Or at least she was until the Elder sacrifices her life, resurrecting Libra and sending her back to reclaim her throne. However, Libra returns with a warning from the Elder. The throne she died to protect teeters on collapse. There are traitors in her midst, and if she can’t find and stop them, it will lead to the end of her reign.
With the Galaxy Eater dead and the war over, Libra must navigate a cosmos that has been forever changed. She decides that she’s going to negotiate a peace deal which should prevent future wars and strengthen her reign. Peace talks send the royals of neighboring galaxies to the Milky Way and bring danger to Libra’s doorstep. When a foreign king dies in Libra’s court and she is the main suspect in his murder, everything begins to unravel.
As betrayal looms on the horizon, Libra must learn to master her power without letting it consume her or she will become the monster some already believe her to be.
Libra must ask herself how far she’s willing to go to protect her reign. What will she sacrifice this time to keep everything from falling apart?
Death couldn’t hold her. Love strengthens her. But her fate may yet destroy her.

I am lost for words right now, but in a very good way. I was blown away by Book 2 with the continuation of Libra's fight to get her throne back from the very people she had been side-eyeing for many months before she took her last breath. I wanted to cry many times, not just for Libra but for Orion as well; both have lost so much, but together they were pure magic. Andromedus...I was not expecting to like him at all in this story, but he surprised me. There is more to him than being a menacing threat to the entire galaxy. I do believe Libra and Andromedus are soulmates, because the scenes between them were giving very much enemies to lovers, but we haven't gotten the lovers portion just yet, hopefully maybe in Book 3. Thank you so much, Naomi, for continuing this storyline, because it's just pure magic. I love it. I loved reading Book 2. This book took my literal heart and made me love this storyline even more. You get 10's across the board for this. I can't wait to see what happens in Book 3.
After the ending of Wrath of the Stars, I couldn’t wait to see what would happen with Libra and her fight to reclaim her throne. So of course I dove straight into Fall of the Stars — and it did not disappoint.
This book had several moments that absolutely broke my heart. 😩🥹 The emotional stakes were high, and Libra’s journey had me rooting for her every step of the way. There were a few slower sections that lost my attention for a bit, but the story picked up again and pulled me back in.
And that ending… I did not see it coming. At all. Now I’m fully invested and more than ready for book three!
I’m really grateful for the ARC of this book and the concept of telling a story from the perspective of the stars and constellations. The premise had so much potential, and the opening chapters definitely caught my attention. I struggled to stay connected to the characters and story as it progressed. There was a lot of political back and forth and family betrayal, and because characters could die and come back, I found it hard to feel the weight of their losses. Still, readers who enjoy doses of spice and celestial-inspired fantasy romance may connect more strongly with this book than I did.
OMG I loved this book! This book picks up right after book 1 “wrath of the stars” and I couldn’t have asked for a better story progression.
Plot: In the aftermath of the war and battle that Libra goes through at the end of book 1, book 2 continues the story so well. This book actually crosses over the last few chapters and I loved getting that insight into how it happened.
There were several obstacles through this book and I really enjoyed each one and how it moved the story along.
Orion and Libra are really my favorite- they do have some miscommunication in this book but it is resolved relatively quickly and doesn’t harp too much on it.
The ending of this book was wild! I did see it coming at the end with a specific line so I wasn’t overly shocked l, but such a good ending!
The pacing of the book was pretty steady and not too much dragged on.
Thank you so much to the author for the gifted eARC

This book was very enthralling! The political intrigue, the witty banter and the plethora of character story lines kept me interested in what was going to happen next! The drama intertwined in the plot made this story very entertaining too. Overall, I would recommend this read to others and I think it was a great addition to the first book, Wrath of the Stars.
Thank you for picking me as an ARC reader (and apologies for the delay!)
When I started this book, I wasn’t totally sure where the story was going to go because I had felt like book 1 could’ve been a standalone. By the end though, I’m so glad the story was continued and I’m so excited to see where it goes in book 3!
I really loved this book! This was far better than the first one. I will say the spice in these books leave something left to be desired. However, the adventure makes up for it. I can’t wait for book three!
3🌶️, open door romantasy. More spice than book 1. Plot focused with spice meant to drive storyline.
Book 2 of the Zodiac Court Series came through with more of the emotional rollercoaster we experienced in book 1 (Wrath of the Stars). With political discord, budding romance, and a young leader trying to do what's best for the kingdom and their personal lives. In book two, you learn more about the universe outside of the Milky Way and the gods the Stars worship. Another cliffhanger ending that is leaving me anxious for book 3!
Naomi has the storytelling capabilities and clear, creative writing to become one of the best romantasy authors I've read in a long time.
