I really appreciated the real-world knowledge Rex Flint wove into this story. Blending that authenticity with elements of folklore and cutting-edge technology makes for a gripping, well-rounded thriller.
The main character, a former soldier discharged for standing up for what’s right, is pulled back into action with a covert agency that feels like a modern-day A-Team. Each teammate brings unique skills to the table, and together they form a unit you can’t help but root for.
The story is packed with twists, relentless action, and just enough unsettling moments to keep you turning pages late into the night. Shadow Sentinel is a smart, high-stakes ride that doesn’t let up.

A good mix of sci-fi and thriller. The plot is fast-paced and is interesting because of the mix of local folklore and genetic engineering. The characters are well-developed.
