All Seth wants is a Christmas Eve to remember, with the man he loves. When Dom invites him to Paris, his dreams are about to come true. But the man waiting in the apartment they are to stay at changes the course of the trip. To Seth’s surprise, religion is a bigger issue for Dom than he’d thought, and it’s on a collision course with Seth’s atheism.

Their first Christmas together might end up memorable for all the wrong reasons.

My! Loved this shortie so much. 💙 Seth and Dom going to Paris for Christmas Eve? 😱 What can be better than that? 😍 But knowing our heroes, it’s not really a surprise when things went south fast and these two guys acting like sulking, petulant children. 😂 It was both cute and frustrating. But of course, they are hot-blooded Sicilian men. They get angry fast and they reconciled even faster than that, of course, with a smoking-hot angry make-up sex. 😉 So good. Such a perfect little companion for the stories of our favorite couple. 😌

This is a short read about Seth and Dom spending Christmas together in Paris. It takes place in the same time period as book 2.

I’m not sure what to say about this one. It started out cute and it ended cute as well. They were being very gentle and romantic together, but they were also their typical hot-headed and intense selves.

The middle was definitely a bit dramatic considering it had a big fight between the two of them. Seth was completely in the right of course, so I was a little shocked to see how intensely Dom reacted to the fight. It really pissed me off when Dom said he wanted to break up, so I was glad to see him not long after, drunk off his arse, obviously not intending to truly leave Seth at all. But still… the fact that he apparently thought about it rubbed me the wrong way. It made this short story not very fun to read, and I would have rather skipped it altogether.

It's a short story (40 pages) of how Domineco takes Seth to Paris for Christmas and they're going to stay in an apartment that Domenico got. It turns out that the apartment belongs to his ex and that he is at home. Oh yeah babies, drama. 😈
This time we see Seth being jealous and with my brain off I had fun. It was hilarious. Need more of this in the next book, please. 😩

I was about to start book three, but thankfully I double checked or I would've missed this novella.

This was a peek into their time in Paris after book one and before the events at the end of book two. I loved that we got to see them being sweet with one another and also being their hot-headed selves.

Religion is always a topic that can cause major disagreement among people, and I can imagine even more between a couple. Especially if you're on opposite ends of the spectrum regarding religiosity or lack of it. I did laugh when Seth apologized, stating how he's not normally that psychotic to Dom's ex.

I think Seth's outburst reaffirmed his fear of losing Dom and how much he has already fallen for him. It also shows how Dom really does care for and loves Seth if he's willing to part with an item so important to him. I loved seeing the tender and sweet side of them once things settled. Honestly, I'm getting too attached to these boys.

Overall it was a lovely novella and I can't wait to start the next book.

I enjoyed this short story with my new favorite couple! We get a glimpse to their trip to Paris, in the Christmas time. It should have been so romantic, BUT when it comes to them, nothing works as planned. Right? But I will admit I liked reading about their struggles to function together.

Seth surprised me a lot. He was so jealous and also very insecure, and his words were unexpectedly harsh. Their relationship really is challenging for both of them.

The only reason I am not rating it with 5 stars is because I started reading it right after Guns n' Boys: He Is Mine. I still had my stomach in knots and I think I couldn't quite adapt to read about their vacation in Paris immediately after the craziness at the end of the second book.

The moment I finished this one I jumped right into Guns n' Boys: Homicidal Instinct.

Great addition to the Guns n’ Boys Series.

This one is short but full of the beautiful dissonances that make this love story a weird and brilliant piece of work.
Dom and his peculiar relationship with God (and with some Priests *snort*), Seth seeing red because of Domenico’s ex, and their emotions running high were the most remarkable things in this quickie.

Kat and Agnes have a gift. Their capacity to write surreal but funny situations amazes me every time. And that ability is extraordinary because the funny is FUNNY and the surreal, deliciously eccentric.

"It just couldn’t be a nice Christmas meal in a lovely French restaurant, could it?" *laughs* of course not, Seth, who do you think you’re dating! But Dom can give you the best thing ever: fireworks. Colorful fireworks.



Or a human ear or stuff like that. Super romantic.

Undoubtedly recommended! and I’ll keep going with book 3, Guns n' Boys: Homicidal Instinct

This was just a fun side trip that gives the reader a peek into what happened in Paris when Dom took Seth there for Christmas. I'm not sure it was essential to the overall story but it certainly was fun and I liked it.

It was worth the read just for the scene where they showed up at their accommodations to be met by Dom's ex (and yes if you want to know more you'll need to read the story and yes you do want to know more really you do) and then there was the make-up sex in a most enlightening locale, followed by a bit of skating and did I mention Dom doesn't skate? And ending with a trip to the market where Dom uses his considerable charm to assist a young man in rethinking his current employment choices. Yep, just one little bundle of holiday fun in Paris. Now I'm ready to move on to book 3 Homicidal Instincts even the title sounds promising...yeah, let's go with promising.

4 stars for this hot glimpse at an undoubtly very memorable Christmas Eve for Seth and Dom!

I loved revisiting one of my favorite m/m couples - Dom and Seth. The dynamics between them are incredibly intriguing and this short story was just another great example for their crazy relationship.

Guns n' Boys: Paris can be considered an outtake of Dom's and Seth's visit to Paris at about 60 % of the first book in the series. Getting the details about theit stay in the capitale of Love couldn't have been better.

An unwanted encouter with a person from Dom's past sets Seth's temper on fire.

Jealous and incredibly angry, Seth isn't about to let the issue go.

Everybody who knows Seth and Dom knows how this might end.

Great cover with a slight hint at the place of another great sexual encouter between Dom and Seth.

Not necessary for the story in itself, this short outtake is still very enjoyable and it makes me look forward to reading the next part of the series!

I'm a bit confused about when did their little side trip to Paris took place. I know is during Christmas, duh. From what I read in #1.2, Dom planned the Paris getaway, but it didn't actually happened and then all hell break loose. So I guess this is a alternate reality or deleted scene?

Anyway, I love every moment with these guys and Christmas in Paris? What can be more romantic than that?

Seth and Dom always have the most outrageous argument and their angst are simply too delicious because they tend to end up with some seriously hot make up sex. And this time Seth and Dom having a go at their difference in religious belief. For those who are sensitive towards this issue, proceed with caution!

"What's wrong with you? You fucking kill people! And now you pretend you have some personal connection with God? Or did that personal connection come from an anal connection with Mr. Priest, huh?" ~ Seth

In this short story, Domenico and Seth travel to Paris to celebrate Christmas with both wanting a respite from their family situation. Shortly after Seth’s arrival, he is quite surprised by a revelation of Dom’s past and Seth’s anger explodes. What starts as a jealous and insecure rage turns into a deeper issue that could tear apart Dom and Seth. Even though they are on rocky ground, Dom and Seth are devoted to each other and try to move forward with respecting their beliefs and needs. Ultimately, meeting each other halfway becomes so satisfyingly hot.

“Domenico shuddered in his arms, and Seth’s fingers got a coating of warm sperm. Seth slipped the tip of his tongue between Dom’s lips and gums and licked along the hot, throbbing flesh.”

For a novella, it captured the essence of these characters and tackled a major element of a relationship. Of course, the steam and sexual chemistry is off the charts. Plus, finding out about Dom’s ex-boyfriend led to all sorts of blasphemous fantasy scenarios. Lol.

Whether you plan to read in sequence or read later when a Domenico and Seth fix is needed, this one will not disappoint.

Seth gets jealous and acts like an idiot, Dom get angry and leaves Seth, Seth finds Dom and grovels, Dom gets drunk, Dom blows Seth, Dom gets into a fight, Seth and Dom say some ridiculously sweet stuff!

“I just need you with me,” whispered Domenico drunkenly.
It was so sweet Seth was at loss for words. He wrapped his arms around Dom’s neck and kissed him again, opening up Dom’s lips with his tongue and deepening their connection.

A quick 12000 word story about Dom and Seth going to Paris, which we hear about them going to do in the middle of book two, but don't get to see.

Which is fine, because this quick story would have dragged out book two, made it too long, and would have been unnecessary. But as a separate short story it works.

Hard to go from the end of book 2 to this, to when they're mostly happy. I mean there's a big fight, but when don't these two idiots fight ;P.

Dom takes Seth to Paris, but unfortunately he takes him to his exes apartment (the guy in book 1 who Dom mentions as the one guy he tried to have a relationship with) without telling Seth, and the ex happens to be there (when Dom thought he wouldn't be).

We saw Dom get insanely jealous in book 2, but not much of Seth getting jealous, but we got it in this little short, which was nice. Seth got insecure and took it out on Dom, basically - in the form of going after his religion. Seth really didn't think that badly about it.

But it leads to the first day in Paris not going as planned. But these two eventually meet up and make up and even manage a bit of hot sexytimes too. And some iceskating. And a few other things.

Overall this was a fun, quick read. Now onto the angst that will most likely be book #3.

Who doesn’t swoon at the thought of a cold and snowy Christmas in Paris with the one you love?! The smell and feel of the Parisian Christmas markets. Well, we could definitely smell the mulled wine and feel the romance of Paris at Christmas as KA Merikan once again wowed us with their brilliant atmospheric writing.

We love Seth and Dom, so to spend some time with them no matter how short is always special; they make us swoon, laugh and give us the shivers. Seth our lovable sweetheart whose childlike excitement melted our hearts in this novella. Once more he showing his petulant side borne from jealousy and a religious clash with Dom. And Dom, our arrogant and wicked lovable rogue whose strong beliefs and tactless action caused such friction and despair.

‘How would he live his life after experiencing that soul-ripping storm?’

Christmas is almost ruined as a result of a thoughtless decision, possessiveness and stroppy jealousy. But Christmas has a magical touch and our lads have huge lovable hearts. So Christmas in Paris was passionate, emotional and sexy. What a treat!

“Open your jacket.”

“What for? You wanna carve my heart out? Too late anyway.”

I love the rough and tumble of these guys. They can be so sweet and love sick with each other one moment and slapping each other round the chops the next! This short was absolutely packed full, I loved seeing them in Paris at Christmas time with the snow, very atmospheric.

Sweet sweet Christmas goodness. This story takes place during Book 1, Part 2 at about 60% or so.

Seth discovers just how important religion is to Dom. But they get past that bit of a speed bump and enjoy Paris.
