With the sage wisdom gained from developing his own church’s apostolic model, Alain Caron shares on how to transform today's churches into dynamic training and sending centers. Really great overview of the Apostolic Reformation

A good, sensitive, grounded and humble description of one man’s journey into and around the Apostolic Reformation. It is worth reading if only to gain a perspective and template for how post-Christendom churches and networks are forming and finding each other to partner together for the Harvest.

An army of the Lord is being trained on how to defend and protect humanity from the enemy who seeks to destroy all that is good. This army knows how to infiltrate, occupy, and transform by eradicating the source of oppression caused by our spiritual enemies who are defiant to the laws of the kingdom of God. This book is a road map on the logistics of building such an army and sending them out into various spheres of society. Here's a quote from the book that really encapsulates the message.

HEAVEN’S HEADQUARTERS
The rising of apostolic centers is coming to change the whole paradigm we have been using. God is moving ahead with the next phase of His plan to see His kingdom come on earth. Apostles, surrounded by apostolic teams, will now have the bases of operations they need to activate and release the saints to impact their cities and regions, touching every sphere of society. These apostolic bases are heaven’s headquarters to transform the world we live in.

What we will then see is an alignment principle starting to operate in the body of Christ. Leaders with various gifts and ministries will respond to the Holy Spirit’s promptings to take their proper places in the global structure God has for His church. Local congregations will be connected to life-giving apostolic centers, and networks will multiply, but instead of acting independently, they will develop interdependently. Apostles and prophets, linked together and solidly grounded in Jesus, will carry a tremendous authority to order the decrees of God to be enforced on the earth. More than a revival, this will be a kingdom being prepared for the Lord.

I am hovering between 2 and 4 stars. The last chapter sets out an awesome vision of the potential of the local church to look beyond souls, to seeing the kingdom coming in different spheres of life. In one sense I was unclear how his own church structure change to a mission focused leadership and the content of apostolic resourcing centres were entirely linked. Also he didn't talk much about how his church had been resourcing others...It almost felt like an apostolic centre was the equivalent of a Bishop. I will update my review following the discussion with my friend who is reading it at the same time!!!

Great apostolic book!

Great book to transition your church body into the apostolic. Great comparisons from the Bible that apply into today's church.
