5 HOWLING MONKEYS STARS!
Oh the culmination of human possibilities! I loved this!
I love it when I find a book that so unexpectedly turns out to be fucking awesome! I swear it makes me giddy!
This is my first book by Lauren Rowe and
We have Jonas Faraday (love that name) he was a cocky bastard asshole son of a bitch motherfucker with so called sad eyes and luscious lips, who doesn't have an ounce of humility or charity in his body and I loved him! Sarah was hilarious (I love funny books) and both main characters were well developed and believable. From their computers all the way to the rain forest their connection was intense and honest. From the very first page all the way to the end I was hooked on this book. There was just enough and not too much hot sex, the storyline was good and kept me interesting thru out the whole thing. The cliffhanger was kind of a turn in the storyline and I cant wait to see what happens next!
I did this on audio version and the narration was awesome!

If Fifty Shades of Grey, Night Owl & Wallbanger had a love child it would be this book.
THE CLUB has elements that remind me of those three books. Like Christian Grey the hero in this book is an uber rich business man who is totally infatuated with a college girl. Similar to Fifty Shades it is a trilogy. The couple in The Club sort of meet like the couple in Night Owl - via emails. Just like in Night Owl the intrigue to meet the person behind the emails drives them to search out each other. And finally like the girl in Wallbanger the heroine has the unattainable “O.”
Even though those elements were part of this book - The Club has it’s own story that carries it forward. I won the audio of this trilogy and figured it was about MMA fighting. I came to that conclusion from the cover and the title but I was surprised to find out it was about a different type of club. A sex club. Jonas sends in his application for a year-long membership into this club. His intake agent, Sarah, takes an interest in him while reading his application. The special message he added to the application directed to the intake agent piques her curiosity.
By the end of the story we’ve learned some interesting info about The Club that has me glad I have second book. I need to find out what is going to happen to these two plus some side characters.

I just found learned there will be a fourth book. From the author:

“At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet.”After reading the Morgan Brothers series, I was super excited to know that both of the Faraday brothers got their own series. I loved getting the start of Jonah and Sarah’s story. It wasn’t what I expected at all but I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to see where things go from here! On to the next one...

The book starts in a playful, smart and sexy way and I loved the first half of it. Really really loved it!
Jonas applies for a membership in a Dating Club where he will seek partners who do not look for attachments. It will be pleasure-based meetings only. And that's how Jonas prefers it. And like every man who only prefers to have sex and stays away from relationships that involve love, Jonas also has a sad story that has left him scarred and afraid of loving again.
In his application, Jonas adds a personal note to the “Intake Agent” who will consider his application but he never expects the answer she sends to him from a personal e-mail account.
Her e-mail is everything! She is a woman who has never had an orgasm and she explains it in a fun way in her e-mail and Jonas is instantly obsessed about meeting her and giving her all the pleasure she needs. And from then on, his life mission becomes finding HER!
This part of the book was awesome. Their e-mail communications, then their telephone conversations and then their first meeting in person were all highlights of the book.
However, unfortunately, after they meet in person, everything starts to go down and I began to lose interest in their relationship. It gets more and more boring, repetitive and weird. The passion and sexual tension that was very well-built before they meet dies so very quickly. I couldn’t find what I was hoping for in the second half of the book. I got bored by all the philosophical BS, as well.
And if a man took me on holiday to a place where Jonas took Sarah and tried to make me do the things he made her do (dangerous adventures in a jungle, nothing else :), I would leave him there and get on the first plane I could find! All that hiking, jumping, climbing, trying to find their way in a pitch-black dark cave etc. had a philosophical worth for him but it was all nonsense and a big NO for me. Well, not every woman is suitable for dangerous missions in a jungle and I am one of those women who are scared of the Wild. It was interesting that Sarah tried to do all of the things he planned for them and still had the energy to have sex when they came to their hotel - whoops, no hotel, their tree-house in the jungle!
Towards the end of the book, the story starts to involve some suspense which will apparently be about the dirty jobs of The Club. All the more boring for me!

The book is in dual point of view. Jonas's chapters are much better than Sarah's :)
The book is not totally safe. Jonas has sex with a club member while he is fantasizing about the intake agent he is obsessed with. He is sad because she refuses to meet him. He regrets it a lot, though, after he has done it.
And what is interesting is, Sarah is turned on by it when she learns that he fantasized about her while he was having sex with another woman. To each their own, I guess!
After they meet in person, there is no more OW/OM so it is safe after they meet.

If the book continued as successfully as it started and if the second half were as good as the first part, I would give it 5 stars but now I will rate it as follows:
1st half: 5 stars
2nd half: 2 stars
Average: 3,5 stars (but not 4)

That was the worst case of insta-love I believe I have ever come across. If not the worst then definitely in the top 10s. I mean he basically fell in love with her through an email. One freaking email. And her? She fell for him through a questionnaire. He had no idea she would be the one to read the questionnaire, so it wasn't intentional. But what happens? She fell in love by reading the questionnaire. And this was all during the beginning of the book. I mean, come on!
Then on top of that, what else drove me insane was the run on sentences. Such as...
"I don’t want Stacy.
Or Marissa. Or Caitlyn. Or Julie. Or Samantha or Emily or Maddie or Kristin or Lauren or Rachel or Bethanney or Natalie or Darcy or Michelle or Charlotte or Grace or Katie or Shannon or Juliana or Tiffany or Andrea or Melanie or Hannah.
My chest constricts. The truth is dawning on me as the hot water pelts me.
I want Sarah."
But let's not forget the rambling. The never ending rambling. That went on and on. Seriously, I got it the first time. Not to mention the sex in this book was...
This story started out well with chapter 1 then continued to decline. I had high hopes for this one too. Oh, well.....

I did not expect the journey to orgasm takes 11 hours long, plus with a trip to the jungle. Anyway, I am surprise to like The Club:Obsession. The hide and seek in the beginning really got my attention. Especially Jonah. He is a MAN!
I also like Sarah. She is smart and sassy. Both Jonah and Sarah have family issue growing up. Sarah is skeptic that someone like Jonah can really be intersted in her. It will be interesting to see how their story continues in the next book.

That was a pleasant surprise!
This book was so beautiful , different and heart-melting !
I want to kick myself because I haven't read it earlier!
I LOVED the insta-love, the passion between the hero and heroine, the secrest (which they revealed eventually), the sweet moments ( they were manyyyy..) and their adventures together!
They were born to be together!
Soulmates in the purest way!
The humor in this book was awesomeeeee ! They were both so funny, so filthy, so adorable and animalisticly (if that's even a WORD) sexy!

Aunque el punto de partida es interesante, me ha superado el protagonista, Jonas. No puedo con él, no puedo con sus parrafadas pseudofilosoficas ni con su lenguaje guarro nada sexi, ni con sus tonterías de master del Universo y precursor de la gran O. Todo me parece impostado y poco real, pero reconozco que me ganó un poco con su peculiar uso del abecedario y la música (muy buena selección, por cierto).

This book hooked me from the very beginning! It was that good! I’ve never read anything quite like this book before. I’ve read a lot of erotic romance involving sex clubs or ones that mention them, but this isn’t like all the others. When completing his application to The Club, Jonas Faraday decides he will be brutally honest with what he wants and what he needs. Just like the application says. In doing so, he also decides to send a little note to the agent processing his application. He figures that it must be a woman, so why not give her a little bit of a tease. What he doesn’t expect is that she will write him back and turn his world on its head.
Jonas Faraday is a man on a mission. I repeat. He is a man on a mission! He will not stop until he finds his beautiful intake agent and give her everything that she’s been missing. Once he’s done, he thinks that he’ll move on to the next woman like he always does. Except Sarah is different from any other woman that he has ever met before. She is not afraid of his honesty, nor does it turn her off. In fact, it seems to get her hot and bothered. He is determined to learn all that he can about her because he has become obsessed with this woman. Obsessed with fulfilling all her desires and obsessed with quenching his thirst for her.
I absolutely loved these characters. Reading Sarah’s words was like Lauren had written that character just for me. I was Sarah. She was the epitome of every woman who has ever searched for love and never found satisfaction. Her thoughts and fears were exactly what I would think and say if I were in her situation. She was just so real. So raw. So curious. Her inner strength shone forth in the best of ways. While she believed in love and romance and wanted the happily ever after, she also had her doubts and fears like the rest of us. Especially with Jonas. I mean, how could a man like him want to be with a woman like her for more than a night, right?
Jonas was unbelievably sexy and passionate in every way. He was himself and completely honest with Sarah about everything. He started out extremely cocky, but grew into a lovable damaged man. Over the course of their discussions, he knew that he needed to know Sarah and he needed to be with her. He was dying for a taste of her. To know what she looked like in that moment when she experienced pure bliss. To know who she was and what made her tick. What he didn’t expect was that he would experience something deeper than he had ever felt before. That there was a woman out there who could accept him and burrow her way into his heart.
This was an unconventional love story with some mystery, and passion like you would not believe. So hot and steamy you better make sure that you are reading this in the privacy of your own home. Definitely NSFW! While there was a lot of sex and sexual talk in this book, and boy does it make you HOT, there was a beautiful story woven in there that really captivates the reader. What I find most interesting in these types of stories is the who and the why. I like to know the back story that makes the characters the way that they are. This book did not miss a thing. I was left wanting more in the best way possible. This book is part of a series so there will be a lot more for us to learn, and I simply cannot wait. I am dying to know what happens with The Club, and how that will impact Jonas and Sarah’s lives. I have my ideas, but I will not share.

This book hooked me from the very beginning! It was that good! I’ve never read anything quite like this book before. I’ve read a lot of erotic romance involving sex clubs or ones that mention them, but this isn’t like all the others. When completing his application to The Club, Jonas Faraday decides he will be brutally honest with what he wants and what he needs. Just like the application says. In doing so, he also decides to send a little note to the agent processing his application. He figures that it must be a woman, so why not give her a little bit of a tease. What he doesn’t expect is that she will write him back and turn his world on its head.
Jonas Faraday is a man on a mission. I repeat. He is a man on a mission! He will not stop until he finds his beautiful intake agent and give her everything that she’s been missing. Once he’s done, he thinks that he’ll move on to the next woman like he always does. Except Sarah is different from any other woman that he has ever met before. She is not afraid of his honesty, nor does it turn her off. In fact, it seems to get her hot and bothered. He is determined to learn all that he can about her because he has become obsessed with this woman. Obsessed with fulfilling all her desires and obsessed with quenching his thirst for her.

Ok so so when I saw the name I figured BDSM, I've got no issues with BDSM so I dived in. At the end I'm not sure how I feel about this book, the latter half Jonas was my kinda guy but the beginning man, the beginning.............
Jonas is a manwhore the likes of which I don't think I've ever read, he loves making a woman come and his great epiphany came when one of his hookups faked it. He of course called her back for seconds just to make her come but really he's tired of women and their expectations and possible hopes. His brother recommends the Club, where you're set up with a perfectly matched eoman/women as often as you please for a small sum of $30,000 monthly or $250,000 annually. Of course he pays for the year. He goes online and fulls out the form in explicit...... I mean EXPLICIT detail. Then he fires off a hot message to his intake agent. To his surprise she messages him back confessing she's never had an orgasm. He's captivated and they start emailing each other.( I skimmed chapters of this) Eventually that's not enough for Jonas but no matter how much ne pleads his intake agent refuses to give him her name or number. He enlists his brother's help and tries to track her down. They have an incredible connection and he wants more. However Sarah shuts him down and deletes the email address. Jonas then goes to his club assigned hookup, unbeknownst to him Sarah is there and sees him with the woman, he doesn't want too but he actually does have sex with the woman. The details grossed me out especially as he wasn't into it and when he licked her pussy I thought I'd puke. Next day he still can't get Sarah off his mind and tracks her down, pretty soon these 2 are dating and agree to be together for one month during which he'll help her have an orgasm. Then Sarah goes out with her friend and sees Jonas' hookup with another man. Eventually they realize that the Club is actually is fancy whorehouse and Jonas had sex with a prostitute. His reaction again is gag worthy as he's shocked and disgusted that he licked a whore's pussy(ewwwwwww) When Jonas and Sarah return from vacation all loved up it's to discover that the club has retaliated and Sarah and her roommate's apartment has been trashed. An "Okay" Story
I had a really hard time getting into this story. For starters, I went back and forth between reading the Kindle version and listening to the audiobook version and the male narrator was horrible! As a character, Jonas was pretty unappealing right from the start. I can't say that it was his arrogance or his man-whorish ways, since I love many a bad-boy Alpha with these traits. Nope. He just didn't do it for me at first.
As the book progressed, Jonas gained some appeal. However, by the end of the book I still can't say that I felt more than lukewarm, at most. Sarah was spunky and intelligent. I liked her just fine, but neither of the main characters were compelling enough to leave me craving more.
There were a few feisty exchanges, but otherwise, the book lacked emotion for me. To me, it felt very clinical and impersonal until the very end. The last few chapters were more entertaining, but not enough to make me want to continue the series. I wanted to love this one, but it just didn't work out that way.

So much so, she decides to respond to the cocky-bastard-asshole-son-of-a-bitch-mofo.
It took me a little time to warm to Jonas, as he was just so cocky and conceited when we first meet him. Sarah is antagonised by him straight away, and her responses to him are quite satirical and very funny.
Their story develops well, and I enjoyed the pace. The authors musings around the dialogue were well explained, if not a little over egged at points. On the whole, I enjoyed their monkey-sexed filled journey towards each other, even the underlying cheese.

Okay, I’m not going to lie so the first 30% of this book I was thinking “What have I got myself into!!”
Then it really started taking off & making sense and wasn’t so repetitive. I don’t like unnecessary wordiness and that is how the first part of this book was for me. Don’t get me wrong it is HOT beyond belief and very insta-love. But the first 30% is just not really executed right.
I really liked this concept and it’s different from other books I have read. It is really nothing like 50 Shades to me, although I saw some reviews that made mention of that.
Sarah is an Intake Agent who processes applications for an exclusive club. This is her part time job while putting herself through school. She is processing her first application all by herself and it just happens to be one for an arrogant asshole named Jonas Faraday………..although Jonas is a cocky bastard he knows how to write a panty melting personal message to his Intake Agent. Add wine into the mix with the erotic message and Sarah is feeling pretty bold herself.
Jonas never imagined that the intake agent would respond to his message. Her message is so alluring, he couldn’t resist tracking her down. With the means to do so he takes stalking to a whole new level.
As crazy as this is it also had very sweet parts. This book has much more to it then I could have ever imagined and I am really excited to read the next book since it is definitely one that you have to go onto the next one in the series.

The premise of the book was interesting but it just doesn't work for me. The whole insta-love thing. The Hero's desperation and the heroine's trust issues just aren't worth my time. My madness would be complete if I went through all four books. I was psyched to read this but alas I've stopped at page 162.

Yer yer fazla uzamış geldi, güven sorunları bazı yerlerde göz devirmeme sebep oldu ama o benim hastalığımdan dolayı beynime oksijen gitmemesinden de kaynaklı olabilir

This was brilliant why am I only reading this book now. I really want to slap myself. I was hooked from the very start of this book. Jonas is one sexy dude he had me at the first line of the first chapter. He is so broody totally different to his twin brother. But I like it a lot, there is just something about him. He works hard and plays harder. He doesnt have plans to ever settle down. He like his life to much to do the whole Valentine's day and trips to Ikea (His words not mean). So The Club is the ideal place for him. He just didn't know that after is lil message to his intake agent that things were goin to be a lot different for Mr Faraday.
Sarah is a hard working girl. She is learning law and is nearly top of her class. She likes the simple life goes out with her best friend Kat works as an agent for The Club that is good money life is ok. Men are not really on her radar at the min. She has had a few boyfriend but nothing that has told her he's the one. Plus her sexual activity isn't anything to talk about. She has never had the big O. So when she reads the new client for The Club and his is goin on about giving the woman he with a good time and he can give the biggest O of well and life she just sits there and laughs. What the hell is this guy on right. Until she reads his final message and HOLY SHIT. She has never been so turn on by a message. She started to think this guy might have the moves or his he all talk she will just have to find out.
I couldn't get enough of this book its just so good. I liked how the story played out and then at the end bang things started to get real and things aren't has they seem. Jonas and Sarah ccharacters are just smoking together. I mite of needed a cold shower myself in parts. This author really knows how to write a great bit of sexy time. I really liked seeing the change In Jonas throughout this book. He went from not a chance of a relationship to god I can't live without this woman. They both have there own hangs up that get in the way of things goin smooth but that's all part of it. They both feeling at times like there not good enough for each other they just need to work out there issues which isn't easy. I really cant wait fir more of this series and more of Jonas. I would highly recommend this book.

They both have there own hangs up that get in the way of things goin smooth but that's all part of it. They both feeling at times like there not good enough for each other they just need to work out there issues which isn't easy. I really cant wait fir more of this series and more of Jonas. I would highly recommend this book.

I would just like to know where I (and my beloved Maltese Kiki) can sign up to become a member of the Jonas Faraday club.
This is a book that literally pulled me into the story from the first page, and trust when I say that I was pretty pissed off when real life had the nerve to interrupt while I was immersed in the story.
First, I love the way the characters are written, along with their dialogue. It's all very real and down to earth, just like normal people speak everyday, and that to me makes a story much more fun to read. It's easy to visualize the characters talking as if they're sitting next to you because the dialogue flows so well. None of that stiff way of speaking like if you're being interviewed. Not only that, Jonas and Sarah will readily admit that they have flaws and aren't perfect, which is a breath of fresh air (at least to me anyway. Who wants to read about couples who are always so perfect and never have morning breath?)
There is no denying the chemistry between Jonas and Sarah. But there is more to them than just bumping uglies doing the horizontal tango; hell, Jonas halfway fell in love with Sarah just from her email response before they even actually met. Behind the sad, melancholy eyes of Jonas is a man who is destined to become one of the best book boyfriends in the history of foreverness. No BS, wait until you read the reason why he took her to Belize. I mean dayum, makes ME want to swoon (and look at my husband with the hairy eyeball lol).
Now don't go thinking that these two characters are just perfect by themselves and even more awesome when they're together, because they both have issues from their pasts that have molded them into the characters we meet in this book. While Sarah's past was traumatizing, Jonas' childhood abruptly ended when he was seven years old with a devastating loss that he was unfortunate enough to have witnessed, and he believes it was all his fault.
There are a few hot sexy times in this book, but that's not all it's about, we actually get a bit of a discovery as well as revenge for said discovery, that leaves us with a cliffhanger. But luckily we don't have to wait that long to get the next book!

Started out every good.
Jonas Faraday wants in the club known for its clandestine clientele and activities. Quarter of a million dollar later he is contacted by his recruit host and a very odd thing happens. She takes it upon herself to engage in a sexual guilt shaming banter, which is odd considering her job is at stake.
Anyway Jonas is intrigued and stalks her online till he manages to contact her, spooking her outright.
But they start a secret affair, sans sex. She hasn't had an orgasm ever and that becomes Jonas's single point agenda from then on.
From city to jungle in Belize, from mind blowing sex to Tangled feelings, the story deviates and reroutes to newer avenues.
End comes to a screeching halt when The Club shows its fangs!!

You know how you stumble across a book and just find a gem that you completely fall in love with?!!! I had no idea what I was getting into when I started The Club. After receiving a recommendation from a friend, I dove in and I couldn't put it down!!! Lauren blew me away with this story and I need more! I can't wait for the next book!!
Jonas Faraday doesn't do relationships, attachments and never wants more than one night. He is a GOD in bed and makes every woman scream his name. After hearing about "The Club" from his brother, he decides to quench his sexual appetite and contact them. He wants a wide array of women to fill his every need. The Club is a no strings attached service where you check in and have a romp with someone who is compatible to you. He fills out his application not realizing that his "Beautiful Intake Agent" will rock his world.
Sarah Cruz is a law student trying to earn enough money to get through school. She is a part time intake agent for "The Club" where she sorts through applications from men looking for a woman who will fill his every desire. Sometimes these men want hot sex, sometimes they want love. All Sarah has to do is delve into their backgrounds and make sure they are who they say they are. When Sarah receives Jonas's application along with his personal note at the end, little does she know her world is about to change.
The begin to communicate through email and let me just say that the sparks flew from their very first conversation. What surprised me most about this story was that it wasn't just a tale of two people meeting and having mind blowing sex. We learn all about Jonas's past and why he is the way he is. Yes, he has his "assholey" ways, but he is so much deeper than that. He finds that Sarah is so much more than what he thought he wanted. They share an amazing connection and you are routing for them throughout the whole book. Sarah is hilarious, smart and completely taken by Jonas. She's never had her heart captured before and she fears that it will be completely shattered when Jonas decides he's had his fill of her.
What I wouldn't give to get my hands on Jonas. He is total Book Boyfriend material. I closed my eyes and literally imagined him speaking to me, and I just melted. God he is pure sexcellence!!!
The Club is hot, steamy, angsty and Jonas is totally swoonworthy!! The next installment will be in our hands very soon and I am itching to dive in! Go one click!!! LOVED IT!!!!

When I started this book, I wasn't expecting much. It just seemed like such a meh plot but first page in

I was hooked from the first page and I'm not even going to deny it

I WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN SCREAMING
THATS WHERE IT ALL STARTED AND I AM IN LOVE.
I don't think I can think of anything I didn't like about this book besides the fact that they fell in love too fast... but hey, I'd rather have feelings out in the open instead of miscommunication and have a whole book about how they aren't talking to each other about how they feel cause THAT pisses me off

Chi non sogna una fine settimana all'Ikea, tornare a casa e trovare la casa invasa da fiori, palloncini, biglietti di Hallmark appena svegli e un pacchetto di Oreo in cucina? Se poi a regalarci tutto questo fosse Jonas Faraday, il candidato all'apparenza non perfetto per un vissero felici e contenti con i fiocchi, ma che pagina dopo pagina conquisterà noi lettrici e la bella e intelligente Sarah Cruz? Questo è The Club , Insieme per gioco, pubblicato da Newton. Un romanzo fresco, mai volgare, che riuscirà a coinvolgervi cuore e testa; una storia che magari non è nuova, ma grazie all'ironia della Rowe, la follia di Jonas, e l'intelligenza pungente di Sarah vi scalderà i cuori. Non vedo l'ora di leggere gli altri due capitoli della storia, anche se io sono già entrata nel Jonas Faraday Fan Club con questo primo libro!
