I loveeeeee Amy Andrews or I should say I love AA's writing, I've never met her, probably how she wants to keep it too. How did I miss that this book was coming out? And on KU? Anyway, I downloaded this puppy as soon as Kindle said to me (yes, Kindle talks to me bc I pay a freak ton of money for books on zon every month. KU talks even sweeter to me) "Hey, that author you love?" -algorithms can read my mind! shock, gasp and sorta delight if I ignore the ramifications - "She has a new book out, and it's exclusively on KU, come and get it" all said in a very seductive sing songy voice. Or maybe I'm just hearing voices, regardless I read half last night and I'm finishing right now. Well right now I'm writing this review, but you know what I mean. Why didn't I just finish and write the review? I dunno. Voices, I guess.

I finished. I sighed. I enjoyed immensely. You know how you have "your authors"? Where you enjoy their writing style and really don't care what the subject matter is? Well, she's one of mine. I enjoy her medical romances a lot, that's how I first found her; Harlequin Medical Romance. This was a sweet, mildly angsty, very sexy, Italian hottie with a sweet pea of a son and a nurse who gave a lot of herself but rarely got what she deserved back. That Italian hottie and sweet pea finally gave her every thing she deserved and even better, everything she wanted. Sigh. I can't wait for the next one in the series. Sigh. I just can't stop sighing.


YOU KNOW WHAT?! THIS IS A RE RELEASE. Thankfully is was on ku cause I own it, and I obviously didn't remember it. Shrug, I'll be checking very carefully before I buy now.

He said her virtue was safe with him, then licked sauce off her boobs. He said the same thing again, and then slept with her. For goodness’ sake.

Also, the first time they decided to jump each other’s bones, they completely threw safe sex out the window. They’re supposed to be medical professionals! I hate how stories make it so convenient to give in to urges when there are no condoms. FMCs are always magically on the pill or have an implant.

Apparently, Nat wasn’t nearly mad enough after the “reveal.” She still wanted to sleep with Alessandro.

The ending felt way too abrupt. A confession and a proposal just like that. Come on. Get real.

great until the end

Ending was really abrupt. Would have been good to have an epilogue. Left me wanting to know more, not just stop and that’s it.
