A good primary source on Canadians in Italy, as well as training in Canada and garrison in the UK during World War II.
The author detailed his recruitment, leisure, combat, and socialisation well, showing his astute memory of the War.
I recommend it to readers interested in WW2 and Canada in the global conflict.
