DNF Chapter 1
❗️Spoilers Below❗️

📌 Chapter one opens up with an on-page descriptive scene of the MMC and his brother having a threesome with a club girl. And just a few pages later we find out that another girl, that the brothers like to share, has just given birth and one of them is the father. Safe to say this is not the book for me.

I'm really not sure what's happening with this author and this series, but it's getting worse. Not better. First of all, twin brothers tag teaming girls is kind of giving me the ick. It feels too incestuous for me, but you do you I guess. Also, everyone is extremely immature and always acting like horny teenagers. Nothing remotely mature about any of these characters. Don't get me wrong. I like my smut. But there has to be substance and plot to go with it. Which here is sex, sexual thoughts, sexual innuendos, wetness etc. I'm honestly stumped at what the author is trying to do here. As the plot goes. Because of these brother's whoring tag teaming ways they impregnated a lovely club girl. Just kidding. She's not. Paternity shows it's one of the brothers, but they don't want to know. They'll raise the little angel together so she grows up calling them both daddy. Imagine family dinners in the future. Yes, my dads' tag teamed my good for nothing mom, and here I am. 😑 Anyways, enter nurse "undersexed, horny all the time" Isla. Skull is smitten, but you know shit happens. Overall I'm not enjoying this series, and don't have confidence it'll get better. I was interested in Ghost's story, but I don't think it'll be all that great with what's come before. Very disappointed. Lastly, I found the h gross for trying to have both brothers. Which she got. It wasn't sexy and doesn't bode well if Bones get's his own book. Or ol' lady. Which the h doesn't want him to have. She says in the end that she hopes that if Bones finds his ol' lady she'll be ok with their arrangement. What the fuck does that suppose to mean? That Bone's woman better be ok with him fucking the skank Isla on the side? What was this? If you want to have the h have both brothers just do that instead. This book was gross on all levels and may stop me from reading any future books from this author.

When Skull finds out that he is a father, everything changes. He expects his twin brother to be by his side but what he doesn't plan on is Isla the nurse caring for his baby in the hospital. Torn with wanting Isla with a passion that is unraveled and not losing his brother in the process. Can their be a happy ending?

3.5 for me. While I liked this one, I felt like a big part of who Skull is and his brother Bones was not fully developed for me. Overall great story just was hoping for a bit more with the twins.

When we learned just what was coming for Skull, and by extension his twin brother Bones, at the end of the previous story, I was unsure if I was going to enjoy this story, being very much not a baby person at all. But I am thrilled to say that while obviously the new single father-abandoned baby trope was crucial to the plot, it was not the written in such a way that you were bogged down in reading it and left feeling preached to about the greatness of babies. Chantal Fernando certainly brings her humor, sexiness, and naughtiness to her characters, plot line and dialogue in this story and I enjoyed it immensely even as I was blown away with the way she managed to incorporate the relationship between the twins and make sure that Bones and Isla found a peace and love of their own. Skull has just learned that he and his twin are fathers and that the club girl who gave birth to their beautiful daughter has abandoned her, so he never imagined that the love of his life would walk into his daughter’s hospital room and blow his heart away. Isla is doing her rounds in the NICU and the sweet baby girl that was left by her mother has already captured her heart, but her sexy biker father is going to be trouble for sure. When he kisses her out of nowhere one night, both of them losing their minds, Isla runs away and does her best to forget the heat that he generates, especially when she learns he has a twin—in a very unconventional and embarrassing way. But Skull is determined to have Isla in his and his baby’s lives, even though it is causing all kinds of confusion because for the first time ever he isn’t willing to share. Can Skull and Bones come to a peaceful understanding, and will Isla truly give him a chance to earn her love or is she too scared because of past mistakes? Skull’s story was definitely one of the type of heartbreaking need for love and connection that makes you understand why some people never find love and fulfillment in a conventional sense, I loved watching as he slowly came to accept that Isla was it for him and while he loved his twin he couldn’t share his woman with his twin. His sexy troublemaking behavior and the way he fights for what he wants and then charms his way out of trouble made him the perfect hot biker daddy and I can’t wait to see more of him in future stories and seeing how long it takes before he’s got Isla knocked up (haha). Isla is obviously a quintessential caretaker, being a nurse, but she was by no means a pushover, fighting and pushing back when Skull and any of the other bikers were being aa$$holes. She is sweet and loving, to Skull, the baby and even to Bones once she understands the true bond the twins share, but she also stands up for herself, her needs, and what she will and won’t accept in the relationship and future she wants to build with them. I am really looking forward to the next in this series, and I hope that Ghost isn’t a heartbreaker before he gets his happy ending because I can already tell that is going to a truly rough read. Not sure how Chantal manages it repeatedly, but she always manages to build a story around the most unlikely of characters but in the end they find common ground and a love that bridges the gaps.

Thank you to Chantal Fernando for the ARC of Skull! I've been a fan since reading her Wind Dragon MC series and seeing more of her MC books is always a pleasure! I love how she's able to make her characters so likeable and down-to-earth that you're left on the edge of your seat wondering which brother will be getting their stories next.

This book is the fourth instalment in the Serpents of Chaos MC and we find ourselves following the story of Skull who is an enforcer for his MC. His brother Bones and himself find themselves in a predicament they never thought they would find themselves in so soon- a new father. Bones and Skull don't want to know who exactly the father is as they will be raising the baby together because they're twin brothers.

But in walks the pretty nurse Isla who reads a lot of romance books and Skull is smitten. Isla can't help but have eyes for Skull either but she knows how to throw him for a loop. Funny, feisty, filled with witty banter, and perfectly chaotic is the way to describe their dynamic. It had me devouring their story because I wanted to experience everything along with them.

Isla is about to break through the walls that Skull had along with the preconceived notions about how his life was supposed to be. But Skull is absolutely prepared for that and running head first into it.

This was a perfect addition to the Serpents of Chaos MC and I'm eagerly awaiting the next instalment!

Skull

Thank you Chantal Fernando for the Arc!

What can I say that I haven’t already about this series?! They are such a fun, fast paced read that has all the spice and alllllll the bad boy bikers. Need I say more?

I was really curious how this one was going to go with how Skull and Bones usually share women. I actually love how this played out. Isla is a perfect fit for Skull and is so sassy, all the Serpents instantly love her.

And as for Daisy??? She FINALLY had her happy ending 😏😏😏

I loved this book! Can’t wait for the next!

eh

My opinion only but this was the worst book in the series. For me it had really no story and it felt rushed and sloppy. The MFC was living out her book fantasy and the whole "relationship" went by so fast with no character growth. The whole daisy insert was quick. She runs over the MFC the gets caught, is dealt with. It was all to fast and rushed and the end was awful. Idk if I will read Ghost book because If this one is anything to go by yikes

This is my honest review for receiving an ARC copy of Skull, Book 4 in the Serpents of Chaos MC series by @authorchantalfernando

With each new book, I think Chantal can’t top the previous book and then she goes and proves me wrong every time!!

Skull and his identical twin brother, Bones share everything, including their Mechanic Shop and the Enforcer title with the Serpents of Chaos. Well they did share everything until Isla comes into their life. (Excluding that one night 😉)

This book was written for us audiobook girlies!!! You all know that fear of your audiobook connecting to your car stereo at the worst time…

Isla is a book girlie through and through and I loved every page of it!!

This was a quick read that was paced and plotted well! Unfortunately, Daisy is in this book at some point… IYKYK…

I loved seeing more character development for Ghost! He has really grown on me and I can’t wait for his book in June!

If you are looking for a great MC story with loyal to a fault men… this is one for you!!!

I had the incredible opportunity to beta-read Skull, and at this point, I think it’s safe to say I am absolutely obsessed with Chantal Fernando’s writing. She blends story and spice so brilliantly that you’re instantly hooked and completely pulled into the world she’s created.

The Serpents of Chaos series is my first motorcycle series, and I am head-over-heels obsessed! 😍 While I’ve loved every single book I’ve read by Chantal Fernando, Skull has absolutely stolen the top spot for me this year.

Skull and Isla’s dynamic is everything! Funny, feisty, filled with witty banter, and perfectly chaotic. I loved how their relationship started and evolved, the humor, the banter, and how Isla fit seamlessly into the motorcycle club world. I also loved the dynamics between the twins from book one and this story took on a fresh, different dynamic from their usual relationship, and it’s executed flawlessly.

Chantal Fernando masters every trope perfectly, and she doesn’t just tell a love story...she builds a world you fall into, characters you root for, and moments that make you laugh, swoon, blush, and cheer all at once. She’s one of my absolute favorite writers for this reason.

Her MMCs are absolutely unhinged yet somehow soft and cinnamon-roll swoon-worthy making every girl weak in the knees 😍🥺, and this book is the perfect mix of romance, spice, love, fierce female friendships, drama, chaos, and all the delightful unpredictability that comes with a motorcycle club, morally gray men, and wildly feisty women.

But this story is more than just bikers, it’s about found family, finding your place, having people who have your back, love, friendship, growth, and loyalty, all wrapped up in glorious chaos and written beautifully!

Every book in this series is packed with romance, spice, drama, laughter, swoons, and moments that make your heart ache and soar all at once.

Skull is easily one of my favorite books of hers this year, and I cannot wait to see what’s next in the series. If you haven’t picked up this book (or any of the Serpents of Chaos books) you absolutely need to!!

10/10! 😍😍😍😍

Thank you to the author for the opportunity to be an early reader. All thoughts, obsessions, and chaotic fangirling are 100% my own!

Chantal Fernando has never disappointed me, but **Skull** has firmly claimed its place as my standout read of the year. From the very first chapter, it grabbed hold and refused to let go.

Skull and Isla are pure magic together. Their connection crackles with sharp humor, bold energy, and a delicious kind of chaos that makes every interaction a joy to read. Watching their relationship unfold felt natural and exciting, and Isla’s seamless integration into the MC lifestyle made her impossible not to love. The shift in focus from the twin dynamic introduced earlier in the series brought a refreshing twist, offering something new while still staying true to the heart of the story—and it was executed beautifully.

Chantal Fernando has an incredible talent for creating more than just romances; she crafts immersive worlds filled with characters who feel real, flawed, and fiercely lovable. Her male leads are wild, morally gray, and intimidating on the surface, yet unexpectedly tender in ways that make them irresistible. This book delivers a perfect balance of passion, emotional depth, humor, friendship, drama, and the unpredictable energy that comes with club life and strong-willed women who refuse to be sidelined.

At its core, *Skull* is about belonging—chosen family, loyalty, growth, and finding people who stand beside you no matter what. It’s intense, heartfelt, and wildly entertaining all at once. Every installment in this series brings laughs, heat, emotional punches, and moments that linger long after the final page.

This novel easily ranks among my favorite Chantal Fernando reads this year, and I’m already counting down to what comes next. If you haven’t started *Serpents of Chaos* yet, consider this your sign—you’re seriously missing out. 🖤🔥

I waiting with greedy hands for this book and it did not disappoint. I was so intrigued to see what the dynamics would be given Skull and Bones love to share their toys.

Isla definitely got more than she bargained for when she turned upto work that day let me tell you. I loved her character.. not in your face mouthy (which I also love!) But someone who wasn't a push over. She was a woman who knew what she wanted, made her choices and didn't play victim to them later. She was level headed, smart, compassionate and sassy. Perfect really for Skull.

Skull and his brother are a pair but in this one Skull rode solo and it was interesting to see the differences between the brothers. Skull appearing the more series, stoic one. I mean he was hot as hell with all the spice but he was also very mindful, especially towards Isla and the his past. I loved that and I loved him being a daddy. There is something about a big badass who absolutely melts for his baby.

Their journey wasn't without it's bumps ut for the most part I felt like the teething was minimal and they just gelled naturally. I love that Natalia was always a priority and didn't get lost amongst their lust for one another. I love the teasing and the banter and I especially appreciated the adult conversations when they spoke to one another with respect and actually listened. Love me a couple who communicates.

As per.. the side characters are a wonder. I love all the chemistry between them and especially the relationship that develops between Bones and Isla. It's such a special thing.
It was a journey for sure and one i appreciated. Now I'm biting at the bit to get Bones story.. lord help the woman who takes him down because that party boy most definitely has some dark under his light.

If you're looking for a motorcycle romance that will make your heart race, Skull by Chantal Fernando is a must-read! It's the perfect blend of danger, passion, and heartwarming moments.

What makes this book so addictive?
• Skull, the perfect “red flag”: He's dark, possessive, and dangerous as the club's enforcer, but as a single dad to a newborn, he's totally endearing. This combination makes the character multidimensional and extremely intriguing.
• A nurse with character: The main character is no wallflower. Her instinct to “fix people” clashes with the brutal world of Serpents of Chaos, creating an explosive mixture. She is a strong woman who knows how to get her way.
• Double trouble: Skull's relationship with his twin brother, Bones, is one of the strongest points of the book. Their bond adds depth to the story and makes the world seem authentic and alive. Skull doesn't come alone. By choosing him, the heroine must accept his entire world, in which Bones is a constant presence. This is no ordinary brotherly relationship—it is loyalty taken to the extreme, where one would give his life for the other without batting an eye.

If you're looking for a romance that's intense, naughty, and dripping with testosterone, yet capable of tugging at your heartstrings, Skull will sweep you off your feet. It's a must-read for any reader who loves characters with scars – both on their bodies and on their souls.

Thanks to the author for sending me a copy of the book. This is my honest review.

You know how sometimes when you finish reading a book you just want nothing more than to go back into that world with those characters that you’re having so much fun with and just spend more time with them and see what craziness they get up to?
Yeah, that’s kind of the feeling that I was left with after I finished reading Skull.
I’d binge read the first three books in the series (I’d already read War previously but hadn’t read the other two releases) and had so much fun learning little things about all the MC characters as the books progressed that when it came time to read Skull, the fourth book in Chantal’s new Serpents of Chaos MC series that I was already thoroughly immersed in the world and eager to witness Skull’s romance story.
I think, Skull, is one of Chantal’s more sweeter stories. There wasn’t as much drama or MC tension as has been apparent in previous books, this book was focused more on the romance and relationship dynamics between Skull and Isla, and while Chantal’s other MC series do focus on the romance of the couple, there is usually a fair bit of MC drama happening throughout the book too.
Not the case, in this instance.
I found this book to be an absolute delight that I literally kicked my feed and giggled while reading - which is something that I just don’t usually do but some spicy scenes were just too much fun!
I can’t wait for more books in this series and I’m kind of hoping that all of the members get their own story because I see so much potential for this series.

Chantal’s latest novel introduces us to Skull and Bones, twin brothers and loyal enforcers for the Serpents of Chaos MC. Their inseparable bond is proven strong when they discover one is the father of a newborn girl. Rather than uncover the truth, they choose to raise her together, embracing the idea of shared fatherhood and unbreakable loyalty.

The arrival of Isla, a compassionate nurse, shifts the dynamic—especially for Skull, who, for the first time, desires something just for himself. The tension between brotherly love and romantic longing is beautifully handled, as Chantal’s storytelling keeps readers invested from the first page.

The novel delivers everything fans love: tough yet swoon-worthy bikers, a strong sense of found family, unwavering loyalty, and a spicy romance that sizzles off the page. Chantal’s engaging writing style immerses readers in the world of the Serpents of Chaos, making this book impossible to put down. It’s a must-read for anyone craving love, heat, and brotherhood in their next romance.

Thanks to the author for sending me a copy of the book. This is my honest review.

Skull is a fantastic addition to The Serpants Of Chaos MC. This series is fantastic, it's really addictive and I LOVE the characters.

I've been excited for Skulls story since he met Isla in the previous book. I knew then that everything was going to change for Skull.

Skull and his twin Bones have a really strong bond, more than just being twins. They've always relied on each other for everything, never doing anything without the other since they were young.

I was slightly nervous about what Chantal had planned for the twins and the dynamics of their relationship. I loved how she wrote Skulls story, the direction she took the twins in, whilst staying true to their connection.

Isla is perfect for Skull, she sees him and accepts who he is, she embraces his bond with Bones and his club. She is freaking awesome, i loved her.

I am obsessed with these two, they made me laugh, swoon and blush. They shared witty banter, sizzling chemistry, tender hearfelt moments and of course all the drama and danger that comes with club life. Loved their story.

I'm so freaking excited for the next book. I need more Ghost, i've been intrigued with his character from the start.

4 books in, and Skull and Bones, the twins that do absolutely everything together, finally get their story. But it’s not what I was expecting. As Skull and Bones adjust to becoming parents, spending their days and nights in the baby unit, Skull falls head first for his baby nurse, Isla. He’s not used to ‘not sharing’ though, so it’s a whole new world for him, and he’s suddenly becoming a possessive alpha, something he’s never been or understood before, Bones too, is not used to being ‘left out’ so to speak. Navigating monogamy comes with it’s own set of problems, especially when Isla learns the truth about Skull and Bones. Isla is kind and compassionate, although it turns out she has a naughty side too, she also fits in well with the whole Club, embracing the lifestyle, I loved that about her. A hardcore, entertaining MC romance with lots and lots of sexy time, as well as some added drama that comes when people mess with The Serpents of Chaos. I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Every Girls’ Fantasy

If I could give this book more than five stars I would. Make sure you have a fan sitting next to you on high because this book is scorching. Skull and Bones are both enforcers for the Serpent of Chaos MC and that’s not all they share. They are identical twin brothers who like to share “everything” in their lives which now has made them daddies from a club girl who left her daughter in the hospital for them to raise.

Isla is a nurse at the hospital where little Natalia was kept for a few extra days and she and Skull had a connection. One night Skull nor Bones could get Natalia to settle down and Skull called in Isla to help out.

Was Skull willing to share Isla with Bones or was this something special? I loved how Isla was welcomed into the club and how Skull showed his woman that she was his. Now will Bones be able to find his one and only? I can’t wait to see what the author does with this. This has been a fantastic series and this is a book that I highly recommend.

What an awesome book. Loved from start to finish. Finished this in one go.

Skull and Bones are enforces for the Serpents of Chaos MC, identical twins and they do everything together, and I mean everything. And love to share… And now they found out that they have a daughter, and the mother just left her at the hospital.

Isla is a nurse at the hospital, where their little girl, Natalia is. Immediately she and Skull form a bond. And Skull is totally infatuated with her. For the first time this is something he doesn’t want to share with his twin. But how will his brother feel about that and how will Isla feel when she finds out that they share everything…

Loved their story. I couldn’t get enough. Isla seemed like a shy person, but Skull brought out her inner goddess. She fit in perfectly with the rest of the club and their woman. Skull was amazing with his little girl and he was just what Isla needed.

I can’t wait for more of this MC Series… Amazing story Chantal Fernando 😊

Skull By Chantal Fernando ARC Review

I’ve been waiting to read Skull’s book ever since I first started reading this series and didn’t think it could get any better but most certainly it didn’t disappoint me at all and left me wanting more and waiting to see what’s next!

One of my favourite many tropes is a younger man and older woman but Isla was one of my a new interesting female main character that Chantal Fernando has written so far and left me waiting for the next book.

Skull, was hot, I loved the spicy scenes and how protective he was of Isla that left an a great impression on my heart but it was how he was so sweet and the dirty talk was so spicy.

The connection between them was on another scale of the spark that was blooming between them and I felt like they both had each other by each other’s side in the end.

My most favourite part of this story was Isla’s spark that she had with Natalia, and how she turned to create such a happy family with them which turned out to create something quite beautiful!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)...

This was definitely a peculiar book and a bit different from the others since the twins, Skull and Bones, have an interesting past time. This past time that they share ended up producing a cute baby that neither brother was sure was theirs so they decide to raise the baby together after the mother abandons the child.

I really liked the dynamic of the trio (Skull, Bones and Isla) and seeing how the relationship would progress. With Skull and Bones sharing women, I wondered how that would play out with Isla since Skull felt strongly for her; that was fun to watch him unravel when he wasn’t willing to share her. It was also sweet seeing Isla and Bones develop their own kind of relationship as well. However, the progression of Skull and Isla’s connection was my favorite especially since it seemed to hit Skull first and so strongly.

More review to come.

I devoured this book in one sitting because it was that good. This is the 4th book in the series, and it is my hope that this series never ends.

Skull, and his twin, Bones are enforcers for the Serpents of Chaos MC, and they do everything together, women included. They find out they have a newborn daughter and go to visit her at the NICU. That is where they meet Isla, their daughter's nurse. There is instant chemistry between Skull and Isla, and he realizes he might not want to share with his brother, especially when he sees her accidentally kiss Bones because she thought it was Skull.

Isla is a sassy and confident woman, and she compliments Skull perfectly. Their banter and interactions are entertaining. Isla fits in nicely with the MC's women and she understands and supports the twins' bond.

Highly recommend this book and looking forward to Ghost's story.

I am a huge fan of CF but I don’t always love every book but I can say I did genuinely love Skull’s story. From what we know about Skull and his brother Bones from previous books you would think the obvious would be happening with their little nurse but I was pleasantly surprised it didn’t go that way (don’t want to give any spoilers). It was so gorgeous to see them with their little girl and how they stepped up without hesitation when they were confirmed as being the dad to Daisy’s baby and what a bitch this whore was leaving the little girl as soon as she was born. Isla was refreshing, not a doormat which I personally loved and I was so glad she gave him a chance to prove himself. I would definitely recommend to fans of MC romance and obviously fans of the loverly Chantal Fernando 😍
Thank you to CF for my ARC

OK so I was HOOKED from the very beginning with this book.

I really have no words for this book. I was soooo gone with it.. I loved every aspect of this book.

Growing up as twins, Skull and Bones normally share everything (women included) but when Daisy (you find out about her in Lore's book and is told she is prego and its either Skull or Bone's baby - No spoiler there) has went into labor and left town while leaving the baby behind.. Neither know who the babys daddy truly is. Insert Isla - She is the nurse on call and lets say Skull is a goner!!

The relationship between Skull and Isla is off the charts and absolute pure magic. I loved the banter and I looooooved that all the members of the club house all welcomed her with open arms..

I am soooooo ready for the next book which is Ghost.. BUT I am relllly ready for more Bones..

I loved this book, and it is my favourite of the 4 Serpents of Chaos MC books so far.

I think all of us who read romance books can see ourselves in Isla, who is a reader of romance herself. Skull and his twin, Bones, are used to sharing everything, women included, but this changes when he meets his match in Isla. Isla has an ease about her that enables her to break through the walls that Skull has built around his heart.

The banter between the characters in this book was fabulous and made me laugh. Chantal has made her characters so likable and down-to-earth that you can't wait to see what brother will fall next and to whom.

I am so excited for Ghost's story. I cannot wait to learn more about what makes him tick besides Xanthe.

Thanks to the author for sending me this book. This is my honest review. I Love this book. One of my favorite things about this book is seeing the relationship between Skull and Bones. I enjoyed seeing how they stepped in to take care of the baby, not knowing which brother that she belongs to, because she belongs to them both. With out giving too much spoilers, there is a fun scene with the brothers and Little Nurse. Another thing that I like, is going between Isla and Skull. I know that it says, that it can be read as a stand alone book, but I would not. I would suggest reading the others in the series, because it helps you to understand the other characters. I would recommend reading all of Chantal Fernando's books because you will see that it really is a small world after all.

Skull grabbed me and held me in a hold from the first page. This one had steam, made me laugh, close my eyes in embarassment, hit me in all the feels, had my kindle smoking, and left me wanting more. Isla is an independent, smart, caring, but intelligent woman. Skull is a alpha male, who has a big heart when it concerns his daughter and his woman. These two were so hot together. I enjoyed watching them fall in love. The biker and the book nerd were cute together. They gave me all the feels. She fit in perfectly with the old ladies. Their story kept me turning the pages. I didn't want their story to end. I could not put Skull down. I read this book in one sitting. I loved this story! A great read. I cannot wait to see the other men fall hard for their woman. I loved Skull.... This story is so good and super spicy!

I couldn't put this book down. I was so eager to find out about Daisy, the baby and of course the brothers, but it's when Isla meets Skull that I was really hooked. She's so sweet and perfect for Skull. I really felt their passionate connection. Skull was always the quiet one between him and his brother Bones, so the way he opens up and even teases Isla really shows how special she is to him.
This story is loaded with drama and suspense involving the MC and the romance is also exciting and gripping. I also love the extras Chantal Fernando gives us at the end of the book. Those little teasers have me craving the next book!
