Mickey(Merrick) and Maria

Mickey works for/with Luca, Ace, and Carmine. They are all bestfriends, but Luca is the BOSS. Mickey and Maria meet in childhood and have been around each other since then in adulthood, they are both fighting their attraction to each other. Maria is Luca's cousin and share a friendship with the women dating the other bestfriends.

Mickey is fighting his attraction because he knows that Luca is very protective of Maria, especially, since she was almost harmed. But, he can only hide it for so long after he learns that she has began dating.

Maria knows that Luca would have an issue with Maria dating a made man, even if he is a friend. She decides to date other people, but Micky would find out and interrupt it. She decides to step it up a notch and kisses Mickey. He did not respond in a positive way, so she hides away from him and others.

After the kiss she avoids him, but a friend takes pitty on her and take her to see Mickey. They do adults things and then Mickey cuts her off, now they are both not eating or sleeping......smt

Of course they get over the miscommunication, but now what are they gonna do about her cousin Luca?

Mickey & Maria will make you swoon!

I loved this one! I’ve been expected for Mickey and Maria’s book for some time now and their story was what I expected and more! Mickey is Luca’s man, a friend and protector of the Mafia Don. Maria is Luca’s cousin. Mickey and Maria were friends since childhood. They both harbored feelings for each other – since they were children, Mickey loved her. But danger and enemies approach from every turn and Mickey has to decide if pushing her away or pulling her close is the best way to protect her. What will he decide? How will Luca react? And will Maria allow the men in her life make every decision for her? Both Mickey and Maria were swoon-worthy and I couldn’t put the book down till the very last page. 5 stars

Since reading the last book in this series I have been waiting for this book to come out to see how Mickey and Maria navigate their attraction to one another while avoiding Luca who is extra protective of her. This book had me on the edge of my seat the minute I started reading and I had to finish it. It was sooo good and well written. I love the how Mickey will stop her dates before they have even begun and Maria has no idea that it is because he loves her and she thinks its his obligation to keep her safe and in that gilded cage. Her friends see what is happening and give little nudges here and there. This whole series has fast become one of my favs to the point I know I will most definitely be re-reading them. This is a must read!!!

Heartfelt And Powerful…

‘His Ruthless Desire’ demonstrates just how you can be both heartfelt and powerful. With every turn of the page you’re being given a glimpse into a world where either you are in or not in. That life and that world has a way of not only choosing you but also making you.

He knew she was off limits, but one kiss was all it took for Mickey to make her his. They have a strong pull towards each other, but Maria is off limits per the Don. Will their relationship be the death of them. this thrilling story had me connecting with these two and glued to my seat to see how it all ends for them.
It is a riveting story filled with action-packed drama.

Loved reading His Ruthless Desire. I found myself glued to Maria and Mickey’s story and read it in one day because it was so good. The bond between them was extremely strong and ended up super HOT. Loved their story!!
