The Forgotten Fleet: Complete Trilogy

Rate this book
Humanity is on the brink.

Piloting drone fighters from inside the fleet's most durable ships, drone pilots wage space battles thousands of kilometers away. Their success is unparalleled, and for years they have held the invading Baranyk at bay. But when the alien enemy develops a new weapon that renders the fleet's drone fighters inoperable, humanity is on the verge of destruction.

Callan "Coda" O'Neil joined the Terran Fleet Academy with dreams of becoming a prestigious drone pilot and restoring honor to his disgraced family. Fleet Command, however, has other ideas.

To counter the alien weapon, Commander Chadwick Coleman, a legendary pilot from the early days of the Baranyk War, is assembling an experimental new squadron that will place real pilots in the cockpit of real starfighters. And he wants Coda to be part of it.

With the enemy pressing in, and forced to train under impossible conditions, Coda and his fellow wingmen must learn to fly as one. Failure means the destruction of the human race.

And time is running out.

Excellent

Blood and guts, death and destruction to the ultimate degree. I gave it 5 stars only to honor the work the author put in to write it. I scanned it from beginning to end hoping for something that wasn't just a repeat of the many stories of this type.... But alas, it was just another of its type... And therefore I can only say - if you can scan or if you've never read a book of this type before - you might enjoy it.

Warriors and pilots well trained.

Wow, one of the best. I couldn't put it down. Coda is a great pilot who started off the back foot and caught up very fast then had to stay there. He knew he could. Very well written and researched. War , enemies, colleagues and friends who make new families,

An engaging adventure

Stunning in its sweeping action packed adventures, this trilogy manages to grab both heart strings and adrenal glands and squeeze mercilessly. Exciting from beginning to end with a lot of plot thickening, it has much to offer fans of both space adventure and space opera.

Definitely recommended.

solid

This was a good read the story was solid! There was enough action to keep you involved. It was good. There was bad there was hope there was sadness and there was victory.

Maturing from a disturbed teen into a heroic pilot

A tightly written novel of a disturbed teen maturing into the heroic pilot he had always hoped his father had been.

fast paced

I particularly liked the short chapters which gave the story the pace of the action and rounded out the various characters. Well done
