Fighting Destiny

Rate this book
Toby has always been the quiet one unless he needed to be heard. He lives and breathes his club and fighting - in or outside of the cage. But that all means nothing when Sara walks into his gym for a self-defense class he's teaching. Wither her, he feels at peace, which isn't something he's ever felt before.

Sara was always a doormat and a pushover. But after years of being abused, both physically and emotionally, she decides to leave her boyfriend. In order to do that though, she has to leave what few friends she still has, her job and her apartment behind. She flees from New York to California, hoping that it is far enough away he won't find her.

They meet when they never expected it. But when they are together, they feel things they have never felt before. Can they survive when Sara's past clouds their present? Can Sara get over Toby's hard exterior? Or will they only hurt each other beyond repair?

It's time to decide if they will follow what fate has set out for them or if they will both be in for the fight of their lives; Fighting Destiny.

The moment Toby saw Sara enter his self defense class he is teaching, he becomes infatuated. Toby is a biker and a MMA Fighter, this is completely unlike Toby but seeing Sara he senses a connection no one else could possibly share.

Sara senses it too but she just ran from an abusive ex who she spent way too many years with and is not looking to get involved again. A chance meeting though crosses Toby and Sara's path, Toby decides right there that she is meant to be his. The path is not as smooth as Toby would like especially when her ex makes an appearance shaking the club with the potential threat it brings.

Fantastic new series. This was gritty, intense, and action packed fun. Loved Toby, he was total biker but he also had this incredibly sweet side too him that brought a smile or two. Can't wait to read more in this fantastic series.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I had been impatiently waiting for this book ever since reading the prequel, Rewriting Destiny. Although it isn't absolutely necessary to have read that, I would recommend that you do. You'll get to know who the main characters are that the series is going to revolve around. This is Toby's story.

Toby meets Sara at a self defense class he was teaching. She drew his attention the very first time he saw her, she had a fear in her eyes that made him want to protect her from any further harm. The next time he sees her is when she's being manhandled at the strip club she bartends at. This makes his protective instinct rise up and he beats the guy, then takes Sara home with him to stay the night so she doesn't have to be alone.

Sara doesn't want to have feelings for another man. Especially one with the alpha tendencies that Toby has. She can't help but be frightened by that aspect of him because of her ex, Rick. He's the reason she ran from New York. His abuse was getting worse and she knew he was going to end up killing her. The beginning of their relationship had just been him being overly controlling and just incrementally grew worse, she worries that Toby will be the same way. She tries to fight it, but something about Toby ends up making her feel safe and cherished. He constantly promises that he'd never hurt her and she can't help but believe his sincerity.

Sara never imagined that Rick would take the trouble to come and find her, but he does. This causes a huge amount of trouble for everyone around her. The club has to get involved to help protect her, and Blaze blames her for putting his pregnant girlfriend, Dani, in danger. Toby takes issue with Blaze's accusations against the woman he loves, and this causes tension among all the club brothers. Sara suffers from tremendous guilt that she's brought all this on everyone, and there's nothing she can do to fix it and make it better. The only way to make things better is to eliminate Rick and the danger he's causing.

Many relationships are put to the test during this story. Not only the growing feelings between Toby and Sara, but Toby's relationship with his club brothers and Dani and Blaze's relationship. Intense peril can either bring people together or rip them apart. The bonds of friendship and loyalty and love are all strained. As the reader, you just hope they can all band together and still be united after the jeopardy is over.

The prequel was Blaze and Dani's story, this was Toby and Sara's, and I'm really looking forward to Louie and Harlow's. We get a few indications in this book that there's something going on between them, and it just makes you want to know more. I'm already excited for the next installment of the Forsaken Sinners!

This is the second book in the Forsaken Sinner's MC series. If you haven't guessed yet or read my other reviews, I'm a huge MC fan. Though I have to say this is actually the first book I have read in this series. I haven't been able to get around to the first book yet. Ok well thats a lie, I've read a few chapters of the first book, but haven't had the time to finish it yet. But I believe you can read them as stand alones. This book follows Toby and Sara.

I have to say I loved Toby right away. He is good looking, sweet and caring. But definitely has a bad boy side when he needs one. You could tell he had an instant connection with Sara when he first meets her, filling in for a self defense class.

I also really liked Sara right away. Which is a change for me, since I usually have a hard time connecting with the female character in a book. But I found Sara to be very likable. Even though she's on the run from her ex, and is quite and shy. She's independent, a fighter and is a bit sassy.

I thought this book was very enjoyable and flowed very nicely. I enjoyed all of the characters. Though I do have to admit one of the returning characters drove me nuts a little bit. This book will make you giggle at parts, make you want to throw your kindle or maybe reach through it and shake the characters at times, there's a little bit of drama.

I'm giving this book 4 out of 5 stars and can't wait to read the next one!!!!!

Really interesting book. It didn't have that 'OMG' can't put it down factor but it keep did make we want the next one. No cheating! Woohoo I love that. Also, it's an MC book with no cheating, double woohoo! There is a story line of Toby, the biker, who falls for Sara, the girl running from her abusive boyfriend who eventually makes his reappearance. There is lag time in the book but it does have some suspense. Now I need to know who the other guy was from the club that Rick was working with. Can't wait to read the next one.

A plot which has been tried before (and plenty of times) and has been successful, however this time there was something missing.
Even though I'm a sucker for insta-love, I was not persuaded with it.

Another good installment

Good writing that flowed well, I didn't feel a particular connection to the main characters, and I thought that the support characters were unfair in their treatment of Sara. I will persevere with the series and hope that I feel more of a connection with the next one.

Rewriting Destiny
Fighting Destiny
Born Into Destiny
Defying Destiny

Book One gives us Danielle and Zanes story. We meet the two main characters while they are in their early years. While holding onto each other and being inseparable a terrible event takes place crushing their road together to a road of broken and separate travels. Danielle’s life is changed forever leaving her hardened and sporting jagged edges. She meets Mack, the President of the Forsaken Sinners MC while staying across from his tattoo shop. Needing a better place to stay other than the motel she is currently seeking shelter in; she takes the room available at the tattoo shop. Coming into her own years later she hears the voice of a man who left her wounded and on her own …. How can this be the same person she lost so long ago and why does he have no idea who she is.

Fighting Destiny
This is the second release in the Forsaken Sinners MC series. Both of these characters suffered from emotional and physical abuse. Beware if you have triggers. Toby and Sara. Sara is running from her past of abuse from boyfriend. A man who took things from her she cannot replace. Refusing to be a victim any longer she hopes she can run far enough away from the monster that threatens to control her. Sara needs to learn how to defend herself just in case he comes to find her or her current job puts her in the line of fire. Sara refuses to ever be a victim again. Being in control is something she needs for herself to make it through healing from her past. Toby helps his trainer out at the gym, does some underground fighting and is a member of the FS. Dani and Blaze are happy and Toby wonders if he can have the same thing they do. Both fought to survive and came back from the dark so maybe he can too. The secondary story in this release deals with some members not agreeing due to an incident which I believe leaves a prologue and a sneak peek into our next release.

Born Into Destiny
This is a continuation; a short novella of Danielle and Zane; expecting parents. Dani isn’t sure of how she is going to handle motherhood but Zane knows she will be fantastic. In usual form Zane is behaving like an obsessed man after finding out his girlfriend is pregnant. He isn’t allowing her to do anything or much less even act like a functioning person. When in old friend comes back into Dani’s life things start to get a little interesting. Zane seems to not be where he says he is going to be and secrets start to unfold. The toll on the relationship hasn’t even begun yet .. you thought it did in their release but nothing like what we see here. Not to give anything away you are going to be frustrated and think Dani and Zane are never going to get it right …. Keep turning the pages and don’t hold your breath because it’s a wild one.

Defying Destiny
Louie is trying to control his demons. His father has been his guide and now that he has been taken from him there is no way to control what lies beneath the surface. Finding the man responsible for taking his only solace away will be the last thing he does no matter where it lands him. Harlow fought the system moving from place to place never wanted. The only person that kept her going was her twin brother Hendrix. He was always looking out for her but now he is gone. She wont forget and she certainly wont forgive. Being alone she is tainted and the world is black to her. There is no light and no hope. Two lost souls need to find their way out together and hope they can help each other heal in the third release. Stories need to be put to rest and chapters need to be turned and ended .. doing it is going to be very complicated and brutal.

This was a pretty good series. The characters were fairly well written and the story lines were good. We get to revisit old friends in the books and continue with the stories of the member of the MC we have already met in some form. All of the characters have some sort of brutal past they are trying to overcome or something they are fighting for. If you are an MC fan go ahead and click this series up. Give the first book a whirl and if you enjoy them click up the rest. They are all free on Kindle Unlimited. The next release is Owning Destiny which is Macks story.

description

Fighting Destiny was a great 5 star read.

This is Toby and Sara’s story.
Sara finally decides to leave her abusive relationship and moves forward. When she takes self defense classes she meets Toby.
Toby is a member of the MC and is an MMA fighter. When they meet you can feel an instant connection. However, a relationship is the last thing that Sara is looking for.

When Toby comes to Sara’s rescue at the club she bartends at she can’t help but feel a little intimidated by him. She has a fear that he may be similar to her ex. Of course Toby pursues her and convinces her to trust him. Just in time for the ex to make an appearance and cause trouble for the club. Will Toby be able to protect Sara from her ex and the club?

There is so much more to this great read. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
The story really went at a great pace. There is violence and strong sex scenes. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. There is no cliff hanger but you will be left wanting to read book 3 right away.

Wow!!! What a great read..

Sara is running from her past. She has escaped an abusive relationship and she never wants to go back or have another relationship like it. She has relocated and brought very little with her. She lives in a run down motel and works at a strip club as a bar tender. No friends or family around to turn to. She knows she can do this, she just has to. She decides to go to a gym that has self-defense classes available so maybe at least she can learn how to defend herself better.
Toby is an ex-marine and now a member of the Forsaken Sinners MC. He does some underground fighting to bulk up his wallet at times and he has his jobs for the mc. In his spare time he helps his mentor and trainer out at his gym. At night he usually hangs around the club with his MC brothers and drinks and parties with the club girls. Since he has seen his best friend, Dani, with her old man Blaze he has gotten bored with partying and has thought about finding more.
Toby is working at the gym and waiting for the self-defense class to start that he is teaching. When Sara enters the gym Toby spots her and he has an unexplainable possessive feeling towards her and he sees how kiddish she is and wants to protect her. Sara feels the attraction but she knows he would be trouble. She don't want to feel this way. When she walks out of the gym door, after the class, she knows she can't come back. All Toby thinks is he hopes she'll be back. She is shy but she has a spark in her eyes that drives him crazy.
At this part of the book you would think you would know how everything will work out but not in Fighting Destiny, there is so much more. Sara and Toby's story is not the full focus in this book. There is the journey the Forsaken Sinner MC members have to go through in a situation that has divided some members. Some members have to keep their cool in an explosive situation that could tear the brothers apart. There is more than one relationship that is being tested and tried. More than one person that is feeling the weight of guilt on their shoulders. How can everyone come out happy on the other side?
Fighting g Destiny is a phenomenal read. It will keep you guessing. I could not put this one down. I would suggest this book to everyone. This series has a novella, Rewriting Destiny,that was put out first and it is a great read also.
Thank you Shelly Morgan for your hard work and great job.

I was given this arc in return for an honest review. In no way was I bribed or forced to leave the following review…..
Fighting Destiny by Shelly Morgan is the first book in the Forsaken Sinners MC Series. I have had the privilege to read the prequel to this book and I have to say that Shelly has done an amazing job writing this book as she did with the prequel. In fighting destiny we meet Toby who is one of the Forsaken Sinners MC Brothers. He has spent his life fighting in the cage so that he could feel grounded. His entire life the only family that he has had is the club and he didn’t think that he needed anything else. Toby has always been the quiet one unless he needed to be heard. He lives and breathes his club and fighting - in or outside of the cage.
Then enters Sara, who has been a doormat for most of her life. She has been with the same man for a while now and has endured an abusive relationship. She has been both emotionally and physically abused. One day she decides that she has had enough and leaves Rick because she cannot take the abuse anymore. Living out of a motel room and working at the sinners strip club until she is able to get out on her own she finds herself walking into a self-defense class where she meets Toby. One night at the club she is being pulled into the back by a drunk that wants to use her and Toby just happens to witness it happening. She then meets other members of the Club such as Dani and begins working in the tattoo shop with Dani. Then for some unknown reason her past catches up with her and causes a lot of issues within the club and its members. Can Sara and Toby overcome her past? Can she look past Toby’s domineering ways? Can their relationship continue to grow or will she be the cause of the brothers falling apart? To find out the answers to these questions and what happens between Sara and Toby then by all means check out the book to see what happens you will not be disappointed!!!!! Great Job Shelly on another great Book!!!!!! Can’t wait for the next one to get here!

~~~~~~~~~~Lindsey's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
This book is a continuation of an MC series by Shelly Morgan. The motorcycle club sub genre of romance is really growing on me. I really like the series and Shelly Morgan is a great writer. This book has action, Romance, suspense, and love. It's also funny in some parts, which is what I look for in a romance novel.
~~~~~~~~~~Val's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~

HOT! HOT! HOT!! Home run for Shelly Morgan! I seriously have nothing to say besides this book was AMAZING!!! Flawless story, perfect characters and wonderful details!

~~~~~~~~~~Kirsty's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Shelly Morgan has done it again! This is about Sara and Toby. Now Sara has been through a twisted abusive relationship and ran away from the guy. She meets Toby by going to a gym for a class in self defense and the rest they say is history. Toby helps her realize what love really is along with Dani being there for her as a friend as well as the rest of the club. This is an emotional book that I highly recommend
~~~~~~~~~~Shar's ★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~

Fighting Destiny is the second installment of the Forsaken Sinner series and follows Toby and Sara. Sara arrives in town just like Dani did - scared and alone and with nothing to her name. Toby is a member of the MC and is friends with Dani. Just like with Dani, the MC takes Sara under their wing and things roll from there. Toby is the typical alpha MC member but Sara is afraid of that. The characters are well developed and the build up between Toby and Sara is spot on. All the other characters from the first installment return in this one. Scenery description is OK but the sex scenes are terrific. The author does a great job with the writing - making it easy to follow with a flow that makes sense and characters that you find yourself cheering for. Story is told in dual POV and has some twists and turns.

Even though this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone and does have an HEA.

Biker romances are not my usual read and I haven’t read the first book in this series but the story-line made me curious and I am glad I decided to read it. This is a hard hitting story with graphic sex and violence but both are integral to the plot and characters. The story wouldn’t be as powerful without them. The information about the MC enhanced the setting and added to the characters’ authenticity.
Sara is a victim of domestic abuse, running from her abuser and her past, straight into Toby, no stranger to abuse himself. The connection is instantaneous and scares both of them. Toby is the perfect gentleman despite his rough edges and he’s easy to like. Sara is strong despite her terrible past and it’s easy to understand why she shies away from her feelings for Toby and his possessive attitude. The secondary characters are great and make the story enthralling. I can’t wait to read Louie’s story.
There is a distinct suspense thread in this story, which makes it an absorbing read. The ending completes Toby and Sara’s story but leaves a mystery unsolved, which makes you want to read book 3.
I received a copy of this story from the author in return for an honest review.

I’m sure it is a good book but it doesn’t work for me. I don’t like super fast instant love and this has it so if you don’t wanna spoilers stop reading here

SPOILERS
The beginning was ok, I mean he is a hot guy working in a gym, member of a motor club, the bad boy type. She is a girl who is afraid so she goes to the gym where the H works to have a self defence class, all here, the h is shy and according to the H’s POV she looks afraid, the next thing that happen is she is working in a strip club being the bartender, but then she had to waitressing, then a drunk guy attacks her ( shocking ... not, I found it really cliche) but ok it was a good scene, what I didn’t like and made me stop reading was that we are at the 9% we are seeing the bar assault from the hero’s POV and suddenly he refers of her as “ my girl” like wtf? He just saw her 2 times and now he thinks is his woman ? But ok I decided to give it another try maybe he was just angry and didn’t think straight. Well after the attack he takes her home, not her home , HIS HOME!!! I’m not a prude but come on.
Nothing happens that night but next morning she walks by the couch he grabs her they fall asleep then he wakes up when she is touching him with her legs sooo he said stop or he will take her, suddenly the shy girl who was abused and afraid is all into him and says she wants him, what is worse is his replay “ I want you more than I want next breath” like for real? After only seeing her 3 times now he needs her so badly.
So like I said maybe it works for someone but not for me. It didn’t feel real

Rereading ready for Defying Destiny release.

Fighting Destiny starts a month or so after the end of Rewriting Destiny.

Sara is new to town; scared, penniless and in desperate need of money and a friend. After meeting Toby in less than happy circumstances, she is introduced to and then taken under the wing of Dani. The heroine of Rewriting Destiny.

I really liked Sara. Despite have a really crappy few years where she was used, abused and made to feel like shit, I found her to actually be a strong female character, who had done her best to get away from the bad and start afresh, even if it meant taking a less than stellar job to get herself started.

Toby, the big tough MMA fighter, the warrior with the heart of gold. Loved him! We only got a tiny glimpse of him in the previous book, but here we got to see one of the biker boys of The Forsaken Sinners MC.

When Sara and Toby first meet, she is understandably a little wary of the big tough guy in front of her, but eventually she gets to see the warm caring heart that we, the reader, saw from his first page.

It doesn't take long for things to take a bit of a turn for the worse though, this is a biker book after all, when Sara's past comes a calling and puts not only Sara, but Dani and the Forsaken Sinners in danger.

Another great read from Shelly Morgan. I 'm so glad I found her, and can't wait for the next book. She's one to watch for sure.

I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.

So I was kind of on the fence about this book going into it, I was 100% sold on the MC aspect since there was very little to do with it in the first story. We see more from the MC side of things in this one which I'm glad of.

We meet Toby in the changing destiny and although we don't see much of him I knew I was going to like him!! Toby was very loveable throughout this story and he stole my heart instantly. I loved how he felt so strongly about Sara and didn't let anyone disrespect her!

Sara has had a hard time the past few years with her abusive boyfriend so she was skittish to start with! I really enjoyed her character!! I thought she dealt with things really well and I loved her relationship with Dani, she softened Dani and we got to see a side to her that was different from mega bitch!

So I wasn't that fussed on Blaze/Zane in book one at times but in this one I could have happily kicked his ass!! He was a complete jerk to Sara when she couldn't have prevented the things that happened!

Although there were parts that were a bit predictable I still got really into it and couldn't set it down!! I loved the way the author portrayed the characters and I'm excited to see where the forsaken sinners take us next!!

Thank you for the opportunity to review!

Was given a ARC for honest review.... so, Holy S--- Shelly, you did it... loved the follow up. Yes we get more of Dani and all her badassness and Zane/Blaze... but the story centers around Toby and Sara... damn I love that man. From the minute he sees this beautiful, scared woman he feels something and wants to protect her. At a self defense class he sees spark and strength and wants more...There is MAJOR attraction between them, but both scared. He's closed off and doesn't really believe in love and poor Sara is on the run from a horrible ex who has hurt her. Once Toby finds her again, all bet are off... in his mind, she's his and sometimes gets a little too alpha for her. There of course all the guys from the MC... I really want Louie and Mac to get a book soon.. and that horrible club ho Trixie....ugh!! There is some good loving, misunderstandings, trouble from others but these two belong together. Still want to slap Zane on occasion, but Dani handles him. Some violence, NO cheating and a lot of love... a great series that hope Shelly continues for all the guys... love Louie too, but I'll admit that I'd love to see some woman knock Mac on his A$$...lol totally in a good way. Thanks for the privilege of reading... YOU ROCK WOMAN!!!

ARC given by author for an honest review.

I am so in love with this book! I love all MC books, but this one is up there in my top 10 favourite MC books of all time.

Although this is book 2 in the series, it can be read as a standalone, you can easily follow the story without having to read the first book.

I connected with all the characters, even the side ones.

Sara had me feeling for her all the way through the book. What she had went through that made her leave her home in the first place was just heartbreaking. She didn't ask for any of that to happen in the past and what happened in the present.

I really wanted to kick Blaze and Louie's asses for making Sara feel bad for what could have happened to Dani, and I'm glad Dani put them in their places. As I said before she never asked for it!

It felt a bit like double standards coming from Louie and Blaze, I mean if it were Dani in that situation they would want all the brothers to rally around and help, what makes Sara any different? It really riled me that they treated her like that.

Finally Toby.... What can I say about Toby? He was a total sweetheart, he has a big heart, and wanted to help Sara. I loved him so much, i need more of him!

Well done Shelly!!

3 Toby and Sara Stars

This was a 4 star read for most of the book but there were elements of it that I didn't sit well with me, hence 3 stars.
The negative points were that Toby became incredibly alpha over Sara really quickly. I love a badass Alpha biker but he just seemed to switch from being the quiet chilled biker to snarling possessive man really fast. I liked that we got to catch up with Zane and Dani but OMG these two fight virtually ALL the time and it just got old. I liked Dani in the first book but the way she behaved at times in this book made me want to knock some sense into her. Without giving away spoilers, there is a nasty female in this book and although she behaved reprehensibly , the manner in which she was dealt with was awful- especially considering that much of the book deals with domestic abuse.

On the positive side I liked seeing the author develop more of the other characters within the MC. It did show how there can be strain on the relationships between the 'Brothers' and how they deal with that. I still feel like it is going to be a good series and I will read the next book. I really like Mack and Louie. They would both be interesting to read about

This series just keeps getting better! I think I love this book a little bit more than the first one. I fell in love with Toby and Sara! Toby is part of the MC and one of Dani’s good friends. He is quiet but sees all. He’s an alpha fighter who didn’t even know what he wanted until he saw her, Sara. Sara is tough, although you don’t think so when you first meet her. She has had a rough past that she had to leave behind. Becoming fast friends with Dani, she works in the shop with her and Louie. She’s felt things for Toby ever since the first time he rescued her! But she is scared of her past, and ending up in the same situation she ran from. Can they overcome their trials and fears?

This books has a lot going on, there are more characters and I love every one of them. We get to meet some pretty awesome people. Dani is still one of my absolute favorite characters, and Zane still pisses me off of course! I like how this book has twists, and you don’t necessarily know what will happen from one minute to the next. Sara is for sure a tough cookie, and she finds that out as she makes a new life for herself. I am really excited to read Louies book! I love him and can tell he might have a rough road ahead of him, but it will be worth it!!!

My Review of Fighting Destiny
My Rating 4 Stars
The second book in the Forsaken Sinners series did not disappoint, and I was so happy to find it was Toby’s story.
The author did so well in introducing these characters to us and had me loving Toby the protector, MMA fighter and total badass yet once meeting Sara, he feels the pull to protect her. Sara, who is strong and determined to deal with her past and the abuse she received at the hands of her Ex-boyfriend Sara still tends to struggles with flashbacks. Toby witness’s this and decides he will help her in his self defense class. Toby, is determined to get Sara not only get physically capable of fending off an attacker, but mentally stronger to deal with having a way to defend herself and not be a victim.
This follow up story is so worth reading, Toby trying to protect Sara while Sara is trying to get over all that has been done to her. Does this couple stand a chance……Well your gonna have to read it to find out!

I was gifted this book for an honest review. If you're a fan on MC stories, this series is a MUST read!! Best to read Rewriting Destiny (book 1) first. In this second book of the Forsaken Sinners, we meet Sara and Toby. Sara is running from an abusive ex. While hoping to erase the memories of Rick, she finds a gym teaching self defense classes. Lusting over the instructor is not where her head needs to be. Days later, a drunken patron man handling her get knocked out by none other than the guy from the gym! His whole demeanour gives her flashbacks of the relationship she left. How will she distance herself when the attraction is so strong?
Toby has thought of nothing else besides Sara. Ever since she came to his self defense class, he has wanted to see her again. Club business led him to check out the dealings of the strip club. Seeing her being forcefully pulled made Toby see red!! Witnessing her frightened state, Toby made it his mission to protect her. With her past and Toby's personality, do they stand a chance or will they be Fighting Destiny?

After an abusive relationship Sara knows that she never wants another relationship like it. She is completely on her own with no family or friends, has very little, lives in a run down motel, and works as a bar tender in a strip club. She decides that she can learn to defend herself and goes to a gym with a class. That is where she meets Toby, an ex-marine and Forsaken Sinners MC member.

This was an amazing read! It is about so much more than just Sara and Toby's relationship. There are some intense moments with the club because of things that happen. A lot of relationships are tested in this and the guilt that Sara feels over things that happen really made me feel for her. I cannot say enough for amazing this story is.

Given an ARC for honest review! Shelly Morgan is continuing to take us for a ride with her Forsaken Sinners. Fighting Destiny is about Toby and Sara and there are appearances by characters from Rewriting Destiny. You get the best of both! Sara is a woman that found the strength to leave a bad relationship. She is a survivor and a fighter. Toby is a protector, fighter and a lover. He is a man that has a hard outer shell but when he loves and protects he does it with his whole heart. Shelly Morgan has given us more mystery and suspense. She has also given us some family turmoil in the Forsaken Sinners. How do you decide what is the right thing to do when you feel like an outsider but you are part of the family? When the dust settles will Toby and Sara be able to finish Fighting Destiny and move toward the future? So excited to continue this series. Leaves me wanting more! Love it!

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest opinion..and i loved it! Id give it 10 stars if i could! It had drama and romance and action and smokin hot sex scenes! Everything i could want in a book.
This book is a sequel to the first only instead of following Zane and Dani, this is Toby and Sara's story..although Zane and Dani fans do get to see more of them.
So Toby is an MC guy, loves his club, his brothers and fighting.
Sara is a new girl in town running from old man problems and is taken in by the club and the guys in it.
Trouble follows her but little does that trouble know that shes now spoken for by this MC and if u mess with her, u mess with them. Not to mention the possessive fighter thats smitten with her.
Leaving it there cuz im not a spoiler...grab it up on release day, u wont regret it!

Ugh

I'm pretty disappointed by this book. I read a great one by this author recently and was eager to read more of her books, but maybe that one was a fluke, because this book and the previous in this series were disappointing and rather gross. The one before this couldn't possibly be considered a romance with how much of a manwhore the dude was. There were sex scenes between him and other women, and it was just awful. I don't care his reasons; he was inexcusably awful to her. In this book, right off the bat, Toby basically admits he was a slut and sleeps with women come in the gym. And then we get to meet a club whore right after that. This stuff is gross. I don't want to read that in a romance. And I'm tired of slutty men in "romance " books. It's so old, and it's gross when it's actually in the book. I really hate that stuff.

For me this was only 3 stars! The writing was okay and the book flowed fine but for me I felt the characters were very undeveloped! There was no chemistry and what was the point of the one scene where he tells her to use red as a safe word just because he's using a belt to tie her hands! This wasn't a BDSM book or even close so what was the point of that one part? It was out of place for this book! There was no need for safe words *rolls eyes*

Maybe I'll read the others in this series but maybe not!
