My review:

This one honestly makes me a bit sad to rate so low, because I usually really enjoy N. Slater’s books. Unfortunately, this is now the second MF pairing I’ve read from them that just didn’t work for me. The spark felt muted compared to their other stories, and once again I struggled to connect with the female character. She didn’t feel as layered or as thoughtfully written as the male characters, which made the romance fall a bit flat for me.

I was so excited to finally get the twins’ story, especially after loving their dad’s books, but I ran into the same issue here that I did before. Elias’ distance from his family and the amount of shame he carries around his omega identity and his bond with his twin just didn’t fully add up. Knowing how supportive and loving his dads' pack was supposed to be, it felt off. I could see what the author was going for thematically, but the emotional aspect didn't land for me, and the logical side of things is... nonexistent. I could understand with Leo's story because he is a bit more than "just" an omega like his father.... but for Elias all of this truly made no sense.

That said, I did enjoy some of the external conflicts. Elias having to hide being an omega for his job was genuinely interesting, and I liked seeing how that pressure shaped his choices. What didn’t work was (again) that his self-loathing followed the same pattern as Leo and their father before them, which again clashed with the environment they were raised in. Instead of heightening the tension, it actually pulled me out of it because the conflict felt manufactured rather than organic/logic.

This was such a sweet omegaverse romance, and I loved that it completely flips designations, and shows you don't have to fit a mold. Jamie and Olivia were so caring, supportive and understanding, and Jamie is the missing piece they needed.
I liked that this explores submission and dominance, and that you can be, want and need both. I just wanted to hug Elias after the poor treatment from his manager and new boss, and love that his new family helped free him.
This is a MMF romance with the perfect balance of plot and spice, hurt and comfort and a hea.

Omg!! This was is one of my favorite Omegaverse books by N. Slater. So so so so amazing!! The care and love Olivia and Jamie gives Elias just melted my heart. This book stole my attention and my heart. I could not put it down. The chemistry was on hot fire!!! Highly recommend this book.

I loved the dynamic between these characters & how they didn’t exactly fit the mold, but they worked with each other. I have been reading less and less MF, but Slater’s amazing writing keeps me coming back. Her female characters are unmatched compared to other authors.

It’s been a little while since I read an omegaverse by N Slater so I’d forgotten how well she does these stories.
It was a quick, easy read, with likeable characters (and characters I loved to hate) and a plot that had me finishing it in a few hours because I had to know how it ended.
I loved the dynamic of the male and female alphas and the male omega, particularly because they didn’t fit the “normal” mould. It was something different so I found it extra interesting. I really enjoyed watching their relationship play out.
It was fast moving as always and the spice was good.
Another good read and one I’d happily recommend.

I was so excited when this book came out! It’s one I’ve been wanting to read for a while. N. Slater does such a good job with these books. I couldn’t put this beauty down!

I really loved the dynamic of the characters and how they were all different. They fit together like a puzzle piece each bringing something to the relationship. The spice was a nice plus, but I loved the sweet moments. Elias captured my heart from the beginning. And I loved the support that Olivia and Jamie gave to him.

I had many different emotions while reading this book. And it was worth every minute. I smiled, got mad, frustrated, etc. I do wish I could have had a little more time with these characters lol, because I loved them!

Overall, this was such a good book! I highly recommend if you love omegaverse!

This book was very wholesome with its characters. They were full of love to give in a world that wanted to tear them down. The story itself faced a lot of dark elements of controlling behaviours but ultimately came out with a happy ending for our big beautiful omega and his two alphas.

This was the sweetest read...

So we have Elias, our omega. He is an adventurer at heart and has always loved to be outdoors exploring and turned it into a job. He is really sweet but also has this edginess to him that isn't typical of his designation. Our alpha's are Olivia and Jamie. They are a beautiful married couple that are what I guess you would call soft alpha's. They are firm and fair when they need to be, but they crave softness, especially Jamie. Olivia is beautiful, kind, and caring and has such a calming personality. Jamie, he is so soft and gentle, and he's honestly the best. But they are missing something, or rather someone...

After a concerning event occurs between Elias and his boss, he's out of sorts a little and meets up with 2 alpha's to blow off some steam. Little do any of them realise that when they do finally meet in person, they are mates and straight away Jamie and Olivia react to Elias's distress and want to soothe him and find out what is really going on behind closed doors. They eventually do, and we go on a bit of a rollercoaster. He prepared to cry because i did. I love how the relationship between all 3 developed. Elias was finally able to fall into a safe space with the help of his alpha's, and Olivia and Jamie found their missing someone.

It's an amazing read 🤍

Firstly, be sure to check the trigger warnings. Then dive into this fantastic read! Poor Elias captures your heart as he receives support from Olivia and Jamie and ultimately begins to fight back for himself and his Alphas.

I felt an immense rage when Tristan and Warren acted the way they did. I mean, how could they risk someone's life like that? It truly made me furious!

This is yet another amazing book from this author, filled with plenty of angst, tension, spice, and healing. It beautifully depicts found family themes and is sure to be enjoyed by all omegaverse fans.

If you don’t like to read books where Alphas act more like omegas and omegas like alphas this isn’t for you. I found the book just ok. It was different for sure. A book you can read to pass some time. I’ve read lots of N Slater books but this one wasn’t my fav.

This is the fourth book in the Omega preference series by n. Slater. And this book is from the other twin Elias's perspective. He is definitely his own person and this book is a lot of how you present yourself to society versus who you are underneath. When you take off your mask and finding what sort of values are important enough to you that you don't care what anybody else thinks and finding the people that will accept you no matter what you can be the big, tough Omega that is in charge of the sweet and sensitive alphas. So it definitely plays the Uno reverse on the typical roles that you see in omegaverse books. And unlike books, one and three. This book does have a female character as well and she is amazing.
