I liked this pair from the beginning and that chemistry that built over the story. They both were just made for each other. This books contains all we love in the Seabreeze Cove Mysteries, Mayhem, intrigue, small town feeling and romance while trying to figure out 'who done It'. Its a wonderful story that will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next in Seabreeze Cove.
I was offered a ARC copy of this book by the author for my honest review. Which I have given freely and used my own thoughts.
This book surprised me in the best way. I went in expecting a light mystery with some tech elements, but Digital Hearts & Deceptions turned out to be much deeper and more engaging than I anticipated. The idea of history being quietly erased through code is unsettling, and the story makes it feel disturbingly plausible.
Virginia and Michael are both well-developed and believable. I really enjoyed how their professional skills complemented each other, and the slow-building trust between them felt natural rather than rushed. The small-town setting added warmth and contrast to the high-stakes digital threat, which made the tension even more effective.
What stood out most was how the book blended cybersecurity, mystery, and romance without one overpowering the others. The tech elements were clear enough to follow without being overwhelming, and the emotional stakes gave real weight to the mystery. Overall, this was an absorbing, smart, and emotionally grounded read that kept me turning pages until the end. I’d happily read more stories set in this world.
I have really enjoyed the little town of Seabreeze Cove and its unique history, adding Victoria and Michael was a interesting twist . I liked the digital forensics, cyber world and hacking storyline, this one brought to the table. I loved the way the town welcomed each of them individually, watching them grow closer as the mystery unfolds and how Michael's history kept them grounded in Seabreeze Cove. This was a sweet little read that I thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend.
