HONOR My perfect marriage is the perfect lie. While my movie-star husband screws his way through Hollywood, I smile for the cameras and play the devoted celebrity wife. Our family brand is worth millions, but I'm suffocating inside this gilded prison.
Then my mum gets terminal cancer, and I meet her insanely hot doctor. Noah doesn't want my autograph—he wants me naked by his pool. And after years of my husband's betrayals, I'm done being the good girl.
NOAH Honor Chapman has been my fantasy since medical school, but the real woman puts every tabloid photo to shame. Her shameless husband treats her like a marketing asset while he plays the field everywhere else.
She deserves worship, not neglect. When I proposition her under the Provençal stars, I'm offering more than just mind-blowing sex—I'm offering her everything she's been starved of.
What begins as a a chance for her to level the playing field becomes dangerously addictive for both of us. But when our secret threatens Honor's empire and her children's future, she faces the ultimate safe misery or dangerous freedom.
Most affairs are just sex.
This one is rebellion.
A Fair Affair was previously published with the same title under Elodie Hart's real name, Sara Madderson. Minor changes have been made to the content.
Affair sounds so tawdry. I was a little nervous going into this because when you know the plot of the story centers around something so taboo, it automatically feels a bit like you're guilty by association just for reading it. This wasn't tawdry though. Well, at least not on our main character's part. It was complex, complicated, and emotional. It seemed like a very human situation that I could understand how it happened.
Honor Chapman's got it all. The career, the gorgeous kids, the fabulous friends, the picturesque looks, and the smoking hot, action star husband Jackson James. She's got it all alright... on the surface. Jackson is a serial cheater. The couple's PR team is a well oiled machine, constantly being put to the test by Jackson's shenanigans. Why does Honor stay? Well, they've built a business empire together and she's convinced herself that she can look the other way if it means she's not constantly on the hook for sex. I mean, she loves her husband and he's smoking hot, but his sexual appetite is too much and frankly, she enjoys it not always being her problem. With her mum going into hospice and Jackson's latest affair making a very public spectacle, Honor is at her wit's end. Thankfully, hospice doctor Noah Thierry is there to help and has made himself available to Honor in more ways than just one. Just this one time, Honor is going to take something for herself, but she's going to have to make a decision - what she wants or what she's carefully curated all these years?
This just made me so happy. First I could not stop reading it. Secondly, Noah is so delicious I can hardly stand it. He's the perfect mix of sexy and sweet. Third, it was so easy to relate to Honor as a mom of two trying to do right by her family and prioritize everyone but herself. Absolutely LOVED it.
This is the first book in the Love in London series by Elodie Hart and follows Honor and Noah.
Noah is the book boyfriend everyone wants—sweet, sexy, and so very present in his relationship with Honor in every way. Honor goes through so much and is a study in what complacency can do to a person. Together they were electric.
This is not just a novel about infidelity - it’s a thought-provoking portrayal of the messiness of life and love. It’s poignant and nuanced with fascinating characters and a really compelling plot.
This book was emotional, steamy, and so well written, it’s unforgettable.
I’ve got a free copy of this book in exchange of my honest review and honest reviews are my thing so here we go. I really did t think I was going to be into this book. First and foremost because cheating is a big no on my book. But I loved Sara’s writing in A Very London Christmas so I was willing to give it a try. And it did not disappoint. The affair itself wasn’t anything torrid or disgusting and it was all so tasteful. Honor had all the reasons to get into it and seriously who could blame her? And then Noah. OH MY GOD NOAH. I am so in love with him. He’s such a gentleman and so got all in the same package. I want a Noah in my love fe ASAP. Another thing I loved about this book was the depiction of grieve. God it made me cry so much because I’ve been there loosing a love one to cancer and the way Sara took this subject and made it so full of feelings of grieve but love at the same time. It was beautiful. So I love it. The only reason it’s a four star it’s a grammatical one. It kinda annoyed me that it seems that maybe a first draft was written in the third person and then the final one is on the pov of the two mcs. So sometime in the middle of a sentence there was a third person mixed up. I really hope the final edition fixes this because it was disconcerting. Not a big deal in the big picture though. I extremely recommend this. And if you are like me and don’t like the cheating tripe please give this a try because it’s not a bad thing in this book and the reasons and development of the affair is super tasteful. P.s. that little introduction of the story for the next book left me 😍 can’t wait for it!!!
Review I love everything about Sara's writing. I need a Sorrell Farm in my life thats for sure.
I love that characters from past books make an appearance and you get an insight into what they are up to.
Honor is just a gorgeous character and I really warmed to her caring nature. I also read the bonus epilogue which I also loved and am excited to hear what happens in future installments from Sorrell Farm. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review Cancel EVERYTHING - read this book… I was ecstatic to receive a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review but I had no idea how it would mean all my plans would be put aside as it completely consumed me. I honestly couldn’t put it down. The book provides pure escapism into a glamorous celebrity lifestyle most would find enviable, however, it also shows the reality of what we see through the media can be the polar opposite of what we would actually want for ourselves. What the media portrays is a smokescreen from the reality of the situation. Film star, Jackson, and his daytime TV anchor wife, Honor, project a glamorous, doting happy family life but what their adoring fans don’t know is the reality of their life is carefully managed by a hidden team who filter the truth of their day to day lives. The characters in the book are so well written you feel like you know them and root for them or not (as the case may be). Although the book features the glitzy lifestyle of two major celebrities which is not something most of us have experience of it also touches on the topic sadly many of us can relate to and I myself have experienced - that of loosing a parent to cancer. The book shows no matter how wealthy or famous you are the harsh reality of dealing with a dying parent comes to us all and nothing can prevent the inevitable from happening. Having lost both my parents to cancer I cannot praise Sara enough for how well she covered this painful and cruel time whilst giving respect to such a serious topic. The book also covers an affair of which I have no experience of, but I strongly don’t approve of causing me to be very judgemental if I learn of someone I know of who has an affair. After reading this book it has changed my view of extra marital affairs - I will be less judgmental of them as you never know the truth behind someone having an affair. Read this book then see if it changes your mind. I truly can’t praise this book enough it’s been an exquisite joy to read and I can’t wait to the next book in this amazing series. This book will make you laugh and cry as well as having the best sex scenes imaginable! I’d love to see this book as a movie.
This was a great read. Honor feels genuine despite her billionaire celebrity lifestyle, and I even liked Noah, which is a rare thing as I usually despise male romantic leads.
cw: infidelity
part of a series, but written as a stand-alone complete story.
Another absolute cracker of a book from Sara Madderson! Champagne, sun, swoon and sizzle- I absolutely devoured this story! Highly recommend this utterly addictive new romance.
What do you do when your movie-star husband can’t stop cheating, your public image is more important than your feelings, and your world is shattered by your mum’s cancer diagnosis? That’s the impossible reality Honor Chapman faces.
When she moves her mum into a beautiful, unconventional hospice, she meets Noah — a compassionate, dishy doctor who sees past the celebrity façade to the real Honor. Their chemistry is undeniable, and what begins as a fling soon becomes so much more.
Honor’s struggle between duty and desire, image and authenticity, is raw and relatable. Noah is everything you could hope for in a book hero: kind, caring, and irresistibly sexy. Their story is full of heart-stopping moments that left me unable to put the book down.
A Fair Affair is not just a glamorous, steamy celebrity romance — it’s also a tender, respectful exploration of love, loss, and the courage to choose yourself, even in the face of heartbreak. This book delivers passion, emotion, and escapism in equal measure.
2.5⭐ - Totally on me. I'm going to outright say that this book wasn't my cup of tea. Like I liked Honor and Noah's relationship. But honestly, Jackson somehow wasn't the worst guy I've ever read. Yes he had his flaws with his affairs and his disregard for her mum and his obsession with his job but he wasn't evil if that makes sense. Just self centered. Yet somehow he was a loving husband (I'm sorry, maybe I'm just soft to men who cook 🤣) and a caring father. I honestly had such mixed feelings about him. And the fact that Honor doesn't fully really get over him is concerning to me. I did like that despite their differences, they were good at communicating and it didn't end with any unnecessary drama from Jackson about Noah. Just adults having a civilised conversation to end their marriage. Although why the flip it take 3 chapters to the end of the book for her to finally ask for a divorce like wtf? Anyways, I found the book not relatable in any way except for Honor's mum's death which is probably why I struggled a bit too. Overall, it was okay but it questioned my morals (although I'm 100% infidelity!)
This book has much going on involving relationships. Honor Chapman is married to a celebrity who is constantly cheating on her without apology. Their PR team has a full-time job managing how the public sees the lovely couple while film-star Jackson continues his selfish behavior at her expense. Now her mom is going into hospice and she has to deal with that while managing the household and the business. Noah and Honor get to know each other and he wants to help her.
By the time Noah offers his propositions to her, she has endured enough of her husband’s embarrassing activities that she is willing to accept something for herself. Noah is an amazing, caring person. He is there for her and makes all the difference in how she faces what could have crushed her spirit. Where will they go from here? Or was this just a brief stopping point before life continues on as usual?
What a wild ride! I absolutely love this book. First, the writing is gorgeous!! The characters are so beautiful and sexy and clever. And the scenes are just decadently stunning.
Honor Chapman has it all - fame, fortune, beauty, kids, a successful business…oh, and a cheating Adonis of a husband.
Noah is a doctor specializing in palliative care and runs a clinic for his patients to live the rest of their lives in a beautiful way, filled with love and luxury and family. And, Noah is also gorgeous and well built and so very sexy.
When these two meet, the attraction is fire! The slow burn, the marriage complication, the addiction to one another. This book has it all.
I never thought I’d be interested in a book that is about infidelity but this book had me gripped. Honor has been married for 14 years to her movie star husband who is cheating on her left and right. Her mum is dying of cancer and has moved into a hospice run by handsome Dr Noah. Her friends think why should Honor’s husband be the only one to have all the fun and she starts an affair with Noah. There is a good amount of spice in this book and it doesn’t detract from the storyline at all. It was definitely emotional in places but I really loved it.
This book gave me all the feels and I loved every moment. I highly recommend picking it up. I thought the story to be heart felt, moving and profound in dealing with certain aspects of the storyline. And the spice, let's talk about the spice. The author found an excellent balance of spice - you will not be disappointed. Sara delivers on descriptive prose and I could absolutely picture the book in my head; breath taking locations, fancy clothes and fabulous characters. But most of all, to me, this book is about love; love between mother and daughter, the love between sisters, love of the comfort of a good friendship, old love and new love. I don't give many 5 star reviews but this book deserves it. Now, run, don't walk to pick-up your copy.
In exchange for an honest review I received an ARC of this book.
great story. I really enjoyed the hospice element of the book and how Honor worked through all the turmoil in her life. Noah is such a sweet swoony man.
Sara does it again! I devoured another one of her books in less than 24 hours. After reading Falling Stars I had to read another one of her books and I was not disappointed. The girl can write a love story while intertwining real life hardships in the most amazing way. I wasn’t sure how I would like this book as the title would seem to give away the plot of the story and I don’t condone affairs and feel kinda icky reading about them. However, this story is not what I was expecting. I adored this book and characters in it. I love that to her characters from other books make appearances, as well! My only complaint is I wish she hard more books to read!!
I was kindly sent this by the author as a ARC for free in exchange for an honest review!
After being a fan of Parents and Teachers by Madderson I couldn’t wait to get into this! It didn’t take me long to remember who Honor and Jackson were and their story in the previous novel. You don’t need to have read the previous novel to follow the story. The story between Noah and Honor just had me hooked from the beginning. I loved the writing, the layout and the new additional characters. One thing I didn’t like was the relationship between Jackson and how Honor just let him get away with so much! It was a predictable ending, but one I couldn’t wait to see how it played out. The sizzling sex scenes throughout the book were written tastefully and made tin fall in love with their relationship even more. I would have loved a little bit more of an epilogue, but loved how the perfect Sunday was added in to the end. Can’t wait to read what Madderson writes next!
I went into it cause I was feeling vindictive(about why only men cheat in books), but I could not focus on the main couple. I was just so incensed with the husband(Jackson)'s ways. I could not get past that. So it is established that they have an unconventional marriage. Alright. Jackson basically craves sex and since Honor(FL) has a lower appetite for it they go for the arrangement where J is allowed to sleep around. But this hurts and humiliates H as it makes headlines every next day. Does J care? No. He also fell in love with a teacher while sleeping with her and them BOOM. After all this don't you think its better to just divorce. NO. They keep going with whatever mindf*ckery this is. The children get hurt by the media shitstorm that his affairs create, his daughter hears her classmate saying that J has a gf which is not his mother. But again you would think he would take measures as he is supposed to be at least a good father. I don't get it why they stayed married.
Anyways during the final scene between them when J knows about H and Noah's relationship, I was waiting some some real conversation and closure. Guess what they just parted ways without any bitterness after 14 yrs of marriage. Again if it was that easy, why didn't they divorce already? They could have saved the world from the nightmare that is marriage. I liked the main couple but it felt rushed(maybe I was reading fast).
These parts could have been executed better. If you showing an open relationship make sure to carry it out better.

I’m doing a re-read of the entire Love In London Series by Sara Madderson. I’m happy to report it’s every bit as good, perhaps even better, the second time around. Kind of like love…
I appreciate the gorgeous storytelling in this book. I absolutely empathize with Honor at having to face her mother’s death. I had some eerily similar and incredible experiences with my own mother and I’m so grateful for how sensitively Sara handles it in this book.
I’m also very glad that Honor and Noah, who are deeply perfect for each other, found their happiness in each either.
I’d do I still wish for Jackson to have his comeuppance and redemption? Yep. That’s what fan fiction is for, I suppose… I am also very grateful Honor felt remorse at how she handled herself in Parents and Teachers. Love wants who it wants
And yes, thankfully Honor recognized that her happiness was far more important than her brand. Her mother was wise. And Honor wisely followed her mother’s advice.
Such a lovely book. Fall in love with Sara’s books as much as I have.
This book was not for me, I don’t even know why I bothered to finish it. While I appreciated the care taken to write the mom/palliative aspect, honestly, I couldn’t find anything to like about Honor. She came across as snooty, money hungry, selfish and oblivious. It sickened me that she had so little respect for herself and her children, that she allowed her cheating husband to humiliate them in front of the world on a weekly basis. And her solution to the problem? Beginning her own affair. I was actually surprised that Noah was willing to start a physical affair right off the bat; I saw their story unfolding with an emotional connection that grew over time with Honor slowly realizing how unbearable her marriage really was and how much more she and kids deserved. I have been a big fan of Elodie Hart, and I’m so grateful this was not my first read as I likely would not have bothered with future books.
I’m not a fan of the cheating troupe. And normally I’d not bother with a book where that is the main theme. But as Elodie is the author, and she is one of my favs, I thought I’d give it a go. I’m glad I did. I really liked this story of finding love when you least expect it. And the journey to happiness for the FMC Honor - especially during such an emotionally difficult time for her.
I didn’t particularly like Jackson, but I’m guessing I’m not supposed to. 😉 I’ll take a Noah any day!
A Fair Affair is a nice, fun, easy read, with a good amount of spice thrown in.
Would recommend it if you need something light to read after a dark/heavy book, or if you’re someone who loves romances.
I honestly didn’t want to like this book — it’s about a married woman who falls in love with someone NOT her husband. Not exactly romance material, right?!? And yet, having briefly seen Jackson & Honor in the previous book, I knew their marriage wasn’t normal. And yet, they did love each other. This book was fantastic & had me cheering for everyone to just make the hard choices in order to be HAPPY. And Honor has very good reasons to stay married to Jackson in spite of his continued infidelity. And Noah is so perfect for her. *sigh* I rooted for them the entire time even though it meant breaking up a marriage. Even a fictional marriage.
Honor Chapman (her name makes me think of a Bond girl) is a former TV presenter who got married to Jackson James, a movie icon and an absolute heartthrob. Now she's a committed mother and celebrity wife, and runs her own cosmetics company. Their marriage is an open arrangement, as far as Jackson sleeping around freely with various co-stars, while Honor holds the fort and manages the children. She tells herself that she doesn't mind Jackson's infidelity as long as he keeps it off the press, but the battle with the press wears on her. Her mother and sister think that he is a rather useless husband but a lot of people are starstruck by him. He never apologizes, he's just naturally so self-absorbed that he just takes everything Honor does as his due.
On a sad but less sordid note, Honor's mother is dying of cancer. Noah is the doctor in a hospice mom gets transferred to. He is also the son of a family friend, and Honor and Noah meet on a brief break at his mother's house in France. A scandal with Jackson and one of his girlfriends breaks while they're in France, and Noah is incensed on Honor's behalf. He questions her about why she tolerates Jackson's behavior. She is rather tired of it, to be honest, and feels like she has the right to some adventures of her own after everything Jackson's done. Noah is smart, passionate, sweet and caring, attractive and giving, and he can thrill her in a way that the selfish Jackson was never able to. But when they get home, the paparazzis make it difficult to continue seeing each other. Honor is grieving both her mother and Noah at the same time, and wondering whether the mayhem with Jackson is really worth it.
I liked the way Honor's grief and feelings of loss were written. Usually stories featuring cheating are a hard sell for me but this book makes a pretty good job of making the characters sympathetic. Jackson had no right to complain, and all the other upheaval in Honor's life made it understandable she'd crave comfort and intimacy where she could get it. And Noah is really quite sweet. I loved the last conversation Honor had with her mother.
The book is part of a series that I have not read but it stands well alone.
I read an ARC copy I got from the author and it seems like this book may have been written in the third person point of view at first and then converted into first person point of view, because it still bleeds through in some of the pronouns (e.g. hers, herself or his in place of my, myself etc.) I really hope most of that got corrected before publication.
This book was previously published under the name Sara Madderson.

The book stands well alone but there are references to characters from other books.
Steam level: The books that came out as Madderson titles are less taboo than Hart's Alchemy/Seraphin series
I received an early copy the first time around and voluntarily copied my review for this incarnation of the book.
4.5 stars Love me some Elodie Hart, and A Fair Affair is my first foray into Sara Madderson (She’s re-branding her SM books under her Elodie Hart pen-name for this series.) I love the decadent, kinky, glamorous style of her Alchemy and Seraph books, and didn’t start the SM books, thought they were more tame … but I’m here to say I wish I’d checked out SM books sooner and I’m about to binge the whole Love in London books ASAP. No crazy kink, but the swoon factor is swooning with Dr Noah. Elodie Hart’s writing is so well done, intelligent, I love how she OBVIOUSLY puts effort into research for her books because it gives them a credibility authors should strive for.
Sara Madderson/ Elodie Hart gives us some glam, strong MCs with brains and compassion and chemistry, and apart from the relationship that buds with the MCs, the side story is what brought me. As someone who had the briefest journey of palliative care with my dad, I’m talking hours, and have an aging mother, the emotions of this got me. The romance was lovely, but I can’t stop thinking about how beautifully the hospice scenario was done, and if any of my life situations take a turn (me, husband, family,) it’s a kick in the a$$ to get a move on what could be/ what if. OK enough said about that. I had tears and that’s a rarity for me.
Triggers and mildly spoiler-ish if you didn’t catch it from the blurb: Infidelity (both spouses, but the MFC is aware and not blindsided, and both spouses have an agreement for lifestyle preservation. It’s not some huge traumatic thing.) I’d say it’s about as tastefully written as infidelity could be, if you’re on the fence. Illness/ death of a parent in palliative care then hospice.
So listen up all of you that find cheating tropes cringy, since I’d imagine a cheating trope is a trigger for many, and justly so. It’s not my favorite… AND If you already know that and are against what you might find due to a pre-conceived idea, then don’t bother because it’s pretty obvious in the title and blurb. Low reviews because you knew and went in anyway is some bullsh$t. It’s cool to dislike a thing, but to go in with eyes open THEN rip something apart .. nah. Just opt out. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
A Fair Affair is the first novel in the Love in London series, which explores the themes of grief, consequences of fame, introspection and convoluted marital relationships.
I'm always a little uncomfortable with stories about infidelity and affairs. But Elodie was able to meticulously and tactfully reconstruct this story, making it both palatable and enjoyable to read. That's a victory for me. This novel will have you on the edge of your seat because of its intricacy, challenges, and emotional journey.
Honor Chapman possesses everything. An attractive, renowned husband, a prosperous businesswoman, and adorable children. However, beneath the elegant and attractive façade, she is a vulnerable woman who is at wits' end over her husband's extramarital escapades. Her plate is full with the scandal, the media hysteria, and her mother's move into hospice care. Enter Doctor Noah Thierry, the owner of the hospice care and a longtime admirer of Honor. This man will do anything to make her happy, even if it means crossing the line of the forbidden, and his love and support for her will make you fall in love with him.
The title alone says it all. However, wait till you've finished reading this book before casting judgment. This is not just a novel about infidelity and extramarital affairs. Honor's portrayal not only reveals an inside look into the personal lives of celebrities and the struggles that they suffer behind their glamorous facades and appealing Kodak beams, but it additionally highlights her resilience and fortitude in surviving the obstacles in her life. If I were in her position, I would have absolutely no idea what I would do. Elodie's empathic writing of this book, which also addresses the realities of grieving, serves as a reminder that life is full of inescapable instances, regardless of one's social standing.
A Fair Affair is a thought-provoking book that highlights the messiness of love and the intricacy of open relationships while poignantly conveying the nuances of life through its scorching chemistry, fascinating characters, and delightful plot. A must-read for romance novel fans aiming for plots with emotional beats.
I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy and am sharing my honest review based on my personal experience. Thank you to Elodie for trusting me to read this book in advance.
Going into Fair Affair, I was not prepared for the emotional whirlwind this story would take me on. From the very beginning, learning that Honor’s husband, Jackson, had been cheating on her for basically their entire marriage — and that they had some kind of twisted “understanding” about it — had me absolutely reeling. Cheating is a sensitive topic for me, so I didn’t know how to react or what to expect next.
Then came the gut-punch: her mom is sick and in need of hospice care. The weight of those two emotional blows right at the start was a lot.
As the story went on, I watched Honor slowly try to take back some control over her life. Her affair with Noah was complicated for me to process at first — because cheating back isn’t a healthy solution — but I tried to see it from another perspective. Honor was deeply unhappy in her marriage. Jackson claimed to love her but repeatedly cheated on her, humiliating her in public. Noah, on the other hand, allowed her to simply be. He gave her space to be soft, to feel cared for, and to be seen as a woman again.
Her growing feelings for Noah, her desire to distance herself from her husband completely, and his kindness towards her mother really melted me. The emotional connection between Honor and Noah was intense and beautiful, and Elodi Hart brought it to life perfectly.
Of course, the spice was a 5/5 — as expected from Elodie Hart — but the emotional depth is what truly stayed with me. The ending was everything I could have wanted. Honor finally listened to her mother’s advice, and that perfect “unicorn” touch at the end? Absolute chef’s kiss.
Fair Affair was raw, emotional, and incredibly well written. It had me feeling everything — anger, sadness, longing, and joy — and I’m so glad I read it.
The theme of this book is cheating. Not a great start. Jackson, an actor and womanizer who says he still adores his wife, Honor, who has a big biz of her own (and their 2 children, boy and girl) stay in thr marriage because it's convenient for their "brand", another strike against it. She stays because of branding and biz. Hello, car 54, where are you? It would nasty enough if no children were involved. Another thing when your basically both teaching your youngster, 1) son. It's fine to treat women like that and they should accept it. Wife, yes, son, it's perfectly fine to cheat and women will take it. 2) daughter: it's normal for a man to cheat and defile your rep with other women...and you should look for a man that'll treat you as such. Yeeeah, very poor form. So, this book was an epic fail for my part. Noah was a decent saving grace...even though he was part of the whole cheat circle. His love DID make Honor see the error, somewhat, of her ways. She was worth more than an unfaithful, albeit, husband who said he loved her. The two of them, both Honor and Jackson were not likable, a crash and burn from the beginning. Im also kinda sick of the MFC always being drop dead gorgeous. There are few and far between women like that. Having a woman who average, but with a celestial personality and inner beauty would be original at this point. I loved a Very London Christmas...that was just perfection. This was my second read in this series...not sure i wanna try another one. Maybe I'll risk it consider the London Christmas one was so enjoyable and sweet.
So, i love Elodies Alchamy and Seraph series books so I thought I'd try this series. I honestly didn't like this book. Sorry Elodie!
*** soft spoilers ahead. ***
the First thing we learn about Honour is that she doesn't want to have sex more than like once a week with her husband... the apparently super hot super star so they have an understanding that he can have affairs so long as the press only sees her family as perfect.
then she decides to have an affair... I mean i kinda get that she had an attraction to someone new but seriously it seemed sudden and in bad taste with her mum dying of cancer and her focusing more on herself and going on holidays.. her poor sister Ally should have been the one going on holiday.
I also couldn't get a handle on the age of her kids which kept tripping me up every time they came on the page.
Then her husband made me so confused.
I got more chemistry off the page between Honour and Jackson than I ever did from her and Noah.
i was routing for her to realise after her affair that she wanted to make it work with her husband.. forgive him and then for him to fall back in love with her and never want to touch another woman other than his wife...
Noah made me uncomfortable and gave me the ick most of the time...
this book just gave me a lot of mixed feelings and I couldn't enjoy it or get into it.
