An update on the Echoes of Eternity series:

Hi booksties!

Well, I think we’ve learned the hard way that vampire fantasy is not my strength as a writer, and while it was difficult to come to terms with at first, I’ve learned that it’s okay! That’s the beauty of a writing career and the fun of experimenting. Things don’t always go as planned.

When I started the EoE series, I wanted it to be this EPIC vampire fantasy and to be honest, I know it fell flat and didn’t necessarily meet reader expectations. I’ve struggled a lot with writing Queen of the Wicked, because I wanted it to be good, but honestly, the characters, the story, the writing style, none of it has been working for me. QOTW was originally meant to be longer and contain more depth than KOTD, but it just isn’t coming to me that way and I’m sorry for that.

Because I feel so strongly that this series isn’t my best work, I have permanently reduced the price of the ebooks of the Echoes of Eternity series to $2.99 each, which is the lowest Amazon will allow in its current pay structure for these titles. I will look into additional pay structures to try and reduce it further. (If you preordered QOTW at the original price, you can cancel and reorder at the new price). This series will remain on KU and will also participate in free book promotions when I feel appropriate.

The good news? This series has helped me discover what my strengths are as a writer, and because of that, I’m happy to announce that I have SIX books releasing in 2026 that will be a better reflection of my writing abilities.

Thanks for sticking with me while I discover my place in the writing world. You all rock.

With Love,
Ariel N(uisance) Anderson

I loved this very quick paced vampire read.
I finished it in one sitting and I am incredibly thankful she gave me the opportunity to read this ARC.

It’s got dangerous power plays, irresistible chemistry, a why choose situation and a badass MFC who embraces her strength and the darkness inside her instead of letting it destroy her.

I love that Ariel was open with her readers in the fact she struggled writing these two books and that she knows it wasn’t her best work.
But I absolutely love her as an author and she will always be on my auto buy list. I love her writing and how genuine and real she is with her fans - so if she writes it I’m going to read it.
I can’t wait to see what she decides to give us next.

Ariel if I can give you one piece of feedback you take - give yourself a little more credit even if you believe you struggled writing these books I still absolutely loved reading it. 🫶🏻

I'll start by saying that if Ariel writes it, I will absolutely be reading it. I knew going into this that Ariel had stated in her own review that she struggled with this series. I feel like the story was there, it just needed a depth she wasn't able to find. I think this definitely had the potential to be the epic novel she intended. Where it fell a little short for me was in the character development and world building. I wanted more backstory, a deeper dive into our characters and their past and present traumas and trepidations. I wanted to learn more about the magic and the Priestesses and Eternity. I wanted more of the relationship between Rowan and Kaius, as well as the development of the relationship between the three. I think the story just felt rushed and it was hard to fully immerse myself in the world and the characters. Overall, I enjoyed the story being told and the world she was creating, I just wanted more of it.

Let me just start off by saying the performance for this is extremely amazing. I knew the narration was gonna be good, but it took me by surprise with certain chapters where I had to go back and re-listen because it’s that good!

So with that being said, it’s a phenomenal story. You must read the first book in the series to read this one.

This gave me all of the feels I wanted for a fantasy/dark romance.

The FMC is going through a certain amount of things that are challenging, which comes with the journey of everything from her POV & the MMCs. It picks up right after the first book, which is great since you feel like you never left the world.

Kaius and Rowan are both strong MMCs. In my head, they bounce off of each other—such as one brings to the table what the other one doesn’t in certain moments.

What to expect with this story: character growth, story development, lots of chaos, emotional impact, and small details connecting perfectly like a puzzle.

The story is told beautifully. The author has done an amazing job of creating this world and putting it together in a sense of, “Oh, that’s why this happens!?”

From start to end, I was intrigued with each chapter and each moment. I truly enjoyed every moment of this.

Narration-wise, it’s phenomenal. Everyone did a great job. The creative energy definitely shows with this narration—everyone delivered with the roles they had.

0.5/5 🌶️

Let me just start by saying I DEVOURED King of the Damned. I listened to the audio, which was phenomenal. I was so excited to see where book 2 led. I know Ariel had voiced about difficulty in writing these series, but I love her writing with previous books, so I had all the faith and support ❤️

I think this conclusion of the story was overall satisfying. I was a little surprised when I saw the length of this book, assuming it would be longer. It was fast paced, but still with twists and turns; which I really liked. I think Ariel’s writing and way with words is just so phenomenal. This book had a lot of potential, but she just had a hard time capturing it. The biggest thing I would have loved to have seen done would have been to add a little bit more; fill some of the gaps; explain more and why behind things; some backstory with certain things. But, still very happy with the ending and conclusion!

I would also love to hear book 2 with same narrators with the audio - they did a fantastic job of capturing these characters and story.

Ariel - if you see this…know there are so many people, including myself, that believe in you & support you! If you write it, I plan to read it. Don’t give up & give your self more credit! You’re so talented ❤️

TYSM to the author, Ariel N. Anderson & her team for the ARC!

Queen of the Wicked is a powerful and emotional conclusion to the Echoes of Eternity duology. The story picks up right where book one ends, with Adelasia facing the terrifying aftermath of returning from death and the darkness now growing inside her. Her struggle feels raw and urgent, and watching her fight to stay herself is one of the strongest parts of the book.

Rowan steps in with his steady, quiet strength, determined to protect her in every way he can. His presence balances the chaos beautifully. Meanwhile, Kaius is carrying the weight of what she sacrificed for him, torn between love, fear, and the mistakes of their past. The tension and connection between these three, old wounds, new bonds, and everything they’re trying to hold together gives the story so much emotional depth. And with Eternity closing in, the stakes feel higher than ever. I loved the journey, and honestly wish this book had been even longer.

The audiobook is outstanding. June deBorahae captures Adelasia’s inner turmoil, strength, and vulnerability with incredible precision. Sean Masters delivers a gripping performance as Kaius, full of anguish, love, and resolve. Willa Jaymes brings the priestesses’ sharp, icy presence to life in all the right moments. And Joe Arden gives Rowan that perfect blend of calm power and unwavering dedication. It’s a fantastic full-cast production from Blue Nose Audio, and a must-listen for anyone who loves dark fantasy romance with emotional punch.

Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book that was released today called, Queen of the Wicked. This is book 2 to, King of the Damned, and it picks up right where it left off. Adelasia and Kaius are trying to get back to their lives after everything that happened at the end of the first book, but it's not easy, everything that happened has changed each of them and changed things between them. And then Rowan comes into the picture, he's mysterious and captivating but he has an intense past with Kaius, and Kaius doesn't know if Rowan's trustworthy anymore. Adelasia is trying to control her new powers but is struggling and Kaius doesn't know how to help her, so he lets Rowan step in to help her learn to control her powers before they control her. These three go through a lot in this book, I really loved their dynamic and the growth they each went through. They each came out stronger in the end after all they had been through, and it was really beautiful. I really enjoyed this dualogy! It was entertaining, fast-paced, and so much fun to read! ❤️📚

Thank you to the author for this ARC of Queen of the Wicked, in exchange for an honest review.

ARC REVIEW

Ariel is my favorite author and I will forever love all of her stories. I am so thankful again to be chosen for the arc team. This story is very unique and an interesting set up from the first book. I really like Rowan and kaius their backstory is intriguing. I think Adelasia’s growth from the first book to this one is astounding. Her character development in this follow up is great. I’m glad she gained confidence, she never stopped trying, and most importantly didn’t give up on dance. The ending of this story was wrapped up nice.

✨ ARC Review ✨

Thank you to Ariel and her team for the chance to read this early. I’ve been waiting to continue this series, and this installment delivered. I loved watching Adelasia’s growth — the raw lows, the powerful highs, and the emotional push-and-pull between the characters. Even though it was a slow burn, it was direct and never dragged.

I also appreciate Ariel giving us closure to Book 1, especially after sharing her struggles with the series. The ending tied together beautifully through all three POVs. Would I love to hear more from Kaius and Rowan? Absolutely. But overall, I truly loved this story and the way it wrapped up. 💜

Per usual if Ariel Writes it I will be reading it! I know she said she struggled with this, but it changes nothing.

I enjoyed having all POV's and Ariels ability to keep this short read enjoyable. There was angst, and drama which is always good. I loved this story. I loved that we were given a chance to see Adelasia’s story through.

Thank you for the opportunity to ARC read this.

When I finished “King of the Damned” by Ariel N. Anderson, I knew I needed the conclusion of the duet as soon as possible. Not only did this story deliver, it provided answers and action, hope and heartache… all to be pieced back together by the epilogue.

I am not going to go into any detail about the story — just know it picks up after the cliffhanger that is KOTD’s final chapter. There is a lot that happens in this four hour story that is best served if you listen to it.

June DeBorahae reprises her role as Adelasia, and when I tell you I would follow June into any fantasy landscape, I’m not even kidding. She stoically embraces the turmoil Adelasia is faced with, while giving her emotional tenacity when she’s faced with a series of existential crises. She is fierce, brave and emotionally steadfast.

Willa Jaymes reprises her role as the Priestesses and though her time in the story isn’t as prominent as it is in KOTD, I still think her acting packs just as much of a punch. I am currently combing through her audible titles to find more fantasy or dark romance, because her voice is so versatile and resonant.

Sean Masters and Joe Arden share what I would consider to be two male main character roles as Kaius and Rowan, vampire king and incubus, respectively. Ariel’s writing and Sean and Joe’s performances are synchronized in the dance between the two immortals who have a history…and it is deliciously woven in. Sean’s accent works for Kaius and Joe really leans into Rowan’s many different forms.

I really enjoyed both books I the Eternity of Echoes duet, and this book specifically held me tight the entire time. As a non- fantasy reader, I am glad I took a chance on Ariel’s vampire romance.

I really wish authors would put a ‘previously on…” like they do for TV shows, reminding you of the most important information from the previous one, I could have used that with this second book. So, I recommend you go back and get some type of refresher. It was my mistake to think I could remember everything with so much time in between. Once I remembered everything, I couldn’t be torn away from this book. The complexity of this world, and the twists are surprising in the best way. June was fantastic as Adelasia. Sean was fabulous as Kaius, and Joe gave a performance the melded seamlessly with the others. Willa gave a beautiful performance.
Narration: Duet multi-cast narration, first-person present tense, multiple-POV some flashbacks

Tropes: Dark, vampire/human relationship, magic, a comrade snake, witches, dancer, curse, feisty FMC, he falls first, secrets, bl00dy, vi0lent, scars, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, OTTP, why choose, MMF
Overall: 4

Humor: 2
Drama: 3.5
Darkness: 2.5
Narration: 5

Adelasia has been resurrected, but as with all magic, there is a cost, and a sickness is taking over her body. In the midst of dealing with everything a mysterious being, named Rowan from Kaius’ past appears in her life.

Rowan wants to be accepted back into Kaius’ life, and heart. He’s also inexplicably drawn to his mate. He doesn’t know if he’ll be able to regain Kaius’ trust or not, but he’ll do anything to get it back.

Kaius is at a loss for how to save his mate, and when Rowan re-enters his life, he is torn between the two and doesn’t know what will happen other than there is no life for him, if she isn’t alive.

I thoroughly loved this book very much. The plot was good and the drama between the three main characters was great! I wish there was a little more information on Rowan’s back story on how him and Adelasia are connected would of been great. I wanted to learn more of Adelasia power and eternity. Why she was so hateful towards everyone and just wanting to learn more of that would of been nice to hear. More sexy scenes would of been lovely but the ones that was in there was great and very well written. I also thought the ending was beautiful and peaceful. I just want more of these peoples stories and how you ended it makes me think you are thinking to write more and I wanna scream heck yes!! Cause this was just a beautiful written piece! I love stuff that contains to supernatural beings, such as vampires and demons. Such a good time reading them. Of course Kaius is my favorite but I do wish there was more chapters of the bonds forming between the three of the main characters to make that bond even more hurtful to read when you get to you know what in the book ;). And more of the backstory of Rowen and Kaius would of been a lovely thing to read. But it was still very well written for a mf to mmf book. Absolutely adored it! Please write more!

"We don’t try to erase the scars of what we went through, but we learned how to live in spite of them."

♡If Ariel writes it I'm going to read it! Queen of The Wicked brings us right back where King Of The Damned left us hanging. This was a fast paced read that answered all the questions that lingered from book 1 paired with a few twists & turns that left me at the edge of my seat, & an ending that left me swooning. I know Ariel had stated that she struggled to write this book & she knew it wasn't her best work which I think was an amazing thing for her to do. With that being said I still think she did a great job wrapping this duet up & I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!

The full-cast duet narration for this audiobook was fantastic! June, Willa, Sean, & Joe all did a phenomenal job at bringing this vampire filled world to life! The narrator selection was top-tier & I couldn't picture anyone else voicing these characters or bringing this story to life in the way these four did!♡

This finale was everything I hoped for and more. The journey Kaius, Adelasia, and Rowan take in this book is dark, emotional, and absolutely gripping—made even richer by the outstanding narration.

June DeBorhae delivers a powerful performance as Adelasia. She captures every layer of Adelasia’s struggle—her unraveling under Eternity’s Rot, her ferocity, her fear, and that deep, aching love that keeps pulling her back.

Sean Masters, as Kaius, is steady and commanding, giving him that perfect blend of protector and mate who will walk through fire to save her.

Joe Arden brings Rowan to life with smooth, dangerous charm and that magnetic energy that makes every scene he’s in feel electric.

And Willa Jaymes, voicing Eternity, is unreal. She gives Eternity this haunting, ethereal quality that wraps around the story like a prophecy—beautiful, otherworldly, and a little terrifying in all the right ways.

The emotional bond between the three leads is the heart of the story, and the narrators make that connection feel visceral. Their combined performances elevate the tension, the magic, and the romance until you can’t help but be fully immersed.

A dark, passionate, and unforgettable conclusion to the duet—and a phenomenal audiobook experience from start to finish.

Book Title: Queen of the Wicked
Author: @ariel.n.anderson
Genre: Fantasy Romance
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I want to start this off firstly by saying I am enternally grateful that I was selected to be a part of the ARC for an author I love so dearly. It was truly an honor and felt like a dream come true.

Queen of the Wicked hooked me fast. The world is dark, magical, and full of tension, and the main character, Adelasia, is fierce, flawed, and incredibly compelling. The slow-burn romance has just the right amount of intensity without overshadowing the plot. Queen of the Wicked does not stray from fully expressing the emotions and desires of every character to the fullest extent. The way it bridges the two books together is seamless and simple. It picks up directly from the conclusion of King of the Damned and pulls you through the rest of Adelasia and Kaius’ story.

If you love morally gray characters, dangerous magic, and fantasy with real atmosphere, this one is absolutely worth the read. Truly anything attached to Ariel Anderson is sure to be more than worth your time.

Personally I love the Duology despite how Ariel has stated she is not that proud of it. I would LOVE a prequel to follow Kaius before his curse and all the events leading up to “King of the Damned”.

I love everything Ariel writes.

When she started this vampire series, I was beyond excited, if there’s any supernatural being I adore more than anything, it’s vampires!

I absolutely devoured the first book. It’s a little different from what Ariel normally writes, but I loved it all the same. So when this second book came out, it was one of my most highly anticipated reads.

It didn’t disappoint in terms of story, though I will admit, I was a little disappointed that it was so short. There was so much potential for deeper character development, but as Ariel mentioned in her own review, she struggled a bit with this one. I completely understand why, but these characters, their story, their angst, and their development could have been so amazing.

That said, I really enjoyed it. I believe these characters and their intertwining stories could easily have made for an epic novel.

⭐️ 3.5 – 4 stars
I definitely want more, and I hope that someday Ariel revisits these characters and gives them the depth and oomph they truly deserve.

Thank you to Ariel for the ARC in exchange for an honest review..

Please reconsider - I would love a deeper story about Rowan and Kaius.

3 stars for the story
4 stars for the narrators

I don’t know if I’m just not feeling the books I’ve gotten lately or not but I didn’t like this one as much as the first one. I wish we had seen more growth in the characters thru out the story and less uncertainty. I hate to say this but I don’t think I really liked the FMC that much either. There was something about her that just bugged me and I couldn’t figure out what it was. Also, there were parts of this book that felt very similar to another popular fantasy series and I couldn’t unsee that once I saw it, and I feel like that might’ve influenced how I felt about this too.

I did love the narrators. They kept the book interesting during those parts that dragged a little, and the narrator who read Kaius’ part needs to stop having such a lulling tone, I had to fight to stay awake. His voice is so melodic it’s ridiculous, in a good way. They did a good job tho and I love when there’s a multicast because then it feels like you’re listening to tv show or a conversation that’s going on. Those as well as graphic audios are my favorite style to listen to.

First of all, thank you Ariel for giving me the opportunity to ARC this!
I was so excited, because I loved King of the Damned! And I wanted book two immediately after I finished reading it, haha!

I loved this, but I'm also sad, that it wasn't longer and didn't go more in depth. It felt really fast paced. But I do know that Ariel struggled with writing this, and she openly said that Vampire romance is not her thing, so I'm just grateful that she didn't abandon it, and wrote Queen of the Wicked at all! 🖤

The story itself is good, there was progress and growth in the characters, but yeah, it just didn't go very deep into it and lots of things happened really fast. And the spicy scenes were super short, and to me they felt as if they didn't really happen.. and there were also minor mistakes..

Would I read this duet again? Yes, because book one was phenomenal, and I loved Kaius, and having Rowan in book two just added to my love to it.

I'm glad the characters were given the ending they deserved, HEA! 🖤

REVIEW - Queen Of The Wicked
By: Ariel N. Anderson
Produced by: Blue Nose Audio

You ever go into a sequel hungry for more and end up feeling just a liiittle underfed? 👀 That was me with Queen Of The Wicked. I adored King Of The Damned, so my expectations were sky-high… and while the story was good, I found myself wishing for a bit more depth, tension, and darkness to match book one.

But let me tell you what saved this listen…
🎧 The narrators/duet
This cast - Sean Masters, June deBorahea, Willa Jaymes, and Joe Arden - absolutely carried. Their chemistry, emotion, and delivery elevated the entire experience. They breathed life into a decent vampire romance and turned it into something genuinely engaging. Blue Nose Audio really knew what they were doing with this lineup.

If you’re here for seductive vampire vibes, top-tier narration, and a performance that outshines the plot, this one will still hit the spot.

This was such captivating duology. The story of Adelasia and Kaius was so interesting in book. I knew that book two was going to surprise me, but I honestly did not expect the direction that this story took. I was enthralled the whole time!

The audio for this series is so good!! June deBeborahae is ethereal as Adelasia. I can’t even describe the magical quality to her voice but it is captivating and she is the standout in this audio. Sean Masters as Kaius and Joe Arden as Rowan are incredible as always. Their voices always mesh so well, while also being distinctive enough to keep you in the story at all times.

The only thing I want is for this book to be is longer. I need more of Adelasia, Kaius and Rowan. Ariel N. Anderson’s book is beautifully brought to life in this production. If a book leaves you happy but also craving more from the characters, Isn’t that the mark of an excellent story and author. I believe so and think you will too.

3.5 stars 🌟

I did find this an enjoyable read. I just wish there was more to it!

I’d love more info on the priestesses and Eternity, plus the development of her relationship with Rowan

It must be hard to live up to reader’s expectations after UYS, but this was honestly a great starting point for a vampire book!

The chapters being short and switching POVs was great AND meant I read this is a couple hours as it is so easy to get stuck into

Overall, I love Ariel and her writing style and love that she is branching out into new genres. It was a little rushed but maybe it’s due to Ariel not finding her feet with this story which is absolutely okay! (Which she admitted herself and I respect the hell out of her for it)Again, still an enjoyable read and I felt that the story was wrapped up nicely

Thank you for the ARC 🫶🏻

Queen of the Wicked is Echoes of Eternity Book 2 by Ariel N. Anderson. After the cliffhanger King of the Damned left me on I was eager to get my hands on this one.

I enjoyed Queen of the Wicked even more than King of the Damned. This book was fast paced, with lots of twists and turns along the way. I was captivated from the start and Ms. Anderson kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I wasn’t expecting there to be a why choose element, but I loved it and felt that the ending was perfect.

Queen of the Wicked is narrated in duet by June Deborahae, Sean Masters, Willa Jaymes and Joe Arden. These narrators are all wonderful on their own, but put them together and you have an epic audiobook. Each narrator was phenomenal and their performances perfectly reflected the characters they voiced.

Queen of the Wicked by Ariel N. Anderson is a dark paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by June deBorahae, Willa Jaymes, Sean Master and Joe Arden. This is the second book in the Echoes of Eternity duet.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between Kaius, Rowan, and Adelasia. I loved getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I am so happy that this book was done with a full cast. June, Willa, Sean, and Joe did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you're looking for a dark paranormal romance with star crossed lovers.

After I read King of the Damned, I was really excited to get to the second book and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the continuation of the story where we get answers of events that happened in book 1. The relationship between Kaius, Rowan and Adelasia is absolute fire. I loved the chemistry and the banter. I mean they are brought together by fate. Also, with Kaius and Rowan helping her through her transition... swoon. They’ll do absolutely anything for her. This book was definitely a great way to end the duet. I highly recommend reading King of the Damned first as these are not standalones. Read if you love vampires, magic and paranormal romances. Plus a couple of possessive MMCs :)

I'll definitely be reading these again, probably with the audio!

I really enjoyed this book and going back to this dark world. This one was fast paced, very fast paced, and whilst I did enjoy it, I wanted a bit more.
I was very excited at the way the relationships have developed and the direction it went in and ended. I don't want to say much more than that as I really don't want to accidently add spoilers.
The ending I was very satisfied with and happy.
This world, filled with vampires, demons and supernatural creatures was captivating, interesting and thankfully there was not a lot of world building, I can't do world building.

All in all, I enjoyed it and loved the conclusion to this Duet.
