A refreshing and original take on concepts we are all familiar with, blended together for the first time I'm aware of, and in a believeable and consistent fashion. Complete with more than a few exciting revelations and a handful of twists that really enrich an experience one might think will be straight-forward at first blush. Its a compelling sci-fi jaunt that asks enough questions and leaves enough unanswered to keep you guessing and turning the page. The character dynamics are rich, even if the interactions are spartan and realistic - no small feat to make you feel for these people in the quiet scenes they do get amongst the tension and excitement. From the swaggering Crab pilots to the noble depths of water processing and back, a fun and compelling ride for an evening or a long flight.

Blending the likes of Top gun, knights of sidonia, dead space, and more.

Stands above many of it's contemporaries in the short-form sci-fi space. Certainly feels more sincere and enthusiastic, and while using concepts found in other works, does not ape any of them.
