Alright seems i have caught up to the light novels. Im a bit happy about it because well im caught up so i should know everything about the story but its also a bit sad as now ill have to wait lots and lots of time for the next volumes. I really enjoyed it so im looking foward to it. It was so fun i sometimes easily read one and a half volume a day. Well so what happened in this volume and what do i think about it? well this volume was packet with plot developements and it was really fun. Ayanokoji transfering to class c isnt small. im really curious how he will lead the class and how will their alliance with ichinose work. I also want to know how Ayanokojis relationship with Ichinose will evolve because its kinda confusing now. Like they slept together but its not like their dating and it doesnt look like they will date anytime soon. I also want to see how Horikita will lead her class. Ayanokoji leaving was a huge blow not just to her but to everyone in class A. And horikita realized that.. without ayanokoji.. she is weak. She said so herself. I want to see her grow and see the potential Ayanokoji sees in her. That also applies to ryueen. His attack on class C.. or more namely Ayanokoji wasnt very thought out and it failed. Ayanokoji also sees potential in ryueen. So i hope he can demonstrate it. And how will they try to defeat Ayanokoji? Sakayangi told ryueen that she will create a weakness in Ayanokoji for him when leaving the school. Im super curious about what the weakness is but it looks like we have leads. Towards the end of the book in the short stories we saw Shiraishi being obsessed with Ayanokojis voice and perhaps ayanokoji himself and she said to herself line for line (in the translation i have) "Sakayanagi san. Please leave the rest to me" So what could that mean? Perhaps her liking ayanokoji has something to do with it but i cant imagine where it could go. Even if she tries something on ayanokoji he will see it. Sakayanagi said she can create the weakness "because his mind is so brilliant" so what could that mean? I guess well have to see but ill definitely think about it a bit more. Maybe ill see something. Anyway we also saw Nanase with 2 phones. One personal one and one dedicated to calling with Tsukishiro. So i guess she really is a bit with tsukishiro still. But whats her goal and why is she talking to tsukishiro? is it really just monitoring him? I kinda trusted nanase but then red flags showed up and now this. Maybe she isnt bad, but im not too sure about trustworthy. On a fun note its really unusual Ibuki kinda getting liking spending time in Horikitas room and getting closer to her and maybe kushida. I guess it might not be impossible for people who dont like each other to like each other under specific circumstances and time spend together.

The beginning of the second year was insane, I still think that it the volume that stood out the most to me out of the entire series. So of course I was a little disappointed when not much happens here.
Yes it's crazy that he switched classes, and I understand that we need time to set all the new characters up. But it was lacking action for me, the exam wasn't very tense and not very interesting. Getting a little fed up at this point.
Beyond tired of all these one sided crushes. We get it, you all think he is amazing. Let's move on now.
I want Kei and Horikta to team up and get revenge. Not that would be enjoyable.
This one definitely felt like a setup book. I understand the class transfer situation needed time to be addressed, but it felt like that dominated the majority of this book. Interested to see where things go once the ball really gets moving
De vorige, aka deel 37, de season finale, was absoluut legendarisch en dit overtreft het duidelijk niet, maar wel een nice change of pace en wat ademruimte. Love de dynamiek nog steeds lolol
-2/5 And the Chunibyou-Koji Evil Emperor arc begins Lets freakin go Someone pls off him😭🙏
By the half of Year 2 rolls around ,you start wondering , just where the hell is this story going? From all the premise of Chuni-kiyo wanting to learn about society and human emotions at large and a desire not to turn out like his Chuni-father Bro really went a 360° and copied ,nay surpassed his dad. A plot reboot at this late in the game tells you Kinugasa has gotten out of content to write the story with and has lost any sense of direction of where it should head towards
Year 3 and bro wastes 2.5 Volumes in setting things up, considering the pacing of COTE, no matter how good the ending of this novel is, everything from here on out will be rushed
There's no fun in that and he has made it somewhat clear that Year 3 also has 15 books and there's no indication of a College Year 1 or any sort of followup. What a waste of reader's time and energy in picking up these books
When authors play around with the plot like it doesn't matter, it really creams my corn
Sticking with this sh*t till the end because it's not my policy to drop things i have invented time into
The increasing influence of one-sided romantic feelings is starting to piss me off. I signed up to read about tactical victories, not some high school harem. If I weren't listening to the audiobook I would likely find it impossible to keep track of all of the characters. Luckily their distinct voices help to jog my memory (I am forever impressed by Zion Jang's handling of such an extensive and ever growing cast). I was very much looking forward to the effects of the class transfer, but I didn't realize how much time we would be spending in other characters' perspectives. This felt more like a 0.5 novel than a proper novel. I remain interested in seeing how the school year will shape up now that he will no longer hide his true potential. Not to mention the supposed battle between him and Koenji...
The third year has started, Ajanokouji jusst transferred into class C, substituting sakayanagi as class leader. We immediatly go into conflict, with class C, with his former Class, now Class A, with Horikita, with Kei, it iss truly dynamic. We also immediatly get a special exam and interactions of characters who we have not seen interact before. all in all this book keeps a good pace and iss absolute cinema.

If Horikita doesn’t get a grip right this instant, god help me. Also, Ayanokoji’s poker face must be crazy effective because it’s astonishing how many characters genuinely cannot get a grasp of him as a person. Ryuuen, Horikita, his former classmates. Not Morishita though, that’s my goat.
The plot jumped to another level it's breathtaking. The level of thrilling and attraction to the story is unimaginable. Can't wait for the second volume!
