WHAT DO YOU PUT IN THESE BOOKS?!?! Literally and completely AGAIN could not put it down! From the time I found C.S. Berry, I have devoured EVERYTHING she wrote! This was the last series I was waiting on and OMG! Forbidden Obsession by C.S. Berry is book one of four. If you love a HOT, obsessed, protective, brother’s best friends, why choose romance, I am telling you, GO READ THIS BOOK NOW and add this series!
Sara Morris, I loved this girl! She’s fierce and confident, knows what she wants and she’s going to take it, period! I love how she owns what she wants and isn't afraid to explore her se$ual desires. Ready to intern at her brother’s company for the summer when everything changes. Her brother disappears and leaves a note with nothing other than to let his friends protect her. And so begins the search for anything to find out what has happened to him AND living with these men! Four completely different men that are absolutely obsessed with Sara. Wyatt-the one she has ALWAYS been in love with. The grumpy, dominant man who has always pushed her away out of fear of her brother’s response and his desire to dominate. Dante, the viking, the warrior, her true protector. Finn, the playboy, the funny one, the one who wants her and is not afraid to finally give in. And Drew, the man she turned to to date, to help her get over these men. He’s confident and kinky and he wants her all in. And as these five navigate trying to find her brother AND figure out how to all share Sara, their guards go down, the attractions and connections that have been there forever, the walls come down and holy hell! I loved how they were real with each other. They talked about what they each wanted, if they could share her, and mostly I loved how everything is about her. I can't even describe the steam, the spice and heat of this book. It will burn you alive. It is so hot. It’s addicting, it's raw….. Ugh I can't even describe how good!
I love C.S. Berry books because they deliver the perfect mix of romance, danger, passion, obsession, love and a real storyline you can get lost into. This one ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for the next one. GO READ THIS BOOK!!

I really enjoyed this book! Readers first meet Sara Morris in the Private Listing series, where Madison Harris starts a new job and falls for her bosses: Seth Hart, Noah Burns, Blake Wagner, and Cooper Graham. Sara appears after her mother sets her up on a blind date with Noah, who agrees only to protect the secret that all four men are involved with Madison, fearing exposure could damage their reputations and company. Seeing Noah's feelings for Madison, Sara suggests they become friends. Madison values her thoughtfulness, and they become friends, later joined by Kayla (Blake’s sister) and Hope (a coworker and the sister of a local bartender). The four form a close-knit group. Now, Sara gets her own story—with her own foursome of hot men.
Sara’s brother, Tom, and his friends, Wyatt, Dante, and Finn, who run an accounting firm together, are as close as family. If you're considering picking it up, you won’t be disappointed, but be aware that this book does contain explicit sexual content and touches on tough topics like family conflict and danger. I absolutely loved it and can't wait for book 2, especially since this one ends on quite the cliffhanger!

I first read this story on Kindle Vella, and I’m so excited about the book series! We met Sara in Private Listing, and it’s fun seeing cameos from those characters. The relationship between the FMC and MMCs is dynamic and growing throughout the book. There’s witty banter and a touch of mystery too!

I didn’t get a chance to read Obsession when it was a serial, but I had read the Private Listings series. Since I was already familiar with Sara’s character, I was really excited to get started with a new RH C.S. Berry series. The characters always leave a distinct impression on me and get me so invested in the stories that I don’t want to put them down.
I liked that Sara had such a long history with 3 out of the 4 guys at the start. She’s known Wyatt, Dante, and Finn since adolescence, because she was the younger sister of their best friend. Sara has had a huge crush/been in love with Wyatt for years, but somewhere along the way he started icing her out. Sara has started to accept that Wyatt won’t ever see her the way she sees him, so she decides she’s going to stop acting like she’s unavailable, when other sexy and interesting men want her… like the charming Drew Young, or Dante and Finn.
When her brother mysteriously disappears and leaves Sara under the care and protection of Wyatt, Dante, and Finn because she’s in danger, everything starts to get complicated. Sara has started dating Drew and has no intention of giving that up, and she’s also exploring the attraction she also has with Dante and Finn since her brother isn’t there to put a stop to all of it. But can these longtime friends share her? Can any of them keep her without sharing? And even if they figure it out as friends, how will Drew fit into all of it? Beyond all of that, what kind of trouble has Sara’s brother gotten himself into? Why is Sara in danger too? Will her men choose her over their allegiance to her brother?
It was so fun exploring these questions in the first book for this series. It ends on a big cliffhanger, so be prepared! But as always, C.S. Berry’s RH stories are simply delicious - intriguing, sexy, mysterious, and compelling. Strap in!

I was fortunate enough to receive an Advanced Reading Copy of Forbidden Obsession from the author, and let me tell you—if you loved C.S. Berry’s Private Listing series, you are in for a treat! I did read the Private Listing Series more than once. I will probably be doing the same with this series as well.
This story gives us Sara’s journey, and it was worth the wait. She is still a feisty little firecracker that knows what she wants. She was "dating" Noah trying to make Wyatt—her brother’s best friend—notice her in the previous series, but seeing their chemistry finally explode on the page was everything I hoped for. We also get to learn much more about Dante (the protective Viking) and meet (the fun flirt) Finn, and I was happy to see Drew (the Casanova from that epic group dinner! IYKYK) joining the fun as well. We learn a few more things about him.😉
The stakes are high from the beginning. When Sara’s brother, Tom, goes missing and sends a cryptic text telling her to stay at his apartment with his best friends, the tension reaches a breaking point. Dante, Finn, and Wyatt have all secretly wanted her forever, and being together at work and in the apartment turns that "protection" into something much more intense. The "brother's best friend" trope is done perfectly here, and the spice level is red hot! 🌶️🌶🌶️🌶️️🌶️😍
I also loved that the whole girl gang is back—Kayla is as wild and hilarious as ever, providing the perfect comedic relief to the mystery and steam. C.S. Berry has a knack for making you laugh one minute and blush the next. I couldn't put this down! Enjoy the ride! I am sure you will be waiting with anticipation for the next book, Indecent Obsession (Book 2), just like I am. This book does end in a cliffhanger.

I’ve been a fan of C.S. Berry since her Private Listing days, so getting to see her stories evolve from Kindle Vella into full releases has been really exciting.
Forbidden Obsession introduces us to Sarah, the girl-next-door type who finds herself pulled into a situation that is anything but simple. Drew, known for his playboy reputation, starts to see something different in her—something that makes him consider changing his ways.
But Drew isn’t the only complication in Sarah’s life.
Wyatt, Finn, and Dante—her brother’s best friends and business partners—are completely off-limits. Which, of course, only makes the tension that much stronger.
When her brother goes missing and Sarah’s safety is threatened, these three step in to protect her. What follows is a mix of close proximity, rising tension, and blurred boundaries that keeps the story moving at a steady, engaging pace.
Berry does what she does best—delivering a story that feels indulgent, addictive, and just a little bit dangerous. The dynamic between the characters, especially with the added “why choose” element, creates plenty of tension and intrigue heading into the rest of the series.
Since this is book one, it very much sets the stage for what’s to come, and I’m definitely interested to see how Sarah’s story—and her relationships—continue to unfold.
I typically prefer to read series all at once, but having followed Berry’s work prior to publication, I already know this is going to be a fun ride.
If you enjoy reverse harem/why choose romances with forbidden elements and protective male leads, C.S. Berry is always a solid go-to.

Here’s the thing. Ms Berry writes a book? I read it. No questions asked.
I loved the note at the starting of the book where Ms Berry says she loves writing smut with a sprinkle of plot (A very good plot I must say) and it works out perfectly because I absolutely love reading smut! Hahaha.
Moving on, Private Listing was one of the first series I read by Ms Berry and I absolutely adored it. I devoured the entire series in one sitting and it feels magical to be back in the same universe! I loved catching up when Madison and her men and I know Hope will get her story soon!
Coming back to Sara, I loved her! She knew she was in love with it a man who didn’t want her back and instead of continuing to pine after him, she moved on. She tested the waters and she took control over her own life.
Coming to her men, I absolutely knew I was gonna fall for Wyatt first. I just have a thing for dominating, grumpy, assholes and Wyatt checks all the boxes.
The other men were equally if not more caring and I loved how all of them came together to make Wyatt get his head out of his bum and see how they can make things work with Sara.
The spice was spicing. The tension until the time everyone got on board was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
I love how protective each man is of Sara and knowing they are going to be living and working together moving forward, I just can’t wait! The book has all my favourite tropes going for it and I’m just soooo pumped to read the upcoming books!

Absolutely off the charts. The kind of book that has you promising “just one more chapter”… and suddenly it’s 3am and you’re still fully invested. I devoured this book in one day. 😮💨📖
And let’s talk about it—the why choose trope is alive and WELL in this series 🙌🔥 and it is done so perfectly. You're going to fall head over heels for Sara and her men! The dynamics, the emotional pull, the way each relationship builds and intertwines… it just works. Every connection feels intentional, intense, and completely consuming.

Sara is a lucky woman! I loved her in the Private Listing series and I am so excited she has her own series now! She is such a well rounded character. I adore her so much!

I also enjoyed that Drew doesn't know the guys and is separate from their group. It brings depth to their group relationship. It will bring fun learning experiences as they navigate their new relationships with Sara.
There was something I loved about each of the guys. They were all so different and bring out different sides of Sara. I can't wait to learn even more about them and have more individual time with Sara.

Omg this book!!! It had me hooked from the very first page & I loved it! If you read the Private Listings series than you know we briefly met Sara there when she went out with Noah. C.S. Berry did a Kindle Vella of this one & reedited the serial into books, just like she did with Private Listings. It's a spin-off of Private Listings so you do get to see some of the characters from there. But don't worry it's not confusing at all because Sara explains everything in the book. & this series stands on it's own.
Sara has known Dante, Finn & Wyatt practically her whole life. & just recently started dating Drew. But when her brother Tom skips town he leaves her in his 3 best friends' very protective hands. What happens after is an exploration of the connection Sara has with these 4 gorgeous men.
This was the perfect introduction to Sara & her guys. The beginning of something new, with new experiences not just for Sara but for her men as well. & OMG these experiences are just 🥵 & THAT ENDING!! Where is Tom? & what has he gotten himself into?

This book was amazing!! We met Sara Morris in the Private Listing series when she was set up on a date by her mother with one of Madison's guys. She became fast friends with Madison, Kayla and Hope. Now it's Sara's time for her story.

Obsessed is an understatement. Another C.S. Berry win!
C.S. Berry is hands down one of my favourite reverse harem authors. Her books always grab hold of me and refuse to let go — to the point where I either have to finish the book or completely crash from exhaustion trying!
This first book in the series absolutely hooked me and had me flying through the pages. I had already heard about Sara through another series, and after reading this, I definitely recommend reading the Private Listings series first because the crossover characters make everything even better.
I loved this cast from start to finish. It’s honestly hard to choose a favourite out of the guys because they all bring something special to the story, although there were definitely moments of doubt around some of them for reasons I won’t spoil. One thing I really loved was how united they all were in their feelings towards Sara.
The ending definitely gave me a “wait… what?!” moment. Not a huge dramatic cliffhanger, but enough of an unexpected twist that I absolutely need the next book.
If you’re a reverse harem fan, this is absolutely a must-read for your TBR.

CS Berry's new book, "Forbidden Obsession," from start to finish was a great read. I was drawn in from the very beginning. When Sara finally decides she wants to move on from her feelings towards her brothers best friends and the way she decided was to have a sexual relationship, she picked Drew, a man she found who was entertaining at an event. There was a drama involving Drew and multiple woman he was sleeping with. When on a date with Drew Saras brother sent a message about danger and to go to his best friends for protection. This is when Finn and Dante finally makes a move. A HOT move. While Wyatt still fights his attraction to her for loyalty to his best friend who is also Saras older brother. Sara doesn't believe she's in danger but she did notice a person in black smoking spying on her. She's nervous. So much is going on that just drew me in. I cannot wait to find out what happens next. I highly recommend this book.

Another great read by C.S. Berry. I did not read the series when it was posted previously so I was super excited to get back into a C.S. Berry book that I didn’t already know (previously read private listing and the horsemen). I loved the characters here in this book and the different dynamic with characters that grew up together and had this pull that they never acted on - even though our FMC wanted it so badly. I loved seeing a little pop in from private listing and diving into Sara and her life. The guys are all amazing and I love how different C.S. Berry makes her MMC, the FMC knows what she wants and when she finally gets it… well she certainly goes big. I’m really excited to see where the plot goes in the upcoming books to what happened with Tom and what the heck he was involved in. If you love a why choose, spicy with good plot then you’ll love the C.S. Berry collections!

An FMC navigating and demanding what she wants and four MMCs that all want her- even though three have been told for years she is off limits (big brother's best friends). There is a touch of dark plot line, but nothing super intense yet (although I'm sure it is coming) but the spice.... whew. Dreamy sigh. And the talks about consent and plans and boundaries- makes therapist me so happy.

WOW—I devoured this. Forbidden Obsession is everything I love: steamy, emotional, and packed with tension. Sara is such a strong FMC—confident, self-aware, and finally going after what she wants. I loved watching her own it, even when things got messy (and they definitely do). The history with Wyatt, Dante, and Finn adds so much depth, and then Drew just throws everything into chaos in the best way. Every dynamic feels different, and the tension is constant. And it’s not just romance—Tom’s disappearance adds real stakes and keeps you hooked the whole time.
Also: forced proximity, brother’s best friends, why choose… all done RIGHT. That ending?! RUDE. I need book two immediately.

After meeting Sara in private listing (read this if you haven’t it’s 10/10) she finally gets her story, and the chemistry between her, Wyatt, Dante, and Finn is intense from the start. The brother’s best friend trope is done perfectly, easily one of my favourites.
The suspense keeps the story moving as Sara’s brother goes missing, forcing her to stay with his best friends while secrets unravel. I also loved seeing familiar faces return and getting more insight into the group dynamic. This series is already shaping up to be just as addictive as the last!

I first read Obsession when it was a serial as a Kindle Vella through Amazon, but this is Ms Berry's novelization of the series, and the wait was worth it.
Sara is tired.
She is tired of being the good little princess as her family views her.
She is tired of waiting for her older brother's friends to notice her. That means you, Wyatt.
Sara is going to start living her life as a young woman.
Understandably, this causes some angst for the brother's friends. Wyatt, Finn, and Dante all want to have Sara in their separate lives, but the newcomer Drew (yes - that Drew of the infamous dinner date in Private Listing) throws the option of all of them with her...with Sara's consent.
Consent and polyamorous relationships are two of CS Berry's absolutes. However, the story is never repetitious or cookie-cutter. Each relationship within the RH develops separately with its own weaknesses and strengths. Sara is fully cognizant to the optics and aware of her own experiences to overcome the challenges known in her love life. Once again - CS Berry hits a home run. Sara is the innocent FMC who is trying to lose her virginity to “get over” her brothers best friends that she was in love with or ousting after. But, danger lurks in the background and her brother’s disappearance pushes his best friends further into her world. And they stop following the rules her brother set in place and acting on their attraction. Add in Sara’s new bf, Drew, and there are 4 hot guys vying for her attention. This was why choose at its best - I love how much attention Sara received from these guys. Can’t wait for book 2 with that mic drop at the end!

This is my new obsession!!! I read this as a serial and was so excited to revisit the world of Sara, Donte, Finn, Wyatt and Drew. Her brother is missing and it must be bad for him to want them to take care of her. Will their loyalty to him be enough to stop them (what fun would that be). And boy do they make sure she is taken care of 🥵. This book has all the heat, angst and drama. These boys live rent free in my head!!! I can’t wait for the second book.

Obsession was my first read from CS Berry back on Kindle Vella and it firmly sucked me into the Berry-verse! Sara may not have experience in certain departments, but makes up for it with her willingness to try basically anything and everything. The dynamic she has with Dante, Finn and Wyatt, built up from years of friendship, is amazing and is truly realistic. Add in Drew and it’s a party! I can’t wait for the rest of the series to watch the bonds and love grow between characters.

Forbidden Obsession by C.S. Berry is the first of a four book series. C.S. has done it again!! This book is full of witty banter, spice and suspense. Sara and her guys have you engaged right from the start and keep you in suspense until the cliffhanger. Now I’m on edge waiting ‘patiently’ for the next book. C.S. Berry is the queen of cliffhangers and why chose romances, one of my most favorite authors. Looking forward to more of her books.

Girl, why do you do this to me? And why haven’t I learnt my lesson yet with all the other series/books… this was a pretty fast paced story line but omg it was sooo good , and that ending……… seriously why?? Cannot wait to see what book two entails!! Also I looove drew ! But also Finn!! And you know Dante! And Wyatt! Hmmm thanks for all that 🥵
