Hi. I’m Delilah P. Darling. You know that moment when you wake up in the drunk tank with glitter in your bra, a questionable tattoo, and a court-appointed therapist? Yeah. Same. I’m not unstable. I’m just deeply, court-mandatedly committed to personal growth. After an unfortunate glitter incident, I’m sentenced to six weeks of mandatory self-reflection with a professional. Enter Dr. Rhys tall, broody, emotionally unavailable and exactly the kind of man I should not be picturing bending me over a mahogany desk while lecturing me about healthy boundaries. I swear I’m trying to get better. Or at least fake it convincingly enough to stay out of jail and get my emotional support stalker tendencies under control. But between Rhys’s dangerously hot lectures, a fellow anger management case with rage issues and the kind of jawline that belongs in a mugshot collage, and a security guard who blushes when I flirt and says “ma’am” like it’s a mating call, I might be catching feelings in every direction. Welcome to my healing arc. The feelings are big, the impulse control is DOA, and the office-based sex fantasies are escalating. It’s not stalking. It’s aggressive affection.
A spicy romcom about court-mandated healing, inappropriate fantasies, and the very real possibility of climaxing during a feelings check-in.
Hot mess FMC in mandated therapy🖊️ Therapist love interest with boundaries she wants to violate🔥 Possessive bad boy with rage issues and criminal chemistry🐶 Golden retriever security guard who blushes and says “ma’am”📋 Therapy charts, impulsive chaos, and wildly inappropriate thoughts Heat Explicit, filthy, emotionally unhinged. No fade-to-black.
Content This book contains mental health themes, therapy sessions, chaotic behavior, consensual spicy situations, stalking-as-a-love-language, and language filthier than your group chat.
Gwendoline Rose admits she’s not quite right. But who the hell wants to be? Maybe it was the steady diet of fairy tales spiked with horror. Maybe it was the cream cookies and undiagnosed autism.
Either way, she’s always rooted for the villain, questioned the happy endings, and wondered why the hell the princess would ever settle for Prince Beige.
Now she writes emotionally raw, hilariously unhinged romance for the beautifully broken, the chronically overstimulated, the neurodivergents, the survivors, the ones who feel too much and love even harder.
Diagnosed late with autism, cPTSD, and enough rare disorders to fill a bingo card, she now channels the chaos into characters who crave connection but have absolutely no idea how to do it “right.”
Her heroines are feral. Her men are emotionally constipated. And her stories don’t fade to black, they set it on fire.
If you’ve ever been told you’re too intense, too sensitive, too much… welcome home.
Im undecided between 3 and 4 ⭐️ but i was feeling generous. So if you’re going into this book just keep an open mind and don’t think too much about things, just have fun. Because the fmc is a lot, like a LOT. She reminded me of Gianna from maddest obsession if she was on crack. But only because of her fashion choices which were all pink and sparkles. Now the thing i don’t usually read is the trope where the fmc is the one who’s the stalker so again have an open mind when reading this. I also didn’t like the fmc’s constant comments about other women body types (she called another girl a walking breadstick) or comments about their sex lives as if you’re the only one who has good sex just grow tf up. But then again fmc has a lot of trauma which you can see in her behavior but the book doesn’t really reflect on how or why she’s like this so 🤷🏼. As for the mmc’s i loved them all. They were all very different and complex and you can easily tell them apart. The writing style was weird. She often wrote sentences with an and in between when describing stuff like - this was like this and this or - this made me feel that and that. Also the length of the book was unnecessary cause how do you write an almost 500 page book that spans over only 2 weeks?. Safety: the book was safe. This is the first RH i read where the mmcs didn’t know each prior to the fmc. And somewhere in the middle of the book when one mmc finds out about the 2 other guys i was genuinely anxious thinking he was gonna go hook up with someone else cause hes impulsive and said he wanted to erase the fmc but none of that happened and the book was surprisingly safe and that gets resolved in a few chapters. The only ow drama was from one of the guys hook ups from before the book starts. They only slept once and the mmc was not interested. I loved that the fmc wasn’t jealous and took care of the girl herself. There wasn’t any om drama except her ex which is the reason she is in therapy but he also gets taken care of.
Overall the book was fun and just read it for the smut which was hot af.
me running to this author's books, while listening to fresh out of the slammer....
so our dear fmc is in court mandated therapy becaue she was stalking her ex, but never mind first day on therapy she already finds 3 other way better mmcs!!! i love my fmcs crazy!!
totally safe, one of the mmc took too long to join (considering he was her therapist makes sense but cmon)
I don't even know what to say. Delilah is unhinged. There's stalking. Many incorrect choices for those that follow societal norms... but the main characters in this book are not going to fall into that.
Delilah has some insane thoughts and is willing to voice them all ... as she stalks you, breaks into your house and leaves you glitter bombs.
Benji is an adorable puppy. He's not afraid of crazy because he likely is a little crazy himself.
Jett is an emotionally stunted, hot mess. He has anger issues but takes them out at the gym, riding his motorcycle or just pounding into ... someone.
Rhys is not what you think he is. He's professional and clean cut on the outside but he's hiding something dirty in there.
The only thing I wasn't fond of was that almost everything takes place within a few weeks. How does one fall in love with someone as well as grow in that amount of time? I don't know. You'll need to ask the author.
Otherwise, this book is amazing.
Chicken Man... I love you with everything I am. I will never forget you. For the flock.
My new favorite from Miss Gwendoline Rose. It was SO. FREAKING. GOOD.
I loved all the characters. I loved how they all complimented each other so well. I loved the smutty scenes. So well done. I loved the absurdity and (absolutely necessary) dramatics of the FMC. I loved Destiny I loved The Chicken Man
I loved how real the main characters felt. Yes it was absurd and dramatic but their struggles felt so real. Their thought processes were so intricate and well done and I felt like I understood them.
I feel like with her other books everything was so the extreme and it made them fun reads, but with this one, we still had extremes but the characters were also so relatable. I found myself crying at one point and the HEA just meant so much more after getting a deeper insight to their struggles. It was still just as insane and unhinged as her other books, but leveled up.
So amazing! Can’t wait for more from this amazing author.
Everything she writes is magic. Im obsessed with her obsessed FMCs. I love how unapologetically unhinged they are. And I love how the MMCs just always(eventually) accept it. This book was 5 stars. I need more like this. My only lingering question was, What does Delilah do for work?
Let me tell you, this author is a chef’s kiss :::bowing and scraping::: we’re not worthy, we’re not worthy. If you do not laugh within the first chapter of this book then I’m sorry but you have lost the plot and your humor has completely deserted you. I snorted, I giggled, I even did that cough gurgle laugh where it gets caught in your throat because it shocked you stupid. Everything circles back around in this book, even the side characters. I always come away with one thought at the end of one of these books by Ms. Rose…I want more! So if you love a FMC that knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go for it regardless of boundaries and those pesky restraining orders. Those are just suggestions anyways, right? I mean stalking smalking. He wasn’t worthy of charges anyways, but the MMCs? Yes please. Golden retriever vibes? Grumpy agro biker with a whole 2x4 on his shoulder, not just a chip and you can’t forget the consummate professional therapist that is hanging on by a thread. She hunted those men like prey, but is it really her fault that they fell into her path? They fell like dominos and it was gloriously fun to read! So stop, read, get hooked like I did…you won’t regret it.
Ok I will say this again and again bra fucking vo. As usual this book hits everything so good lol. The plot, the spice and the humor all wrapped into one. I’m literally obsessed with her books. I absolutely love it. Keep em coming babe mama needs her books lol.
I had to rearrange my brain for this one. It was intense, vivid and unique. I've never read another book like it. I've never had thoughts like this before. I believe a five minute walk through Ms. Rose's mind would leave one looking like they barely survived the Barbie zombie Apocalypse. And they'd be better for it.
This was madness wrapped in sparkly ribbon and dusted with glitter. This was all your favorite character traits in one harem from the golden retriever cinnamon roll hero to the ragey hate to love you hero to the gentlemen who tries to resist a losing battle and makes the fall so sweet. And our Delilah who is a Tasmanian devil wrapped in pretty pink and shimmering with glitter who shows affection aggressively and unapologetically. I loved this book, it was the first I’ve read of this author and it sucked me in on the first page.
I seriously laughed so hard I cried. My husband kicked me to the couch so he could sleep. Seriously HILARIOUS. Sweet, funny, therapy, and anger management? SIGN. ME. UP. Come join Delilah on her wild ride of glitter bombs, mug shots, and aggressive love.
So this book started off so strong. I was having a blast the first third of the book but then after that, it became repetitive. In no time, all three mmcs are "in love" with her but yet not once had an actual conversation? Like, they know next to nothing real about each other. It just doesn't have enough smut to support going that way. Honestly, I kept reading for Benji and Rhys. On a positive note, the group scene at the end was fantastic. I get that Delilah is not mentally well, but she's also pretty stupid. She could really learn alot from Dolly (All My Love by Daisy Jane)
I liked it. Definitely some variance in tone. Sometimes, it seemed like a relatively well-executed book. Sometimes, it felt like the characters weren't talking to each other and there was a lot of jibber jabber noise with limited true meaning. Either way, I enjoyed it well enough.
No virgins. This book was real engaging in the first 30% and then it was a lot, not in a good way. Ended up skimming through the rest just to be done with it, except the parts where Jett and Delilah keep getting arrested, those scenes are hilarious gold.
Loved this book!!! Loved Delilah & the guys!!! She is so much different from the usual FMC’s I’ve read. I really liked her!!!
RH Romance (3 MMCs) Obsessed MMCs Unhinged Hot Mess FMC in Mandated Therapy Stalking No real OWD (More info ⬇️) No real OMD (More info ⬇️) No Cheating/Virgins/Intimate scene with OP Mental Health themes Lots of Glitter No Third Act Break Up Multi POV (First Person) HEA
Delilah was a straight up unhinged psycho!!! I don’t know where she found the time to stalk all 3 of them. Let alone do half the crazy shit she does. I spent most of the book wondering where Delilah comes up with the shit she says, most of the time I had to do a double take and think did she really just say/did she really just think that? The word subtle and boundaries didd not exist to her.
Don’t get me wrong. I’ve loved all three of them. But I absolutely LOVED BENJI!!!!! he has a special place in my heart. 💛Benji the Golden Retriever who blushes and says ma’am 🖤Jett the possessive bad boy with anger issues 🩶Rhys the therapist with inappropriate thoughts
What I Loved The Journal entries Rhys sessions notes The therapy sessions The group chat the guys had. The guys getting Delilah a gift. Her and Jett getting arrested together.
OWD Benji one time drunken hook up/HOA President whom he doesn’t care about at all, makes an appearance and tries to cause trouble. Rhys draws nude models. He says “Drawing strangers nude is about detachment and discipline.”
OMD Hank, Delilah’s ex makes an appearance and tries to cause trouble. I want to be clear that Delilah no longer cares about him.
Fav Quotes
Rhys “I nod slowly, because I have no idea what the hell I’m agreeing to anymore. But I know one thing. She’s going to end me. And I’m going to thank her when she does.”
“Listening to her is like watching a car crash in slow motion, except she’s the one behind the wheel, grinning, while I’m strapped in the passenger seat wondering when the airbags are going to deploy.”
“And that’s how I end up, sitting between two men I never thought I’d trust, clutching a tiny bag of her candies in one hand while a teen girl with blue hair and a questionable license shoots a needle through my earlobe. Twice.”
Delilah “And you can’t fucking tell, right? It’s like confessional rules. Priest with a PhD.”
“Who says mine with their mouth full of neck and then goes to buy fries like we didn’t just trauma-bond through orgasm?? Is that normal? Is that courtship?”
“They put me in a holding cell with a woman named Tammy who asks if I believe in aliens. I say only the sexy ones. She nods like she gets it.”
Benji “I’m ninety percent sure she’s going to ruin me in ways therapy doesn’t cover. And I’m okay with it. I’d let her.”
Jett “Might need the cash to bail her ass out or make sure she’s lawyered up and not just charming some poor public defender with those eyes and that filthy, sugar-slick mouth.”
“This is the Twilight Zone. I’ve slipped into a different plane of existence where men who want the same woman exchange digits like teammates before a fantasy draft.”
the animosity and jealousy between the heroes when they find out the heroine wants all three of them? 😍
the friendship that forms between the heroes? 😍😍😍
the way they're 100% devoted to the heroine?? 😍👏👏😍
i loved it. and i loved the chapters written from the perspective of the heroes.
what i didn't love and why my rating isn't higher? the chapters written from the heroine's perspective have SO MUCH tiktok language in them. as in, basically every sentence is a sentence that sounds like it's taken straight from tiktok. it's really exhausting to read. the word "trauma" appears 52 times throughout this 450 page book. NOT because the heroine's past trauma is discussed, but because the word "trauma" is thrown around casually so much (it's a tiktok thing). the heroine thinks almost exclusively in comparisons in this really tiktok kinda way. "it's pink, like a threat". what does that mean?? sooo many sentences just don't mean anything except that they're sentences you'd see on tiktok. along with "girlies", "eyeliner so sharp it could [insert smth edgy here]", etc., etc...
it's alluded to that the heroine has some kind of past trauma. we don't ever hear anything more about it, though. we literally know zero things about the heroine. not her job, not her past, nothing.
i thought about DNF'ing, especially in the beginning when i felt slapped in the face by tiktok buzzwords, but i ended up finishing it anyway. honestly, mostly because the dynamic between the Hs and the dynamic between the Hs and h are SO much fun.
im probably gonna try out other books by this author. she's clearly a good writer. i really loved reading the chapters from the perspective of the heroes, since they were pretty devoid of tiktok speak.

I am bingeing Kristen Ashley but in between I'm checking out some new authors or other old-to-me authors. This is the 3rd book I'm reading from this author. I enjoyed her Bunker Down, Baby book which was my 1st read from her and wanted to see if the magic continued so tried 2 more books but this one will probably be my last. I have several burning issues but the one that stood the most WHAT DID THE FMC DO FOR A LIVING? Was she from a wealthy family so she didn't have to work? This wasn't mentioned yet all the MMCs had jobs 🤔 She had all the time in the world to stalk her conquests and those she felt had affronted her, to buy those gift bags etc but how did she come about the money. I waited and waited but nada I don't know why of all things this was what frustrated me immensely but here we are. I just couldn't get over it
I loved this story. I got to live in it for so long, and yet somehow I’m already done with it on day one. Delilah was hilarious, but OMG, I need a Benji in my life yesterday. And don’t even get me started on the little details that had me cracking up: the worm, the chicken guy, Poptart bra lady.
It was so much more than comedy. It hit me right in the feels. How does that even happen? I’m laughing my butt off one minute, and the next I’m all emotional. Jett and Rhys were amazing too. Don’t get me wrong, I’d take all three, but Benji? Yes, please.
I love my unhinged FMCs, and I adore Delilah! I really liked that this was longer than the authors other books (most of which I also very much enjoy).
I appreciate how the MMCs work through their jealousy instead of everyone immediately being down with the harem life. The MCs having to deal with the law when they break it makes the story flow better for me, I hate when there seems to be no legal repercussions in books.
perks - a really refreshing and not cookie cutter FMC, legitimate issues in the relationship, some of my favorite MMCs possibly ever in an RH novel, laughed out loud at points, Chicken Man
not perks - some phrases reused WAY too much "all ___ and ___" every two seconds got really old really fast, wish there had been a *bit* more character development for Delilah re: how she became the way she is
overall super enjoyed it and will give her other works a try!
I loved the dialogue and banter between characters. Definitely laughed out loud a few times. 4 stars given because there was a lot of information missing for the FMC in regards to her background that would have provided better context in the scenarios of her past. The smut was definitely on point and I’d give 4/5 🌶️. (No MM)
