This book literally had me LOL!!! Definitely one of my top reads of 2025!!
Wild was my absolute FAVORITE of all the brothers!! This man was a fool 😭 a real ladies man who wasn’t looking for love! He was so rude & outta pocket he literally lived up to his name!! 😭
I loved Dakota she was sweet but didn’t take no mess from anybody even Wild’s crazy self!! She checked him from day one & let him know she wasn’t like any of the girls he’d been messing with!! He had to change his ways & come correct if he wanted her to give him a chance & he did just that!! Even though she had to put the paws on him a couple times he got it right eventually!!
I loveddddd seeing his character evolve, find love and treat Dakota the way she deserved to be treated!! The growth from begging to end was everything!!! I loved this book downnn!! Definitely a must read! & be prepared to laugh from begging to end cuz Wild is a HOT MESS! 😂🥰

Kodi and Wild!
This was the funniest book in the series for me and my favorite. Wild was hilarious, and I'm so glad Kodi gave him a run for his money because, sir, you just can't treat people any kind of way because you feel like it. Now I will say that I thought the situation with Harley and her friend was ridiculous, and everyone's reaction, including Harley's, was stupid to me. Like Harley getting mad at Wild because of what he was doing to her friend was asinine, especially since her friend inserted herself in a situation that she shouldn't have and made Wild lose someone. And everyone gaslighting Wild to try and get him to think the situation wasn't as serious was pissing me off real bad.

WILD is a wild time!!!!!!!!!!!
Nek girl is you cool? Because baby this man was unhinged, a lunatic, had more than a few screws loose. But it was so good. Wild definitely met his match in Kodi, call them Joker and Harley bc one didn’t play about the other. What started out as friends quickly turned into Wild finding out he will indeed crash out over a woman and not just any woman his woman. I loved every bit of it the banter was hysterical but I didn’t expect anything less of Adrian. LOL

Mills series is easily one of my favorites this year.
Dakota gave Wild a run for his money and made him put in that work to earn her love. I enjoyed the musical inspirations and the fact that the male was the romantic for a change.
❤️ it was singing off-key at the club for me.
💙it was letting the wild coin decide Dakota's fate for the day for me lol!
💙it was "If Kodi thought she was going to give me some 🐈⬛️ and hoe me immediately after, she had another thing coming. We go together now, and I was going to show her just how wild I can be if she said otherwise."

Adrian Wild Mills is by far my favorite crash out!! 🔥 From the second he laid eyes on Kodi it was a WRAP—not just for all those “hussies” he was entertaining, but for every ounce of common sense he had left. 😂 He lived up to his nickname, but he truly met his match with Kodi.
I love when the player of all players falls first—and falls hard—for a woman that’s paying him complete dust. And that’s exactly what made this story hit for me. 🖤

Listen… Adrian “Wild” Mills was already chaos wrapped in fine, but this book? It proved he’s pure, premium grade entertainment. Wild came in swinging...petty, unhinged, and honest to a fault and for once, he finally met his match. Enter Dakota “Kodi” Johnson, the best FMC in the whole Mills saga (yeah, I said it. Go argue with your mama!). She wasn’t here for crumbs, disrespect, or Wild’s usual theatrics. She matched his energy, demanded his respect, and gave him the choice: act right or get left. Spoiler alert, baby my man folded beautifully.
This was enemies to friends to lovers done with just the right balance of heat, humor, and heart. Kodi was grace or hands, your choice and she gave Wild the space to be himself without burning the whole block down. Wild, for his part, was new to love but once he locked eyes (and lips) on Kodi, it was game over. He loved hard, fought harder, and sometimes drove himself straight to the ER in the name of his antics. And Kodi? She ate it up, because she knew crazy when she saw it…and liked it.
Were there side characters who overstayed their welcome? Absolutely. “Dumb and Dumber” could’ve been cut loose chapters ago, and Ava? Girl, be for real. Still, the mess added to the ride, and it was worth every page turn. Bonus points for the little Jax “Flash” McKnight cameo...because yes, I’m absolutely clocking the setup for the next generation.
By the end, Kodi had her man, her peace, her family, and her soft girl era. Wild had his sanity slightly tamed, and I had a new favorite Mills brother. This was raw, hilarious, and unexpectedly sweet. Nek Mills delivered another banger and I’ll be over here, not so patiently waiting for whatever comes next in this wild, messy, lovable universe. This is hilariously adorable!
I am on strike and actively refusing to force myself to read all the books in interconnected series ( let's see how long I can hold out). I went into this book knowing it was a book and knowing I had read nothing else and guess what? I did not feel like I missed out!
Don't get me wrong, the Mills family is adorable and hilarious. I could feel the love and the bond they had because it radiated off the pages. I will eventually love to go back and see about the other siblings, but right now I don't feel like Adrian and Dakota's story was lacking anything that made me NEED to go back.
I found Adrian and Dakota to be two perfect pieces in a puzzle. Adrian's uncanny ability to be a reckless problem solver and Dakota's no-nonsense sweet demeanor make them the perfect couple. There are many instances throughout the story that I found myself laughing aloud. This is a balanced mix of plot and character-driven story. There is an equal investment in who the characters are and the plot, with a few very unexpected plot twists (unexpected to me, but others may have figured it out). This book reads great as a standalone and fills my need for an unhinged MMC who falls first.

I can honestly say he lives up to the name Wild. When you’ve got a man with a few screws loose, you already know him falling in love is gonna be one for the books. Now… I am not a fan of the “hates everyone but loves you” trope, so I’ll admit—his behavior in the beginning was off-putting. Like… who’s letting a man treat women like that and still coming back? Couldn’t be me.
That said, this man was a whole nut job (in the funniest way) and he was not playing about Dakota—aka Kodi. Sis just wanted to live her best life and focus on her career, but here comes one of the city’s rudest players, mad because she was out here stunting him. And instead of falling back, he doubled down and got even more unhinged. You can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results, but Wild clearly didn’t get that memo.

Wild really is a dag on fool 😭😭😭😭.. he always made it clear to the skeezers that it would NEVER be them.. and yet they still tried lol.Women were really disposable to him until he me his match in Kodi. Kodi said either get right or get MF LEFT! Kodi always stood on business when it came to Wild. They always say the right one gon have you doing things you’ve never done and that’s what Kodi did for Wild. Of course we experienced Wild but we got more of Adrian and I love that for us.
I love a man who gon make sht shake and is bout that action>>>>… everybody who played in Kodi face got exactly what they deserved 🤷🏾♀️. Ava pissed me off and I’m glad she got her behind beat cause what you thought this was. Harley deserve to be cursed out because you involving yourself with a situation that has NOTHING to do with you … Ava was wrong period.

love when an MMC is humbled

I loved this book, Adrian ( Wild ) is my mane man, he wasn’t ready for love, he just wanted to be a player until he ran across Dakota (Kodi) a Nurse at the local hospital. From there the sparks flew. Wild definitely lived up to his name.

Everyone Deserves Love!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- everyone deserves to love and be loved🫶🏽. Finding that one you can’t live without is hard but possible. Everyone needs to be humbled one or twice in life😔. What’s meant to be will be. Communication is always needed in any type of relationship. Let’s chat!
Dakota aka Kodi was that girl me. She didn’t play any games. As any woman, there’s only so much you will take and accept. Learning her upbringing pulled at my emotion but to know she still received the love she deserved🫶🏽. Moving on, we all have experienced that person you thought was your friend but ended up they weren’t. That’s exactly what happened with her and Zaria😒. From jump I wasn’t feeling her. Her energy was off, she was rude and the little statements she was saying just didn’t sit right with me. OK let not forget the secret she learned and the plan against her😡! The girl was just trifling a the ex Bear was no different. Then to be disrespected by a stranger is never good 😒 and in public at that, then it’s the owner of the store - Wild (Adrian)! The way she went in on him 🤏🏾🤣! My girl kick his butt and I was hollering🤭🤣! The way every encounter between them two had me in tears laughing🤣. Oh but when them feelings start to get involved, my was about that life and them other woman found out the hard way🤭. One thing Kodi did was take a chance with herself in a male form. Though she didn’t like confrontation, she finished everyone with ease 🫣🤭. When all said and done, the way she loved on Wild was beautiful. He may have been wild he was everything ya girl needed 🥰.
Wild (Adrian) was a HOT mess and full of shenanigans🤣. This man has no issue calling woman their name - SpongeBob or Rasputia 🤣!Honestly I never thought he would ever mellow out and catch feelings for anyone. Ya boy played too much🤭. Oh but did he meet his match and was not ready for it or should I say her-Dakota 🥰. Listen the way he was speechless after being checking had me in tears🤣! He wasn’t just speechless, ya boy was smitten. One thing he didn’t understand what was going on with cause ole girl had him feel a way he never felt before. When he started crashing out I couldn’t do anything but laugh. He was down bad 🤣! One thing for sure I wasn’t ready for it but at the same time I was happy for him. One thing for sure I was speechless on how he was willing to change for her🤭🥰! We all know there’s always one chickenhead that can’t listen -Ava! See I honestly was rooting for her in the beginning of the series, but oh was I wrong🫣! Your girl just didn’t listen. She had to learn the hard way. One thing for sure people past can hinder your future, but Wild wasn’t going for it at all! The length he went to get what he now claimed his was admirable and I was her for it all 🥰!
Harley had me hot. Like girl you wouldn’t want to go through that and would react the same way if it was Uno. Girl Wild made it loud and clear he had gods woman, so to me she slightly set her girl Ava to failure. Then there Amelia! I loved her and her friendship with Kodi. The was she rolled with Kari to handle Erica and Talena 🤣! It was the entire seen for the way the rolled to the way the handled business🤣!
I enjoyed being able to see Adrian find his person. I thought he was a lost cause and would never find her! The way I enjoy this entire series with “War About You” being my favorite🥰. The relationship between the brothers was like no other and I loved it. I want to say so much more but it would tell too much🤭. Nek did her big one with the Mills Brother series.

THIS WAS EVERYTHING!!!!
Such a great story of two people who started out as enemies, and became friends than lovers. Wild a.k.a. Adrian Mills, the youngest of the Mills family is the craziest, funniest, and wildest of them all. A womanizer it to the heart, he loves them and leaves them. Until he met his match in Dakota Jenkins a.k.a Kodi. From the very beginning, Cody rocked Adrian’s world, literally and figuratively. Once while, got a taste of Miss Cody, he could not get enough and he did everything possible to keep her as his Lady love. This was one of the funniest stories ever, with Wild stuffing bananas in tailpipes and pudding bologna on cars, the crackheads stealing from the hotel was hilarious. And he did not play about Kodi. From burning hands on grills. To robbing men who wanted to date her while she was on the date with him, that giy was crazy 😝!!! And I loved it!! Wild went to the extremes to prove and profess his love for Dakota. From singing the August Alsina song to flipping his coins, and setting her up for the soft life that she deserved. This book was everything!! Dakota, who has lost all of her family, her friends, and made the bold move to put herself first in the best way took a chance on love with a guy who was wild in name and actions, and it turned out to be the best decision she ever made. This is my third book from Nek Mills and I absolutely loved it. I am now on the next series featuring Noemi‘s brothers. And I can’t wait. I’m super excited. This author is hilarious to me and her stories are real in terms of action and love. Great job Nek Mills!!!

Until he met his match in Dakota Jenkins a.k.a Kodi. From the very beginning, Cody rocked Adrian’s world, literally and figuratively. Once while, got a taste of Miss Cody, he could not get enough and he did everything possible to keep her as his Lady love. This was one of the funniest stories ever, with Wild stuffing bananas in tailpipes and pudding bologna on cars, the crackheads stealing from the hotel was hilarious. And he did not play about Kodi. From burning hands on grills. To robbing men who wanted to date her while she was on the date with him, that giy was crazy 😝!!! And I loved it!! Wild went to the extremes to prove and profess his love for Dakota. From singing the August Alsina song to flipping his coins, and setting her up for the soft life that she deserved. This book was everything!! Dakota, who has lost all of her family, her friends, and made the bold move to put herself first in the best way took a chance on love with a guy who was wild in name and actions, and it turned out to be the best decision she ever made. This is my third book from Nek Mills and I absolutely loved it. I am now on the next series featuring Noemi‘s brothers. And I can’t wait. I’m super excited. This author is hilarious to me and her stories are real in terms of action and love. Great job Nek Mills!!!

A Wild Ride
Wild won. That’s it. Of the three Mills brothers he’s the one that made me blush a little harder and smile a little more. Even when he was confused about his intentions, he still made an effort to figure out how to navigate this feelings for Kodi. Now I do think the situation with Dumb and Dumber should’ve been cut off sooner than it was, yes, but at some point I couldn’t even blame Wild. Those girls were idiots. Now the Ava thing wasn’t on him at all. She was acting on her own because girl—be for real 😒. She and Harley got on my last nerve.
Now on to my girl Kodi! She was the BEST FMC in this series. She gave it to Wild just as hard as he gave it to her. My girl demanded the respect she deserved and wouldn’t accept crumbs like the others. I loved that for her. She handled everyone with grace or hands and it was up them which one they received. Kodi gave Wild an outlet to just be himself without some of the reckless theatrics. I loved that for him. In the end, my girl got her dad back and her own little family.
Oh and I noticed that cameo from Jax “Flash” McKnight…you mean to tell me the twins are all grown up now. BeBe and Jay’s kids are grown whew —yep I’m going to sit patiently to see what we get with that.

WILD!!! Baby he lived up to his name and I couldn’t wait to get to his book. Adrian never cares what come out his mouth or how people view or receive him if you don’t cross him or his brothers. Ya boy was a proud whore and felt no way about it and allowed the girls he entertained to make the decision to play or get left behind. Everything is all fun and games until he meets his match, and she comes in swinging. You definitely will be laughing reading this book. I loved to see it all unfold. I mean when Adrian said he is not tricking on girls just to blow a bag and want to be in Kodi’s skin!!! But really when he was not backing down to his family and favorite sis about his boo. I knew he was about to crash out. The amount of petty in this book was unmatched and out of pocket. Even the way he apologizes is petty. It be the ones trying to just make it and stay out the way I’m always going to root for and love to see them come out on top and better than ever. Kodi is just that a deserves it all and so much more. She really is a good girl and just wants to be treated the way she treats other. But don’t let little momma fool you she is with the shits😜.

Adrian and Kodi
I really enjoyed Wild's story. I disnt care for his loudness, but loved the story. Because he saw hos parents love and was never heart broken over a woman. He dealt with "relationships" the way he did because he wanted to.
Wild was not ashamed one IOTA about he was seeb when it came to his interaction with women. It was what he wanted and didnt appologize for it. He disnt get hung on on any of the women he dealt with and he talked to them ceazy. That is until his brash behavior got him cussed smooth out.
Dakota relocated to Mills Grove for a new start. She comes across Wild in his shoe store and the interaction wasnt a positive one. At the end of it all, money was thrown and Wild was in shock. Now he needed to know who is this woman that sares to treat him in such a manner.....lol
Wild is working over time to be Adrian because Dakota is not insterested in "Wild". This is a journey where he faces his feelings, thought and actions that he has determined is worth it.
As with all of the Mills brothers, some envious character always think their plot for bigger will land them a big pay day only for them to learn.....NOPE!!!!

I was with all the shenanigans and Wild found the right one too! Dakota did not play with Wild, from the moment they met. Baby she was giving the same energy he was. Their enemies to friends to lovers was a journey I'd gladly go on again. Wild was unapologetically who he was. A single man doing single man things and making absolutely no promises to the women he dealt with. It was on them to allow it to keep happening over and over. If someone is repeatedly telling you what it is, why would you not believe it. Kodi changed everything for Wild. He started evaluating his thinking, he inquired about how to approach Kodi...he was all in. Now Ava, I really wasn't expecting her to act a fool. Those two birds...yes! She campaigned for everything she got. Wild really did give Kodi her soft girl era, and the only thing this book was missing was a little dose of Jerome! That's my guy. I'm going to need a Mills/Boudreaux holiday special or something. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

NEK Mills definitely was sipping on something when she wrote this one—Wild & Kodi had me cracking up the whole time. Out of all three brothers, Wild has always been my favorite, and this book just proved why. Even when he was lost in his own feelings, he still put in the work to figure out what he wanted with Kodi.
Let’s talk about my girl Kodi. She wasn’t here to play. She stood on business, demanded Wild’s respect, and refused to settle for less. She matched his energy blow for blow and gave him the balance he needed. She handled everybody—either with grace or with hands, depending on how they came at her. That’s QUEEN energy!!!!
Kodi gave Wild space to be himself without all the extra reckless antics, and it made their bond real solid. This book was sooooo hilarious! Hands down, my favorite book of the series!

Wild Boy for Sure
Wild was literally living up to his name! However, his growth is this book was perfect. Seeing how he was vulnerable about really wanted people to take his love for Kodi seriously and wanted to learn how to do right by Kodi, made me cheese. He did not care about crashing out behind Kodi.
Kodi was living in survival and it showed. She was literally Wild’s match. She didn’t let him or anyone play with her. I loved watching her soften for Wild.
Harley and Ava pissed me off but really Harley because she knew if the shoe was on the other foot, she would’ve felt a way. Uno should have checked her because she was out of pocket. I guess it was no need because Wild stood on business enough.
Overall, I really liked the book. It had enough drama, plot and spice to make the book balanced. Nek really did well with her writing on Wild’ book.

Best Book of the Series
A Player’s Pray was the best book out of the Mills brothers for me, and I was laughing from start to finish. Adrian “Wild” really lived up to his name with his coin-flipping on whether to act a fool or play it cool—up to destiny, as he says. Dakota stood her ground from the moment they met, demanding respect and never taking any of Adrian’s crap, which made their banter hilarious and their chemistry electric. I loved the friends-to-lovers trope and how Adrian was willing to crash out and do anything to keep Dakota as his woman. The perfect mix of heat, humor, and emotions made this the standout of the series, and I can’t wait for the author’s next one.

OMG Wild is one crazy MF and he had me rolling with real tears with his craziness!! I was curious to know what woman will tame the beast! Now you all can call Wild all kind of names, but he’s upfront with these women and out there wilding since he was not in a committed relationship! No wonder Wild don’t respect these women because they sure don’t respect themselves.

This was my fav out of the series. I don’t really remember much from the first one, but I just finished the second one last night. Now I’m done with this one. This was more of a fun read to me. There wasn’t a whole bunch of drama taking away from the budding relationship. It was cheesy, a little unbelievable, but it didn’t take away from the story. There wasn’t some drama but I guess that was just to spice up the read a little. Overall I loved Wild’s character, and i absolutely loved that the FMC wasn’t weak. She stayed consistent the whole story and we got to see the MC be all over himself over the female character. She didn’t allow herself to become D matized. I loved it. It wasn’t really a long read so I finished in one day.

This was a Wild Ride!!!
From the time Wild first encountered Dakota in his store and insulted her, he was smittened. Once they finally connected there was no turning back. The player finally got bit by the love bug. Dakota found out Zaria was no friend of hers something Wild picked up on when he first met her. Bear was a snake and that crew all got their karma swiftly. Ava was a trip and she got done dirty as a result as well as Erica and Talena. The crooked hospital crew, Dr Morrison and Tanessa were also handled. Adrian did a lot to prove to Kodi he lived her, his antics were hilarious! I was so happy Maine came home, they got their HEA and the player, Adrian Mills was reformed. Loved this story! Hopefully we'll get updates on this clan in the future!
