Spoiler Alert!! Yes I realize that this final book in the series has a 4.12 overall rating but believe me when I say that to me this is the worst one of all. This book begins with Rachel falling into the pit looking for Benji not knowing where they both landed. Rachel manages to see Benji in the underworld but is sent back above ground without him and given a quest from her grandmother to save not only Benji but everyone else. Matilda, Hunter, and Penelope mange to find the wayward mirror that they were looking for. Rachel's mom wakes up in the hospital bed hearing screams and realizing she's been turned into a vampire by Rob. After Rachel's mother is done feeding herself she is leaving the hospital only to be stopped by her husband to tell her that he knows everything and to go with him to another hospital. Rachel's mom decides to turn around and attack her husband by damaging his mind, leaving him there in the hospital floor and walking away to save Rachel.
After that incident this is the last time Rachel's mother is mentioned in the book. Rob wakes up imprisoned in the cell in Violet's castle and is taken in front of Violet to be judged for his actions and ends up being given one more chance to achieve his mission of bring Rachel back to Violet. Marc and Rachel travel together and go to their family's castle to help rescue their coven. Then uncle Drew tells Marc to take the key he is given and to go find Rachel and offer her assistance in the Atlantic ocean. Rachel's grandmother hands her a glass chest that has a golden amulet inside that shall allow Rachel to travel to the underworld and rescue Benji. Before Rachel can leave New Orleans and start her mission Rob shows up to try and take her again but as Rob thinks he's won he gets injured and with Rachel's grandmothers assistance she recovers the chest and leaves to head to the underworld to fulfill the prophecy.
Now it's a race to save Benji, all the vampires, and the world. As the new moon arrives Violet and her coven get ready to perform the spell which will make them the most powerful vampires in the world. As the spell is finished and nothing happens Violet becomes upset and tries the spell again only for it to fail again. By this point Violet is angry and goes looking for answers only to learn that the reason the spell failed is because of Rachel having the golden amulet. Meanwhile Benji gets imprisoned in the underworld and getting weaker by the minute. Now Rachel is heading to the Atlantic ocean looking for the opening to go through to the underworld, Marc is heading to find Rachel, Rob is heading to find Rachel, Violet and the coven are heading to find Rachel. As Rachel believes she has arrived at her destination Rob arrives to stop her and take her back to Violet. As Rob and Rachel battle Marc arrives to help her and as their getting ready to drop down Violet and her coven arrive to attack.
As Rachel asks Marc if he trusts her and he says yes they drop down together and land in the underworld again only for the underworld to get angry with Rachel for not returning alone and takes Marc away from Rachel telling her to go save Benji. Rachel goes off to find Benji in the underworld and succeeds only to fail again for not following instructions and she and Benji are thrown out of the underworld. As Rachel and Benji arrive top side they realize that Violet and her coven were waiting for them so they fly away only to see Hunter, Penelope, and Matilda flying towards them in the distance. Just as they are reaching for each other Rachel and Benji hear the voice of the underworld tell them that they are not ready and end up getting trapped in the wayward mirror together. That's how this ridiculous book ends!! Not only does the damn thing end in a cliffhanger, it also leaves you asking yourself what happens to Marc in the underworld, do the other vampires still live, does Violet end up succeeding performing the spell now that Rachel and Benji are trapped?!?! Oh and not to mention that in the 2nd book of the series where Rachel wakes up being a vampire and training on how to be one. She is told that she has to use a special vampire sun lotion 5 minutes before sunrise every day otherwise she'll burn alive. After the second book there is no mention of that lotion again for her or anyone else in the series.

Book 7
Rachel was batting on my last nerve at first. And what about Marc they left him with the booming voice in the underworld. I was hoping Rob and The Evil coven would've died at the end .I hope when part i comes out they poof be gone.

The y found the Amulet
They found the amulet and the mirror, but Rachel made the mistake of letting Benji touch the Amulet and the mirror, so the mirror sucked them into another portal. And who knows where they went from there!

There are so many errors throughout this series it made me nuts but the idea of the storyline was good.
