A really well-done uncovering of forgotten history, written in an approachable and vibrant voice. I'm sure readers who are more immersed in the world of law will get more out of this, bu the authro does a good job bringing it down to a layman's level.

This book is the kipper's knickers! (As you'll learn in the book, that's 1920s slang for something excellent). The book discusses early women lawyers at the S.D.N.Y. U.S.A.O. and brings attention to an overlooked group of lawyers who made significant contributions not only to that office but in legal history. It's inspirational for all prosecutors and other government lawyers, and especially for women attorneys. It's also a fun read with personality and interesting facts. No applesauce! (You'll learn that's slang for bulls**t).
