Let Go, Let God: A 40-Day Devotional about Surrendering Your Problems to God

Rate this book
Some problems in life are too big for us to bear mentally. This is why Jesus told us to not worry about tomorrow.

Not worrying is a nice idea, but how do we do it?

There are so many issues that come up in life, like various stressors, unresolved problem, loved ones on self-destruct mode, needing more faith, struggles with mental health or emotional traumas, and decisions about work and relationships. Millions of other problems could be listed here.

Sometimes, these challenges can be crushing to our hearts and minds, leaving us with little or no hope.

If only we had the power to immediately solve these problems in the exact way we want. But unfortunately, we don’t have that power.

Or, is it unfortunate? Maybe it's not unfortunate at all.

Maybe God has something wonderful in store for you that your mind cannot imagine or comprehend at this time. Maybe He’s working something out for your good that you can’t fathom.

After all, He is the only one who can see all outcomes and possibilities. He is the only one who can guide you on the right paths.

Some problems - no matter how hard we try or to what lengths we go - simply cannot be resolved by human means. These types of problems must be surrendered to God.

This devotional consists of a daily scripture followed by a reading about the scripture. You’ll learn to let go and let God so you can live with more peace between your ears.

Let Go, Let God is more than just a catch phrase. It's a way of life. This is about giving your problems to God.

Ready your heart to experience the peace that comes from surrendering your problems to Him.

This was such a needed read for the start of a new year.

Nic Saluppo beautifully weaves Scripture with personal life experiences, creating a deeply reflective and grounding book.

Let Go, Let God is richly Scripture-based, thoughtfully written, and quietly powerful in the way it invites you to pause and look inward. I loved how it gently highlights the many ways anxiety, fear, and life’s constant ups and downs often take the lead instead of the One who is meant to guide us.

While the book calls for honest introspection, it also teaches grace (toward ourselves and toward others). Each chapter includes a practical exercise with self-reflection prompts, followed by a prayer and clear guidance on how to begin implementing these changes in daily life. It never feels overwhelming, only intentional and encouraging.

If you find yourself leaning too heavily on your own understanding, feeling anxious about the future, or longing to truly surrender control and let God lead, this book is one I wholeheartedly recommend.

Letting go and letting God

This book has taught me, or rather reminded me of the importance of letting go and fully surrendering to God. It's not an easy process by any means, but surely a fulfilling one. I needed to remember that without God it's impossible to do some things, but with God and securely in Him, I can do the impossible. Thank you for the reminder
