It was okay. Quick read.
Nitpicks -
-I rather have the club whores be called "sweet butts" than "cut sluts," but that's just my preference.
-I know this is fiction, but if you are going to have anal, then write it properly. You can't just stick it in and things be great, this isn't a porn shoot where ppl are already prepped and ready to go. 🙄
-If you witnessed a cartel hit and they're after you, it's not a good idea to go to your side-job of dogwalker and show up at innocent people's homes. To think you can go about your life as usual (Chaos tells her no), when they know your name, place of work and where you live is beyond stupid.
-There was no mention of the cartel problem in the epilogue, like what happened with them? It only mentioned the traitor problem.
-Can't complain about the insta-love as it was listed and advertised. Just know things occur quickly including the I love yous.

CHAOS is Book 1 of the Renegade Kings MC, Detroit Chapter series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, forced-proximity, girl gets her protective biker romance...and it's a fast-paced, hot start to the new series. Rowan is a strong but struggling girl dealing with a sick grandma and a mountain of debt. When she witnesses a cartel killing, she also becomes a target. Chaos, the President of the Renegade Kings MC finds her scared in a dumpster and knows he will do anything to keep her safe. Both characters have their struggles and feel broken, but together they are able to help heal each other. The danger and drama were intense, the chemistry was hot, and we ended on a happy note. I can't wait for more books in this series. I loved it.

Chaos finds Rowan cowering in a dumpster, terrified by the violence she just witnessed. All I kept thinking was, let this girl take a shower!!! I loved how Chaos claimed Rowan immediately and made everyone aware of it. What I am so tired of is these club ho's. Why? Why do they need to be there? At least Kandi should have been dealt with for her disrespect (which Chaos demanded Rowan receive from everyone) and how she hid her phone, oops she said. She needed to be booted out of the clubhouse! Other than the whole CW aspect, I loved the suspense and drama in the story!.

Chaos is book one in Oona Ryda’s new Renegade Kings MC series. This is an insta-love short story written in third person that features young struggling student, dog walker and pharmacist’s assistant, Rowan, and Jace “Chaos” Harlow, the President of the Renegade Kings MC.
Finding Rowan was unexpected. But falling for her and protecting her from those looking to end her life came naturally for this possessive alpha, Will they get their happily ever after? It was a quick, very enjoyable and heartwarming read with a good amount of action and suspense.
This was an amazing start to this great new MC series. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The men are intense but gentle and committed and I’m looking forward to learning how the rest of the club meets their Old Ladies.

Enjoyable but there’s a lot of things missing and mistakes. The beginning of the book is dreary.
I’m actually surprised that I did enjoy this in the end. It’s not brilliant and there’s a lot of things wrong with it, annoying little things like who cooks the mc’s meals? Meals just appear without any explanation, Rowan loses her phone at the beginning of the book then she’s texting Chaos. Where did the phone come from?
At the beginning of the book Rowan’s life is dreary. (This author loves her downtrodden women.) She works two jobs while paying for a care home for her grandmother, and training to be a either a pharmacy technician at the beginning of the book or a pharmacist later on. On her way home late at night she witnesses two men being murdered by the cartel. The hitmen see her and she’s chased but manages to escape and hide in trash. The men were part of the Renegade Kings Mc who were in the warehouse. When Chaos drags her out of the garbage he instantly knows Rowan is his. Eeeewww. 🤮 Rowan is soon living at the clubhouse and everything is great, apart from the cartel are trying to track her down. Soon Chaos and Rowan are having endless sex, and of course Rowan was a virgin. 🥱🥱
One thing that really annoyed me. IF YOU’RE GOING TO WRITE ABOUT AN*L S*X, DO IT RESPONSIBLY AND WITH CARE!!! He just shoved it in with NO lube!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Rowan never thought she would find herself in that position of witnessing a murder and then running for her life. Now she is on the back of the bike of Chaos the President after he has saved her. This is so well-written once you turn the first page you will be totally hooked and not want to put it down. I am already looking forward to the following books that go with this new series. I loved the chemistry and the instant fall for the woman. The action is non-stop and keeps you on the edge of your seat while you wait to see what happens. This is a must read!!!

This was a fab series opener that brings Rowan, a gal who witnessed a horrible crime, and Chaos/Jace, prez of the Renegade Kings MC, together. He may not engage with the club bunnies, but he's also not into forever. Until, that is, he rescues poor Rowan from a dumpster, traumatized and terrified. He's quickly OTT for her and sets out to get her to realize he's it for her, too ;P With action, danger, betrayal, suspense, found family and hot romance, this was a one-sit read for me. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book :D

Could have been excellent
This was a short story, so obviously, a lot had to be put into a little space. I truly believe that if this storyline was expanded and more depth added, I would have loved this book. It had such a good storyline, but I couldn't really get into it as everything happened, so fast but with only a small amount of detail. The characters were appealing, and you wanted to read their story, but again, details. It's a good short read if that is what you like, and a good, not so overwhelming introduction to the MC world of books.

It's love at first sight for Chaos when he finds a woman in the trash bin who witnessed the execution of two of his MC brothers. Great story!!
This is the first book in a new series and this story is a great beginning.
This is a well written action packed, easy to read story, with found family, friendships, emotions, secrets, betrayal, challenges, intrigue, humour, undeniable chemistry and love which leads to an entertaining and unpredictable addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I'm not sure. It was an okay story. It was quick read and very fast paced. Minor details need to be corrected. She has double locks and a chain on her door, yet he breaks in with no noise. He gets shot between the eyes, yet he is windmilling and trying to grab onto someone. There are other things. Somehow, I never got their ages.

Rowan and Chaos’s story has them coming together after finding her hiding from the mafia. But as the MC help to keep her safe these two fall for each other. A good MC story filled with danger, violence, heat, loyalty and determination of broken souls healing each other.

Chaos & Rowan. Good story. Not the cheesy insta-love that you usually get. A little over the top on the “go along with whatever I tell you in front of people and don’t ever question me” but still good drama and a good love story.

C’est tres formidable! Chaos est tres beau et je lui aime. C’est un club de moto 1%. Les hommes sont tres dangereaux mais Chaos est tendre avec Rowan. J’ai aimé ce livre.
