In this book, we get her backstory that leads up to how she was portrayed. This poor woman has been through such heartache. Ten years ago, she meets Fabien, and they both fall HARD and FAST, but she isn’t used to his world, and there are secrets she wasn’t prepared for that tear them apart. For those ten years they are apart, Sienna becomes the hard and cold woman we see in book 1. She is madly in love with Fabien, yet she will not allow her heart to be broken again, and she takes the term groveling to an entirely new level. This man will endure and do anything to get her back again. She does NOTTTT make it easy. Their painful journey back to one another was well worth every page of yearning.
The banter between these two was EXCELLENT. They had me cracking up!
The chemistry? That was never their problem. These two are downright FILTHY.
I ate this right up, and I can’t wait for what’s next.

Both characters have their own side of the story, and I just loved following all these breadcrumbs until I got to the core of it all. The truth of who they were and who they have become and why. It was heartbreaking for sure, but it made their story such an intriguing one to read.

La historia en sí me pareció buena, pero todo lo que pasó me dejó con una sensación horrible.
No llegué a odiar a Fabien, pero sí me sentí profundamente decepcionada de él. Como dice ella, siempre llegaba tarde, con poco dinero y prometiéndole que iba a protegerla, pero nunca lo hizo realmente.
Pasó por cosas horribles y, sinceramente, no creo que la justificación que Fabien dio sea suficiente para que todo eso valiera la pena. No importa cuánto la haya amado o cuánto haya sufrido él después; siento que el precio que ella pagó fue demasiado alto.
Tal vez lo ama lo suficiente como para volver con él y ser feliz a su lado, y quizá eso es lo que él siempre quiso. Pero yo no puedo dejar de pensar que merecía mucho más.
Así que, aunque creo que la historia es buena, terminé más decepcionada que enojada con Fabien. Porque después de todo lo que pasó, simplemente no siento que su explicación lo justifique

Loved getting to know more about the crazy Calvanis! And so so looking forward to book 3. But I’m getting ahead of myself. This one was pretty heavy, so read the content warnings for this one if you have triggers. That being said, all of the heaviness made the story feel so much more intense and I was rooting for Sienna and Fabien the whole time, even though Sienna wasn’t. She’s probably one of the toughest FMC’s I’ve ever seen and I’m so glad she made it through everything she did. Easy 5 stars for this crazy couple.

This book is an amazing read that from the moment that you start the first page, you will be hooked and unable to put down. It moves along at a pace that is perfect for the flow of the story, making for an easy and enjoyable read that will take you away to another world that will suck you in till the last page is read. The characters are amazing and no matter what happens you will love them. This is a must read book, that no matter what needs to be read.

Think I love Fabien and Sienna more than the other two.
So much to unlock with this book and my heart hurt for both. Their history is routed in passion but also massive lies and heartbreak.

The story was good and it held my interest but the flashbacks were all over the place and felt random. It hurt the continuity. I would have rated this higher had it not been for that.

You know an author is amazing when they can take to previously hated characters and make you fall for them. Well that is just was Andrea did with this story. This is a true redemption and second chance mafia romance. Not only just a second chance as a couple but to have others understand their choices. I devoured this book, if sleep was not a necessity I would have not stopped. This one is a little darker than the first books(check the triggers) but what a way this played out and all came together. Get ready for some true heart wrenching emotional damage. This was a wild ride.
