A short story prequel to the Pixie for Hire by Cedar Sanderson. Lom is detective searching for users of magic that needs to be returned to the Underhill. Takes place in historical (about 1960) Cincinnati and Covington, and includes many historical Easter eggs. An added bonus are Sanderson's illustrations. I'm looking forward to reading more in the series.

what a wonderful pre-Bella story!

Ms. Sanderson has written a wonderful short pre-Bella story with Lom. His life and his work prior to Bella has always been shrouded in mystery. This lets out some of his secret past.

Ms. Sanderson has woven a tight story using a great deal of known history. That was a wonderful twist. I would love to see more short stories like this. Maybe a short story collection?????

This whole series is a wonderful collection and definitely a must buy!

Excellent prequel to Pixie Noir

I’ve read most everything Cedar Sanderson’s published. Following Trouble is entertaining and, like most all her work, highly spirited. It’s a great context piece and a flat-out fun read!

Nice to expand upon the who and what of Lom. Look forward to more pre-Bella stories. Hope for one where we find out the origin of his name.
