5-Star Review: I was so lucky to be offered an ARC of this book by the author, and I’m so glad I took the opportunity to dive in. This book was an absolute gem. Super easy to read and a complete page-turner that had me hooked from the very first chapter. The dynamic between the three girls; Kassie, Casey, and Caitlyn was everything! I loved the way they worked through it together. Kassie and Casey’s friendship in particular really stole my heart. I found myself rooting for them the entire time, hoping they’d stay friends! The book had so many twists and turns, there were moments when I sat back and said, "Woah, what just happened?!" And don’t even get me started on Phil… he totally deserved what he got. This book is one I devoured in just a few sittings, and I loved every single part of it. I honestly can’t recommend it enough to my friends and fellow readers. If you’re looking for a quick yet satisfying read, that will keep you hooked the whole time this book is definitely one you don’t want to miss!

This book is so good. Everytime I thought i was caught up and could figure everything out the author threw something else in the mix. There is suspense that leaves you staying up way too late just so you can find out what happened. The writing is done well and the author keeps the reader engaged in the story throughout the book. Will Kassie and her friends be able to convince the jury or anyone else that she is innocent of murder?
I was honored to receive the Arc Guilty from the author. I had not read the other two Prestige and Deceit but I went to do my research and discovered what had happened. This thriller will Keep you on your toes. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen with Kassie. I would recommend reading in order. Go ahead and add all three to your TBR. Thanks again to Catherine Frendt for the opportunity to read your book. 📕
We recently finished book 3 in The Oxford series by Catherine Frendt and we are sad to see it come to an end. What a journey it has been with our two main gal pals Casey and Kassie.
We dont want to give too much away as this is a crime thriller series with the wonderful Pretty Little Liars and How To Get Away With Murder Vibes. What we will say is - just when we thought book 2 was unhinged and crazy enough, book 3 threw in more twists and turns! Guilty does a good job at showcasing the lengths you'd go for a loved one and the broad spectrum of reactions to an extraordinary situation. It was interesting and exciting to see our characters unravel (or find their resolve) as the story comes to its epic conclusion. We were reading as quickly as we could to see how it all winds up! A great way to start spooky season!
For crime thriller fans, this is a fun and easy to read series, full of shocks and mysteries. Be sure to check out Prestige and Deceit before reading this one!
I was lucky to be gifted an ARC of this book and I really enjoyed the premise and the overall plot, however, I think a few things were confusing (the girls names, for instance) and I found it difficult to get into. Still a great read, very mysterious
Hi! I'm the author of Guilty. This is the third book in the series and I worked REALLY hard on this book. I've learned so much throughout the process of writing this series and I can thoroughly say that I progressively got better and stronger as I wrote these books. 🫀
I hope you love reading these books as much as I loved writing them. 🔪
