I am a HUGE Acceptance Series Fan...and have mercy have we been on a ride of a lifetime. I have laughed, cried, and almost threw by kindle out the window a couple times the entire series. Loving Kate, makes me sad because it's the last book in the series, but it is written so beautifully, that it will have you re-reading the series just to fall in love with the characters again.

After the blowout at Jake and Aprils engagement party, Kate finds her heart torn between two men that she absolutely loves, Daniel, whom shes known for about a month, and Mike whom she has a long history with. Kate is determined to enjoy life, and to find herself. When an unexpected visitor makes her appearance, with an even bigger surprise, Kate spirals out of control, and makes a choice that may cost her the loves of her life.
"He's right next to me but I feel a million miles away from his love."

With the arrival of baby Lucas, life gets even more complicated and in the blink of an eye everything changes. In the midst of college graduation, Kate is realizing that her actions have consequences, she must fix what she has destroyed and with the help of her friends, she takes her first step to mending what is now broken. She finally confesses her love to the man she can't not live without, is it too late? Will the man of her dreams be able to forgive her or will she finally have to accept that she’s truly lost the love of her life?

New relationships are formed, some are tested, and some are coming to an end. As a few secrets are revealed, how will everyone involved be effected? And are some more willingly able to forgive the other?
"I don't even know what kind of twilight zone I just walked into, but I don't even want to leave this cornfield."

I was 100% #TeamDaniel coming into Loving Kate, but now I am torn between #TeamDaniel and #TeamMichael. The two of them have really matured, and to be able to put their feelings aside and be there for Kate. Mike did steal a piece of my heart, because of how he handled every situation he was faced with.

I absolutely love the banter between all of the friends. I really wish I could be in their group of friends, because no matter what, they don't judge and they are always there for one another.I don't have just one favorite character, because each one of them played such a significant role. Though Kate is the absolute best heroine, she is as beautiful as she is kind.

The epilogue gives us a BIG ole bow...and a very HEA.

I was a semi basket-case while reading Loving Kate. At stop lights I would quickly read a sentence, or neglected all motherly obligations (thankfully my husband was around) just to get to the next line. I cried like a baby, I literally laughed out loud, and was giddy with happiness. This is a five star very emotional read.

Dee Kelly has written this wonderful series, and I have enjoyed reading every single page of it. She has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are there witnessing it all first hand. Do yourself a favor and read these books! Whose team will you be on Daniel's or Mike's?

ONE, there are SPOILERS!! I REPEAT SPOILERS BELOW!!

TWO, I will be a babbling mess of joy! Try to follow along!

NOW THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, LET’S DO THIS!!!

Wow! Talk about one emotional roller coaster. I laughed, cried, growled, and sang hallelujah while I read. I swear Ms. Dee loves to have me a ball of nerves while I read. Seriously, Dee, I could not stop reading once I started.

So much happened in this book, some of it I predicted would happen, some of it shocked me, and some of it just had me grinning like a fool. This is one the only books that had me crying sad tears with a broken heart one chapter and then crying happy tears when things finally started playing out the way I wanted them the next chapter.

We had love.

We had loss.

We had lots of freaking babies!! ← Seriously! HELLLOOO babies! I loved it!

Thank you, Dee for wrapping up this series up with a nice little bow, it felt like everyone was happy and wound up with HEA. I needed that. I have grown attached to Kate, Daniel, Mike, Jess, Conner, Jake, and April.

Okay, I guess I should back this review up and start at the beginning of the book. Cause we had some major things happen before my song and dance occurred at three a.m.

This book started right where Releasing Kate ended. Daniel was still heart broken from what witnessed. And refused to give into his love for Kate. He was such a stubborn man! Daniel was so stubborn in the beginning and so stinking hot taking care of baby Lucas. He made everyone swoon.

My boy Daniel may have taken longer than I would have liked to realize he could forgive Kate and would. He was hurt that from what she did and was honest when he told her he needed baby steps. He did not know if he could forgive her. Daniel broke my heart more than once when he was realizing he missed his girl. I could not wait to have my dominant alpha male back. I did a little happy dance when Daniel returned and claimed his girl.

Kate knew she made a mistake and worked her tush off trying to prove that she would never do it again. I loved when Kate told Daniel that she might have slept with someone while they were apart but he had a child with another woman so get over it. Daniel needed to hear that from her. She loved Lucas like her own from the moment she met the little guy.

Kate is the glue that holds the group together, the quiet encourager, and the one person they all go to with issues. I will miss Kate and her mommabear ways!

Mike had me swooning from the moment he was first introduce in this book. That man has really grown up. Which is huge since his entire world changed in this book.

“Not even me, Kate. Daniel is the only man who should ever be in your bed. I’ll always be here for you, until the last breath I take. You’re my soul mate, remember? We’re just soul mates of the friend kind this time around. Next time, though, it’ll be me and you again, I know it.”

Mike proved over and over that he had not only Kate’s back but Daniel’s as well. He loved them both. I loved that he received his HEA. He was a fantastic dad and found the love he had be searching for as well.

I have waited months to see this HEA! I mean months. I need this so stinking bad. I am still a smiling mess three days later.

*** I give this book 5 out of 5 stars***

***Gifted by the author in exchange for an honest review, and as part of the Release Promotional tour, see more on my website www.katsbookpromotions.com***

This series needs to be read in order, and the main character is Katherine Moore AKA Kate or Katie Grace, but in saying that the supporting characters are also great - and the story wouldn't be the same without their constant input into the storyline. We get to see their relationships grow throughout the books too.

Kate's first love was Michael Matthews, and they met when they were 7 years old, when she and Jessica, her best friend were introduced to him when he moved to their town, Katie and Micheal eventually become boyfriend and girlfriend, but if you have read book 1 Breaking Kate, you will know that circumstances happen that rip the pair apart. 3 years later and they meet again... but Kate's moved on and is actually in love with Michael's best friend Daniel.

Things have never been smooth for Kate, and when fate puts more hurdles in her path to true love, she makes a grave mistake and as she tries to make amends her life gets complicated... with the knowledge that a baby is on the way, but who is the father, and although Kate should be upset with Micheal and Daniel and their ex Vanessa Kate and her her ever huge heart puts the welfare of Vanessa and the baby in front of her feelings and goes above and beyond to help a lonely girl in need.

With all this and College Graduation gaining rapidly she has never been so unsure of where her future lies.

Loving Kate is the third and final full-length novel in The Acceptance Series, and it is JAMMED PACKED with drama and tears of laughter and sadness (YES this is a Kleenex Rating of 3+ so be warned you will need something to wipe your tears).

I am not going to write any more because this series really is one that needs to be read without too much information to gain the most from the story the author is telling.

D. Kelly is probably 2nd in line to my Ugly Cry Authors - there has always been an unexpected twist at the end of each installment, but the good news is that with Book 3 out now all you lucky readers can read them all in one hit if you haven't already read the first and second books.

If you want a story about a great group of friends who are more like family, then this series is for you.

With life there are ups and downs, tragedy and triumph and above all a HEA... Ms Kelly makes you work for it but she does give you a wonderful HEA in this book.

I bawled my eyes out as I read the last 10%... HAPPY TEARS but still they were flowing freely (Hubby thinks I am cray cray for reading books that make me sob my guts up!)

Ms Kelly has a writing style that is easy to follow, the POV switches at chapters and it is good as you get to see whats happening from each of the main characters POV.

Some parts are pure genius , Ms Kelly lulling you to relax and enjoy whats happening and then BAM hitting you where it hurts, but I guess that is a good indication of a good story/Author because it would be so boring to read a predictable story line, and I can say that nothing in this book was predictable - I may have got 2 twists but I read for a living so to speak and I have got good at guessing what happens next, but for saying that, it was only an inkling and I was like - I KNEW IT! when it was finally revealed, and in a good way not bad.

So in conclusion, if you want a book that will keep you on your toes, make you work for that HEA because Life isn't a Fairytale... then I will say read this series I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I have.

As this is the last installment in the Acceptance series, you’ll want to begin with Breaking Kate and Releasing Kate. There is also the novella from Mike’s POV, Catching Kate.

We left off with Daniel hurt and wanting to be left alone after Kate had slept with Marc. Although they weren’t technically together at the time, it guts him. Kate seems to justify her actions because of the things she thought she saw and further rationalizes that her and Marc were meant to have a fling at some point. I find this logic to be a bit stretching and yet realistic to how many would behave. Now with the scene set will there ever be a chance for Daniel and Kate to get back together.

From the onset of this last book, Mike begins to reestablish the best friend connection with Kate. They find some of the chemistry from their childhood as well as a new paradigm for their adult selves. With this friendship solidifying, they both work to reconnect Kate and Daniel.

As predicted in my review from Releasing Kate, this story is filled with angst and surprising tragedy. Be prepared for tears and even an ugly cry. You won’t see it coming until it’s already there. Wow, just wow. It definitely alters the final outcome from how I had thought things would be. I think that’s been my problem throughout this series…I have read so many books and figured out how many authors have certain rules, D Kelly does not play by those rules. I quite enjoy that aspect of not knowing. It keeps me out of my comfort zone and engrossed in the plot.

While this series has been filled with angst and heartbreak, we finally get the happily ever after, maybe even leaning towards an overly blissful ending but considering all the strife to get there I’ll take it. I can’t wait to see Kelly’s future projects as they, no doubt, will be unpredictable and rule breaking but filled with passion.

Rating: 4.5 Stars

Let me just start this review with telling you I am strictly Team Daniel and always have been, always will be. The way D. pulls you into the lives of Kate, Daniel, Michael and the rest of the gang is simply amazing. I was completely invested in this book, these friends were my friends and I went through all the ups and downs with them. This series has been an emotion ride from the start and D. does not disappoint with Loving Kate.

Kate has made her choice between Michael and Daniel, but things are not as simple as they seem. With everyone transitioning into their new roles after the arrival of baby Lucas, you would think things would be settling down, but in true D. Kelly style, just when you think things are going one way, she hits with some major curve balls. One of my favorite things is in this story is the children, to see how a new life can bring everyone together, even when things are tough, this makes all the bad things seem insignificant.

“My entire world is upside down and inside out, but I’m holding absolute perfection in my arms. How does that even make sense? How can something be so utterly perfect in a world full of chaos and sadness?”

This book has a ton of ups, downs, twists and turns that I didn’t even see coming. And you will feel right along with everyone. The way D. writes, it isn’t just about the main characters in this story; the supporting characters are just as important to the dynamic of the story. Their banter, support and acceptance are what make them all family. When you fall in love with the supporting characters as much as you do the main character, to me that is a sign of great writing.

There isn’t much more I can say without spoilers and I do not want to ruin this story or series for anyone that has not read it. It is a must a read; it is emotional gripping all the way to the last word. 5 Fan-Frickin-Tastic Star from me! I can’t wait to see what D. has in store for her readers next!

description

Nothing can describe this book and the emotions it will bring out in you. This is a story about three people and the love they inspire within each other. Love ,loss , pain and rebuilding a relationship that was destroyed by miss understandings and misguided intentions. In this third and final book in the acceptance series Kate finally reveals who she chooses and we find out why she made the choices she made. The characters in this story takes the reader on an emotional journey that will make your heart pound with each page.

The growth of these characters throughout the story has been a pleasure to read. This story will make you embrace the softer side of love and loss. Daniel, Michael, Kate and their friends go through a lot to get where they are and even though secrets are never the answer to anything somehow they find a way to embrace not only each other and become not only best friends but also family.

Secrets, lies, heartache and pain all tied up in a story that wasn't rushed but flowed so perfectly. The whole time you're reading you will either be Team Michael or Team Danial both characters will capture your attention and heart. This was a great end to a wonderful series. I can't wait to see what's next from D.Kelly. I was so happy with HEA in this story .

I honestly don’t know how to put into words how much I love this book. I am afraid no matter what I say I won’t do it justice. I love this series. It has made me FEEL every emotion possible. I have cried so much, laughed so hard and wanted to reach through my kindle and slap several people. You have to read all the books in order or you will be lost and you will lose some of the emotion tied to the entire story line. If you loved the previous books this one will top them all. I will read this series again and I will cherish the story line and memories I have from reading it. This is truly an epic love story, one I won’t soon forget.

Been counting down for book 3 in this series about Kate. As the first two books left the reader wondering how this love triangle would turn out finally the ending I needed. Kate grew up with Mike and loved him until he dumped her so suddenly. She was broken for years until she met Daniel, she learned to open her heart and find love. Mike shows up and he and Daniel are best friends. Throw in a baby that could be Mike or Daniel's. I have always been on Team Daniel but you have to love Mike. Excellent series Loved it

We have the final piece to this story; the last book in this series that I must say was an emotionally epic ride. The author wrote this in such a way, the readers felt like they have lived every page, felt every emotion and grew up with the characters as we watched life make them mature. We have felt every bad choice and experienced every consequence. We celebrated every victory no matter how small and claimed mental exhaustion after every chapter.

So much has been said about the book already in reviews and the synopsis does a great job in telling you what you will read with this book, so I want to tell you the messages I gained from this series. The Acceptance Series is the perfect name for this collection. Kate, Daniel and Mike, along with the rest of the crew, showed us how life can expand and blessings can be gained by accepting the situation and the people who come into your life. With each member of this gang, when they brought someone into the mix, acceptance was freely given. The “family” continued to expand and love was growing each day.

I had a difficult time accepting Kate and her ability to not react strongly to situations that would have sent me into a panic. She was the epitome of compassion, forgiveness and understanding. She lost the most in this series, was treated the worst by those who claimed to love her, yet she was the first to reach out to others in need, to give forgiveness without needing an explanation. She filled the void in her heart with other gifts and she took roles in people’s lives that I would have had a hard time accepting had I been her.

Daniel and Mike taught us about anger, forgiveness, double standards and karma. Both started out as self-centered young men but as the series progressed we watched them come to realize that what they have done to others doesn’t feel good when the shoe is on the other foot. They both had to grow up fast and put others first but what I loved most was watching them grow into the new roles in life that came about because of their selfish decisions in the past. Each figured out what loss was and what not stepping up right away makes you lose in the end.

I was amazed at how this ended. I expected a happy ending which I did get, but the path she took to get us there was amazing. Each person found their place in life through secrets, discovery, and forgiveness and yes acceptance. The whole group of friends were wonderful to get to know, although I think some things deserved more emotions than they showed, I see now why the author needed them to be just how they were. They went through heart break, fights, abandonment, and stress and no matter what, they did it together. They partied, celebrated, comforted and lived with and through each other till their dreams were achieved. As I finished the last few pages my mind went back to those days right after high school and how they had all became adults right before our eyes. It was the perfect ending to this series and I feel a loss now that it is done.

✯✯5 Beautiful Stars!!! ✯✯

OMG!!! No joke when I tell you that I finished this book a few days ago and I still can't believe it! I been trying to figure out what to write and how to write it. Without giving anything away. This is one of my favorite series. This series wasn't just about Kate and her 2 loves Mike and Daniel. This was about them and their friends. But, their friends were their family. Their gang of friends were just as important to the story as Kate, Daniel & Mike were.

We start off exactly where we left off. Vanessa has had baby Lucas and we know who his daddy is. Kate is dealing with her actions from the night before. Some people are having more of an issue with it then others. Kate has also made her decision. Is it Mike? Is it Daniel? That I'm not telling you hahahaha.

Now, Lucas parents are trying to get into a routine for Lucas and themselves. Kate. Poor Kate. Her, Jessica & Connor are getting ready to graduate so she's studying and trying to keep up. She has fallen head over heals in love with Lucas.Kate is probably one of the nicest, caring and loving character I have read in awhile. Even though the 2 loves of her life were not too happy when Vanessa came into their lives. Kate being Kate opened up her house next door.Kate has stayed by Vanessa's side the whole time. Which made everyone else do the same. Vanessa ends up becoming friends with them too.

Now, I could go on and on and on for awhile. But, this is not a story that you'd want a spoiler to. This is the last book in the series. You must must must read the books in order!! That is not an option. I say that because you will not understand what is going on.

D.Kelly gives you such a powerful story. Every emotion I have went into this story. There was sadness, happiness, laughter, confusion and shock. But, mostly there was a whole lot of love. And, not just between Kate and Mike or Kate and Daniel. But, with everybody. Kate and Jessica. Daniel and Mike. Everybody had some type of relationship/friendship. They were all funny, strong and beautiful in there own way. Like every book in this series Connor did not disappoint me. He had me laughing all the time. I will say the most shocking person for me was Vanessa. I went from not liking her at all when she first showed up. But, the end of this book. Vanessa became one of my favorites! She also had me cry the most in this book. No joke. I'm dead serious hahahaha... Dee ended it perfectly. It did end with a HEA for everyone involved.

I am so honored when Dee asked me to read her book. I am even happier I said yes! Hahaha.. This is her first series and what a way to start. When I tell you nobody could of given you Kate, Daniel, Mike, Jessica, Connor and everyone else in the series. I mean nobody!! Dee has a fan for life in me. All she has to say is I'm writing a new book and it's going on my list.

I have been in love with this story since the time I received the first book, Breaking Kate, for a blog review. Reading about Kate and her love for Michael and Daniel, and their love for her, has made the Acceptance Series one of my favorites.

I have been on this rollercoaster with all these characters that have seeped into my pores and have been anxious to see where they take me. Having lived through the heartache that Kate endured when Michael left her, completely sucked me into their story and I have been following like someone wishing for her friend’s happiness. When Daniel came onto the scene and immersed himself into Kate’s life, their love for each other and the way they completely took over each other’s life made me see how much they belonged together.

Michael’s return only helped to prove my feelings regarding Kate and Daniel. He was someone important in her life and she needed him to complete a puzzle that was missing a piece, but that didn’t mean he was meant to be with her in a romantic sense.

As the story progressed and we learned of Vanessa’s pregnancy, more chaos and uncertainty cemented itself in the midst of this close group of friends. But Kate, always a lover and someone looking out for the happiness of others, once again did what she thought was best to keep the group together.

Kate loves both Michael and Daniel. She loves them differently and the history she has with Michael makes it difficult for her to see clearly regarding who she really wants. Both are willing to do anything for her, yet still want to keep their friendship. So much happens and complications in their relationships make it difficult to see where the story will take them.

The story is written beautifully, giving us new relationships, testing old ones to the bare bones, and bringing some to an emotional and bittersweet conclusion. The banter between this group of friends is definitely one of the highlights of this series; every character giving as good as they get. They love each other unconditionally and don’t judge, but rather, help each other with their problems.

What a way to end this series. I sure am going to miss the gang, but I am so happy with the way things turned out. I have always been ‪#‎TeamDaniel‬ and will forever remain that way, but I do admit that ‪#‎TeamMichael‬ grew on me even more than before. This is an amazing book and it had me laughing, crying, sighing, crying some more, and then laughing again. I absolutely loved it!!!!

Disclaimer: I received a free ecopy in exchange for nothing more than an honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Let me start by saying that this review will be 100% spoiler free, so I'm going to stay away from discussing the story itself!!

This is the last installment in the Acceptance Series and upon receiving my ecopy I was scared to actually open it and begin reading Loving Kate. I was scared because of how things had been left in the previous book, I was scared because I had no idea what Dee had planned. But I did open Loving Kate and I did read every last word!! I'm so glad that I did and I love Dee so much. This book is freaking awesome!!

I have loved every minute of reading Loving Kate. Dee's writing style is fantastic. Dee has put so much emotion into each and every page, and the emotions are palpable. The emotions from the characters are so powerful and consuming. I found it impossible to stay detached; I was immediately drawn into the story and sucked into the characters lives. Dee's writing makes the reader feel included in the story not like an outsider looking in. This for me makes reading so much more enjoyable.

The characters have grown and developed so much throughout this series and in Loving Kate we see even more depth to each and everyone of them. Dee has left no-one out. I love how this group of friends have such strong and realistic bonds with each other. The strength of they're bonds makes the group feel more like a family than just another group of friends.

This has been such a bittersweet book for me. Why? because I have loved every page and I'm so glad I now fully understand everything and I know what has happened for everyone involved, but I'm gutted that this is the end, it's the last time I will be apart of this group; and I'm going to miss them. It's so sad!!

The ending to this series is spot on though. Every question I had has been answered, there is nothing left open, Dee really has created a complete ending.

I have thoroughly loved every page of Loving Kate, and I strongly urge you to read this if you haven't yet. However, DON'T be tempted to read these out of sequence or things will be very confusing! You need to start at the very beginning and read each book in the correct sequence (see below for links).

I give Loving Kate a HUGE 5* rating and have just one question:

Dee, What's next??? =)

What an amazing end to one of my favorite series! I can’t believe it has come to an end….sniffles….Kelly did a fantastic job of answering all of my questions, and all the characters resolving their issues. As with all of her previous books, it’s an emotional rollercoaster. But, those books are my favorites.

Loving Kate picks up where the last book left off. Kate is still very much in pain and torn between the two wonderful men that she loves. I wasn’t too happy with her when she made some questionable decisions and did some things to help ease her pain. As she soon discovers, her actions don’t help. It only makes things worse for her and affects her relationships. Although to be fair, I can understand that she just wanted her pain to end, and she was back in my good graces not long into the book. As with all the books in the series, I felt incredibly connected with the characters, but I felt even more connected with them in this book. I think it’s because chapters are told from several characters’ points of view. I always love getting an inside peek into their minds. Kate does finally decide which man is right for her. Even if you want her to choose one or another, I think you will completely agree with how it ended. It was the best for all involved. I think this one is my favorite in the series because it’s not just about Kate, Mike, and Daniel. It’s about family, friendship, loss, love, loyalty, loving and accepting others despite their flaws. In essence, it’s about growing up and really becoming adults. My emotions were all over the place, from anger to tears to happiness! But, I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!

I only found D. Kelly last fall on a page in which she was doing a takeover. I am so thrilled to have found her. Her books are well-written yet filled with emotion, thus sucking me in from the beginning and not letting me go, even after finishing the last page. Like I said, she evokes strong feelings in her writing, but I have always believed if a writer moves you to tears or makes you want to throw your Kindle across the room, he or she has done their job. D. Kelly has definitely gone over and beyond that! If you love a sexy romance (yes…her sex scenes are HOT!) but with deep emotion and characters, pick up her series today!

The series in order: Breaking Kate, Catching Kate, Releasing Kate, and Loving Kate.

I have been waiting for what seems like forever to get my hands on this book and to see what would be come of the whole Kate, Daniel and Mike saga. It is told in multiple POV's but all are easily distinguishable and it isn't a repeat of the same event. There was so much going on in this book and I was guessing most of the way through. Loving Kate picks up right where the last book left off. You absolutely have to read the other books in the series to understand this one. That prologue had me hooked (if I hadn't been already) and I was anxious to see what Daniel had up his sleeve.

Kate was truly the star of this book. All of her best qualities were put on display. There was a great balance between her compassion and resolve and her vulnerability. She was beyond selfless and giving, especially when tragedy befalls the gang. I wasn't expecting that turn of events but it was absolutely necessary in the grand scheme of things, it gave them the push they needed. I liked seeing an edgier and angrier side to Daniel. Thus far he had been nothing but sweet and patient and in this book he was moody and angry. Seeing him with Lucas was incredible. All of his protective and nurturing instincts came out, as did his fears.

Mike was a big part of this story as well. He made the biggest transformation from start to finish in this book. He went through a wide range of emotions. Everything from hurt, disbelief, love, anger, frustration and love again. Mike was dealt quite the surprise towards the end. There was big lead up to what the secret was, and I had an inkling of what it was going to be. That one event and his reaction to it really solidified all the changes and progress he had made.

Of course, the rest of the gang was there too. Everyone from Connor to April were there to help guide the main characters in their journey (they had their own journeys too which was a nice addition to the story). There were multiple moments that produced a laugh/snot. They brought the humor to break up all the angst surrounding the future of Kate and Daniel. I will say that I wanted to see a bit more of the Daniel and Kate reconciliation and re-bonding, especially with baby Lucas. That being said, there is no question that is left unanswered. I was completely satisfied with how well-rounded the conclusion to this heart breaking and uplifting series was. I can only hope that I will get to see more of the gang somewhere down the road.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Simply amazing! Absolutely incredible! And even those words don't do it justice. The amount of emotion that D. Kelly was able to evoke with Loving Kate is astounding. I can't think of another book where the tears just kept streaming down my face.

This must be what they mean when they talk about a book hangover. I feel lost, but in a good way. My brain is spinning. My heart is beating, but I'm not sure at what rhythm. My eyes burn with unshed tears. My throat is tight. And I find myself just staring off into space in awe over what I've just read.

I don't know how she did it. She put all the right words together and created something amazing, incredible, extraordinary, spectacular. An ending so magnificent, so phenomenal, so... WOW! Just perfect!

The final book in the Acceptance Series was the absolute best, and isn't that really how it should be? Don't you want the finale to be bigger and better than anything that came before it?

When I read the prologue, I was already wowed. I knew this was going to be a great ride, but I had no idea it would be so much more. D. warned me that she was in tears when she finished writing it, and I'll admit, that scared me a little, but I couldn't stop reading. And yes, I was definitely in tears and needed an entire box of tissues (good thing I'd stocked up for the cold I've been fighting the last couple of weeks), but I didn't need to be afraid.

There were tears throughout the book, but somewhere in Chapter 10 they started and they didn't stop until well after I read The End. Even writing this now, the next morning, while sitting on the train on my way to work, I'm fighting them back...mainly because these other people around me just wouldn't understand.

The series may be over, but I can't even be sad about that because D. Kelly did such an unbelievable job wrapping up this story. If you love LOVE, and you haven't started this series, I strongly suggest you go grab it now! The first word of Loving Kate is Perfection, and in my opinion, that's exactly what this is. Thank you D. for bringing us perfection!

Kate has to choose between two men. Michael has been Kate's best friend since they were kids and they dated until it ended. Years later she falls quick for Daniel and then comes face to face with Michael now known as Mike. This is the third book in the The Acceptance Series.

Kate made an impulsive decision, one that could cost her. She works to make amends and has to choose who she wants to be with and move forward with. The choice seems impossible, how can you choose between two men who love you so much and you love back? Which love is the romance love of your life love and which is love of a great friend?

Poor Kate has so much to deal with especially with the arrival of baby Lucas. Everything is up in the air and unclear at the moment for Kate. Does Kate wait too late to declare her love to the man of her dreams? Can she win him back? Kate is hoping for an second chance at love but can this man forgive and forget? Can she truly lose the love of her life or will his love for Kate win out?

What an amazing ending to this series. I loved it! There are so many twists and turns that you don't see coming and have to be dealt with along with forgiveness. This book starts where the last one ended. There are different POVs for each chapter with most of them of Kate, Daniel and Mike. If you think you know how it will end your wrong. I loved the ending and regardless if your team Daniel or Mike. I think you will be happy. I felt that at the end everything ended the way it should have. There are so many emotional moments and I cried my heart out. I absolutely loved all the characters and even though I wasn't team Mike. I saw another side of him in this book and came to really like his character too.

If you have been through all the other books in this series, you know it will be an emotional roller coaster of feelings and emotions. I seriously recommend you to pick up the first book in the series and go for an ride. You won't regret it! Its a must read and will break you and then slowly put you back together!

*A copy given by author, in return for an honest review.*

I love you as big as the sky. As Mike and Kate would say.

This is a bittersweet ending for the whole gang, almost everyone gets their very deserving happy ending. I was always #TeamMike through out the series, but in the end, I understand and get why #TeamDaniel is who belongs with Kate. Mike is my favorite character from this series and I am happy with the outcome of his life. His story didn’t end as I expected it to be, but it made a lot of sense.

This book is about the journey of the group of friends, plus extended friends, they all adopted through their journey to adulthood. All the sadness and emotions each one of them go through in this book is heartbreaking, but in the end it was all worth it. All the life experiences they all go through, made each one of them stronger. They are a wild bunch that grows up through all the pain and love that life has brought them. Great ending, I am no way disappointed with the outcome. Thx for an awesome ending D. Kelly.

I have been dying to find out who Kate ends up with. But this book is so much more! Just when you think you have it figured out, a whole new spin throws everything upside down! This is the perfect tell all, answer all book four. Dee Kelly found a way to make this build up so much more than I was expecting. It is an epic love story with an epic tale to fit. So much happens in the book that by the time you reach the end, you feel like nothing was left out.
Kate had made a very questionable decision at the end of Releasing Kate. No one was sure if she would choose Mike or Daniel. Or whether they would choose her after that. Both men are faced with life changing decisions that will affect the whole group. Vanessa and Chad have Lucus to deal with, and they have something even bigger to face as well. What happens there affects every single one of the tight group. April and Jake have the wedding coming, Kate and her friends have graduation upon them, there is trouble in paradise with Conner and Jess, too much to list!
But, baby Lucus will make or break our favorite twenty somethings in ways you can't even dream of. Kate is totally taken with the sweet little boy. Vanessa may not be the bad guy she was painted as. And Mike has a life changing truth to face from an unlikely source. All of it combines into one holy cow moment after another. If you love Kate, Jess, April, Mike, Conner, Jake, Daniel, Marc, Vanessa, and Chad, this is one book you cannot miss. The way their story s wrapped up will leave you speechless. I never saw it coming.

An amazing ending to a amazing series.it does have some good ugly cry and people or husbands will look at you weird. you have to read the books in order in the series they can not be read as stand alones. the order is Breaking Kate, Catching Kate, Releasing Kate, and Loving Kate.
Ok so now about the book...
when I last left kate she was in the middle of a huge love triangle, she had some crazy things thrown at her that any normal person would of had a melt down, but nope not kate shes strong, and puts everyone ahead of herself which really makes me respect her as a character. she had the weight of the world on her shoulders and she still came out ahead. kate had some choices to make, did she wwant to be with Daniel or mike? mike owned her heart since they were kids, is that enough for her to choose him? then Daniel hold her heart in a very different way, but again is it enough to win kate's heart?

Daniel now had a curve ball thrown at him that could either make or break him and kate. this curve ball was not your normal curve ball, it literally thru every ones lives in a tail spin. so now all the friends have to come together. is there friendship enough to keep them afloat?

mike ive always had a special place for mike, I was never team Daniel or team mike. mike walked away from kate shortly after high school due to rumors, but then he sees kate again, but kates with his best friend that he considers a brother. well everything blows up they both lose her. will mike lose her forver or will mike gets his HEA with kate?

Loving Kate is a book I was really looking forward to read, but I was also said that this was the last book in a series that I absolutely loved. D. Kelly didn’t disappoint me.
When I started reading Loving Kate I wished that I had had the time to reread the earlier books in the series because I was a little bit confused at first. I remembered the MAIN characters but I had forgotten some of the minor ones. However, it wasn’t long before I remembered who was who and what had happened previously. That was probably because the Acceptance Series books are very memorable.
I know a book is really good when I want to have a serious ‘talk’ to the characters and tell them what they should do. This has happened to me in every single book in this series. I loved these characters so much that I wanted to make sure they were doing the ‘right’ thing. I also wanted to hug them.
I love D. Kelly’s writing. It’s not predictable and she throws curve balls every so often that have me worried. They certainly have me flipping the pages as quickly as I can to see what happens. But it’s the characters that I love the most. They are ‘real’ people and I am always able to connect and empathise with them. I’ve even cried.
D. Kelly ties up Kate’s story, as well as her friends’ stories, in a beautiful bow and I was left with a big smile in my face even though I know the party is over.
I gave Loving Kate 5 beautiful stars.

Loving Kate by D. Kelly is the last book in the Acceptance Series, and in this book we find out what happens with everyone with all the things that have been going on since the first book. In this book we find out what Kate did in the third book has serious repercussions for all of the main characters in all the books. Kate loves two men, her boyfriend that she started loving since she was a young 7 year old girl, and his best friend. When she finally decides will the man she feels is the one for her be able to forgive her, or will she find herself losing everything?
An incredibly sad turn of events forces Kate and and the man she has chosen into daily contact and Kate is hoping with everything in her that it will be the time she needs for him to realize they are meant to be together.
It is imperative that you read the three books before this final book so you will understand all the things that have gone on with each character and Kate as well. There is a lot of emotional and sexual angst in these books that makes for an awesome series. The way the author builds everything up and how it all pans out is incredibly satisfying so I ask you this -are you team Mike or are you team Daniel?!
Read the series-you will be so glad you did and I know you will be satisfied with the way it ends up! I gave this book a big 5***** stars and all the books were the same rating as they were that good.

ARC received in return for an honest review

From the first few pages of Loving Kate I was crying. I have been since day one of The Acceptance Series #TeamMichael. The opening scenes in the the book solidified my reasonings for it. The love Kate and Michael have for each other will always be there. From there the rest of the book just got even better. More tears, more laughter, more surprises all bring this group of friends full circle. No matter what, this group of friends has each others backs. And truly, that is what the series is all about. Teams are chosen just as I have but this series is more about a group of friends who truly have a unique bond. It starts as a story of Kate and Michael and first love and hurt. Friends like Jess always at your side. Finding new love with Daniel, Michael’s best friend, putting up with Connerism’s, grounded by Jake and April, and then there is Marc. The one who everyone seems to hate but Kate. Vanessa who went from bad girl to mother of baby Lucas and Chad who loves her no matter what. But in the end, the story comes full circle to Michael and Kate whose love for each other is “bigger than the sky”.
Dee Kelly nailed it in Loving Kate with ending this series. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I would have to say my love for Loving Kate is “bigger than the sky”! Thank you Dee Kelly!

This is a hard review to write without giving away too much!! D. Kelly brings love, triumph, friendship, heartbreak, and of course...enough steam to fog your glasses to this final installment of the Acceptance Series- Loving Kate.
Our heroine Kate has been through every imaginable obstacle on her way to attaining her dreams and the love of her life. And I believe that Kate shines in this book! She knows her heart and above all which man it belongs too. Even diehard #TeamMike and #TeamDaniel fans can’t argue with Kate’s decision and you will cheer her on as she fights for what is hers!
The wonderful thing about Kelly’s tale is that we have also fallen in love with her characters. The story is woven in such a way…it’s like sitting with the closest of friends who are sharing a story with you. The love you feel between Kate’s friends is REAL! And don’t worry… because Kelly is #teamhappyending , Loving Kate will not disappoint or leave you wondering, as she bring the story together not forgetting each and every integral person in this saga.
Anything more than a full-hearted READ THIS SERIES would be a spoiler alert LOL! If you are already a fan of the series- Loving Kate will complete you. If you are just getting started - get ready to laugh, cry, get shocked, get Sexy, and most of all LOVE with Kelly’s Acceptance Series!

Sometimes in life it takes an event to make you realize what in life is truly important and the mistakes that are made along the way are part of life’s lesson. They need to be left in the past and help to make you into a stronger person. This is what Kate, Jess, Daniel & Michel has had to learn. D. Kelly has taken me on an emotional journey where I have laughed, cried, and rooted for each member of this group of friends. I have been an #TeamDaniel fan from the beginning. I felt very protected over Kate and I loved the powerful all consuming sexual chemistry that the two brought out in each other. I liked that Daniel showed Kate how to live again and see a future. And when Michael came back into the picture I was not a happy girl. It took me quite awhile to actually like Michael. But in the end Dee showed me that Michael was just a lost soul also that needed healing. I liked the person that Michael became I am sad to see this series come to an end. I have fallen in love with this group of friends. They shared a bond with each other that helped them get through all their trial and tribulations. Thank you D. Kelly for bring us this amazing series of survival and the importance of friendship and love

Received as an ARC for a honest review. But was also asked for no spoilers... so without spoiling here goes.

Omg! Such a wonderful way to end a series that sends you through a rollercoaster of emotions.

Most people are team Daniel and why shouldn't they be? Daniel and Kate have the kind of relationship any normal person would be jealous of. But in my heart I have always been Team Michael. I just fell in love with him from the beginning, and rooted for him from day one.

It really sucks because I would love to count down the ways this book is awesome. So in the most vague answers possible with no spoilers here goes.

1.) Daniel (kinda liked him more at the end)
2.) Kate ( perfect way to give her what she needed)
3.) Vanessa (ummmmmmmmm yup)
4.) Mike (CHeer, I knew it!)
5.) Marc - Studly
6.) Connor and Jess - (Adorbs)
7.) April and Jake - (Amazing things can't wait till Christmas)
8.) The ending! Yup you will definitely cheer
9.) The baby!
10.) The series ended amazingly!

So there you go probably the most vague rundown of a book you will ever see. I will miss my threesome of Daniel Mike and Kate and the foursome component thrown in. It's a great series and I highly recommend to everyone!

I've followed this series from the very beginning. I've waited and waited some more just to get my hands on just a tiny piece of what was happening next!
It's no secret I've been #TeamDaniel from the very beginning. After I read Catching Kate (book 1.5 DONT SKIP IT) I was so torn but I still held out hope for my guy.
All through Loving Kate I couldn't help but notice... Maybe I've been wrong? Because really when it all comes falling down the most important thing here is friends. Friends that are family. #TeamOneBigHappyFamily!! Yes there's still a triangle to work out... Lots of twists and turns true to Dee's mind-fuck ways. But seeing the series comes to a close... It's so obvious that there's such a bigger picture here. And that's the beauty of the whole series. It's such a beautiful sorry about love and acceptance of each other as you are (hence The Acceptance Series... I see what you did there Ms. Kelly).
I cried so much but I still laughed and wanted to wring some necks LOL and I think that's the point for me in reading... to FEEL something. And I've felt it all.
I've seen Dee's writing grow and mature but still stay true to her style and her wicked ways. I can't wait to see what comes next for this author.

Woohooo, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book!!!! I had to know who Kate was going to choose...would she choose Daniel or would she choose Mike??? This has been one heck of a ride!! I have laughed, I have cried, I have yelled and almost threw my kindle across the room!!! OMG, Dee Kelly you have me an emotional mess over here but now that I have all the answers I finally want, I am sad it is over!! It has been one heck of a bittersweet journey!!

From book one after the way things went down between Kate and Mike I was hands down #TeamDaniel but the more you read the more your heart can't decide if it wants to be #TeamDaniel or #TeamMike!! You learn more on why things went the way they did for Mike but was it enough to make me jump teams completely and be #TeamMIke??

Trust me, pick up this series and read it!! You will NOT regret it!! There are so many twists and turns and bumps along the way but it will grab you and have you hooked right from the start!!

Will Kate choose Daniel or Mike?? Well guess what.....I'm not telling!! You just have to trust me and go one click this series now!!! Dee Kelly....you my friend are absolutely Amazing!!!! I can't wait for more from you in the future!!!
