Civil War UK: An oral history of the 2029 British civil war

Rate this book

CIVIL WAR An Oral HistoryWhat if the United Kingdom didn’t survive 2029?

Told through raw, unfiltered interviews with soldiers, rebels, refugees, and politicians, Civil War UK paints a chilling portrait of a nation at war with itself.

From the battle for London to the Partition Accords, this is the oral history of the war they tried to erase.

Leaked, banned, and unforgettable.

Read it before they bury it.

This is the story of how it all fell apart.

Told through the voices of those who lived it—from a Welsh schoolteacher sheltering refugees to an SAS veteran leading resistance in the hills, from a Pakistani student radicalized at Oxford to an American CIA operative watching nuclear weapons disappear—Civil War UK presents a chilling vision of civilizational collapse.

Not sure what I think of this - on the one hand an incredibly thought provoking text about the importance of free speech, tolerance and co-existence whilst on the other a perhaps sensationalist view on what may happen should these values be ignored and Britain descends into civil war at the end of the decade.

I sincerely hope we can find an off ramp to the division of today in order to protect tomorrow.

I hope most fervently that we can find an off ramp. This is the worst case but I’ve heard so many people voice these fears that are brought to life in this book. It is only fiction. May it remain so

Excellent

Very well written mind-boggling book, making more sense than
I wish to admit!
The big question on everyone’s lips
At the end of 2025, is why oh why is the government bringing in thousands of military aged men? WHY??????

Insightful

Well-written. Plausible. Worth the read. Similar to some French équivalents. Only God can save the day. Meditate on the current situation.
