Luna Mason may be the only author that can make my anxiety so high during a book, dislike the FMC and still give it 4 stars. The Luna universe is one that I will continue to read no matter what but this one put me through the wringer. I will always love a second chance romance…technically this one is a third time chance but theres no denying that Ace and Harper were meant to be together.
Ace was the biggest YEARNER in this. I love a man so down bad, he’s been celibate since she left, sign me up. And the fact that he ripped my heart out multiple times in this, just give me more. I felt like he took it easy on Harper when she came back both times, but when you know you know. Harper was a different story. Did I think she made dumb choices? Absolutely. Did I think she loved Ace the only way she knew how? Also, absolutely. Their love so monumental, so consuming, she didn’t know how to process it existed in the world. But I did love she folded like a lawn chair for Ace when she came back. She could have groveled more in my opinion but Ace is a man so in love, he just wanted Harper.
The Sterling family in this was absolutely chefs kiss and one of my favorite things. I love a good family and also a found family within it. I love this series and the expansion of it, the plot and how Luna just writes a mafia romance.
Another thing I love about a Luna book is the past character name drop. I eat that up so hard.

First off, thank you to Luna Mason and Valentine PR for sending me an ARC🤠💛
I just absolutely loved this book and had a great time while reading it. I mean the plot is always great, it was interesting and expanded on some things in the Luna Mason universe. The characters are so fun to read about. The romance between Ace and Harper was just amazing. I hate to say it but I’m a sucker for second chance romances.
Ace is such a yearner, I mean the man stayed celibate for six years in hopes that she would come back to him and he remembered every little detail that she told him when they were younger. Also, I love how respectful he was to Harper and her feelings when they were getting back together.
I liked Harper overall, but she wasn’t my favourite FMC by Luna Mason. But I still enjoyed reading about her. There was just some minor things that bothered me.
However, I absolutely loved her and Ace together. I mean their connection is undeniable. They have an emotional connection and crazy amount of chemistry too. It was real nice to see them find their way back to each other and how despite not being together for six years, they still very much love each other and their connection was just as strong as ever. Plus those spicy scenes between them were just chef’s kiss.

I’m dehydrated from how much Luna made me cry in this book (happy and sad… mostly sad).
Harper and Ace were absolutely everything to me. The ups and downs they went through put me through every emotion possible, but it was worth it for the end. I loved all the plots mixing around in this book and how Harper and Ace kept getting pulled apart. They were so clearly meant for each other but the universe wanted them to fight for each other.
My heart rate spiked many times but what is a reward if there is no pain? The enemy plots in this book kept me guessing who the true bad guy was and they just kept coming out of left field. Hudson was a POS but I feel like that was evident from the start.
Hot, spicy, sweet, loving, surprising, dark, and full of suspense. Loved this book to Frank and back.

I am a big fan of yearning and it has always been you but this book brought it next level.
The way both Ace and Harper haven’t moved on after 6 years and still yearn for another made my stomach ache in the best way.
A man like Ace who hasn’t touched another woman in 6 years, mop me up! This man is devoted and never gave up.
Mix that in with mafia wars in a small town, hot cowboys and fierce women and you get a book I could not put away!
I loved Ace’s dedication and how Harper loved him so much she protected him from a distance, these two were perfect.
Where in Untamed things went fast, this HEA was slooooow burn and I loved it.

This book had everything that makes my heart hurt in the best way: childhood sweethearts, years of silence, mafia danger, cowboy grit, secrets, heartbreak, and a man who never once stopped loving the woman who broke him.
Ace Sterling absolutely broke me.
There is something so painful about a hero who keeps holding on even when the person he loves keeps pushing him away. Six years of texting Harper with no reply?
Every birthday, every Christmas, every vulnerable moment where he still sent something because his heart could not let go? That kind of dedication was both beautiful and devastating. I swear, half the book I was crying for him, because you could feel how much he loved her and how badly her silence destroyed him.
Harper’s treatment of Ace was hard for me at first. I will be honest, it frustrated me so much. The way she left, the way she stayed away, the way she let him believe certain things — it hurt. It felt cruel in some moments, especially because Ace clearly never moved on. But at the same time, once her reasons started coming out, I could understand why she made the choices she did. It does not mean it did not hurt, but it made her pain and her sacrifice feel more complicated.
That is what made the story so emotional for me. Harper was not just being cold for no reason. She had secrets. She was protecting people from the shadows. She loved Ace quietly, even when that silence made him believe she did not love him anymore. And that kind of love is messy, painful, and so heartbreaking because both of them were suffering in completely different ways.
Ace, my baby boy, was the heart of this book for me. The way he yearned for Harper to come back was so cute and heartbreaking at the same time. He was angry, hurt, confused, and still completely hers. Even when everything looked impossible, he never truly gave up on her. He fought for her. He fought for their relationship. He fought for the love they had before everything went wrong.
When Harper came back to their hometown, she did not come back for him. She came back for her job, for the secrets, for the danger surrounding his family. But Ace made it clear that he was still there. Still waiting. Still fighting. Still loving her like no time had passed.
That part got me.
I loved how Ace refused to let her pretend their love was dead. He kept showing her, telling her, and proving that he was not giving up. He had every reason to be angry, and honestly, he was. But underneath all of that was a man who loved her so deeply it hurt to read.
The mafia side of the story added so much tension. Harper, being a criminal journalist, investigating crimes, protecting Ace’s family, and carrying secrets that could start a war, made everything feel dangerous. Then add in the fact that she is engaged to another man? The drama was truly dramatic.
I was stressed, but in a way where I could not stop reading because I needed to know how everything would explode.
And the cowboy part? Ace, being a professional bull rider mixed with mafia underboss energy, was such a dangerous combination. He has that rough cowboy strength, but when his Sterling family line is crossed, the softness disappears, and the reckoning begins. I loved that contrast. He is not just a cowboy. He is not just a lover boy. He is dangerous when the people he loves are threatened.
The angst in this book was heavy. The yearning was everywhere. You could feel the history between Ace and Harper in every interaction. They had love, pain, betrayal, longing, and unfinished business all tangled together. Their connection felt like something that could not be erased, no matter how much time passed or how many secrets stood between them.
One of my favorite parts was watching Harper slowly crack. She tried so hard to keep herself guarded and to act like she could keep a distance between them, but Ace knew her. He knew their love was still there. The way she eventually surrendered to being with him was so satisfying because you could feel how much both of them needed that moment. It was cute, emotional, and honestly made all the heartbreak feel worth it.
This book gave me dark mafia tension, cowboy romance, childhood sweethearts, second chance, “she’s engaged to another man” chaos, criminal journalist danger, secrets, betrayal, yearning, heartbreak, and a hero who said with his whole soul that there is no him without her.
Overall, Unleashed was emotional, dramatic, intense, and so addictive. Ace and Harper’s love was messy, painful, and full of history, but that is what made it hit so hard. They were not perfect. Their story was not easy. But the love between them felt impossible to ignore.

😭❤️ I genuinely don't know how Luna keeps raising the bar, but somehow every new release leaves me even more emotional than the last.
Ace and Harper completely stole my heart. Their story isn't just a second-chance romance—it's about two people who never truly stopped loving each other, no matter how much life tried to pull them apart. From the very beginning, you can feel how deeply Ace has loved Harper, and that never changes. He's the kind of man who would sacrifice absolutely anything for the people he cares about, whether it's his family or the woman who's always owned his heart. 🥹🤠
Ace Sterling is officially one of my favorite book boyfriends. A fearless bull rider with a tough exterior, yet underneath all that strength is the softest, most loyal man imaginable. One minute I was sobbing into my Kindle, the next I was frantically fanning myself because… Luna, what exactly are you putting in your coffee?! 🥵🔥 The spice in this book should honestly come with a fire warning. My Kindle is currently filing an official complaint for unsafe working conditions.
But underneath all that scorching chemistry is one of the most beautiful love stories I’ve read in a long time.

The way luna balanced the cowboy/mafia trope was seriously well done! The storyline just flows so well and keeps on giving. All the characters, you really can't but not love them then. There were some twists that left me gobsmacked, there were moments where I laughed, was sobbing, and was blushing because the spice just wow!

Luna Mason has literally done it again, there are no words to explain it, other that this series is literally a masterpiece. Unleashed has beaten my love for untamed and Ace Sterling has won my heart! Six fucking years he went without other women all because of his love for Harper, now that is devotion at its finest!

I know I say this every time, but Luna killed it with this book!! Ace and Harper’s story is absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful! Ace Sterling, this man has become one of my favorite MMCs, a bull riding cowboy who has never given up on his first love and will do anything for his family!! Sign me up. This man might look big and scary, but he truly is a sweetheart for the people he loves. The way this man loves Harper is beautiful and real. And Harper, this woman is strong and will sacrifice her happy ever after to protect the ones she loves. I love how perfect Harper fits into the Sterling family even after all the years apart; she is truly Ace’s soulmate. I love that these two pick up right where they left off after Harper comes back. I swear Luna’s spicy scenes just get hotter and hotter with each book because Damn!! 🥵🥵 This book is definitely an emotional roller coaster; just when you think they will have their happy ever after, Luna pulls the rug from underneath you!! I love this story so much and the way this couple fights for their love is beautiful and heartbreaking. This book WILL make you cry; this story is so beautifully written and the things this couple has to go through to get their happy ever after is heartbreaking but once they get it you just can’t help but be so happy. I love the side characters in this book from Gianna, who is baddass Mafia Queen who will keep the Sterling boys on their toes, to Jett!! Jett quickly became a favorite character with his flamingo shirt-wearing ways, and how you never know what this man will be up to!! I also loved seeing Colton’s relationship with Ace. This will be one of those books where you want the kind of love that they have, that no matter what, the person will love you regardless and will do anything to keep you safe. This book will live rent-free in your mind especially all the Sterling boys! I am so excited to see what Luna has up her sleeve with the next books, but I just know they will be amazing!!! No, seriously. This was incredible. Amazing. Outstanding. I devoured it in a single day because there was simply no way I was putting it down.
Ace Sterling - where do I even begin?
He was everything I want in a dark romance cowboy hero. Fiercely protective, endlessly devoted, sweet when it mattered most, completely unhinged when someone threatened the people he loved, and just the right amount of morally questionable. The man had my whole heart from beginning to end.
And Harper? She was just as incredible. Strong, courageous, resilient, and more than capable of holding her own in a world that constantly tried to break her. Together, these two were absolute perfection. Their history, their longing, and the love they had for each other jumped off every single page.
The plot had me in an actual chokehold. One chapter I was crying happy tears, the next I was crying because my heart had been ripped out, and then somehow Luna Mason had me blushing, grinning, and completely stressed out all within a few pages. I genuinely never knew what was coming next, and there were several twists that completely caught me off guard.
I also loved the setting. The combination of cowboy life and mafia danger shouldn't work as well as it does but somehow Luna Mason makes it feel completely natural. The stakes were high, the action kept me hooked, and every chapter left me desperate for the next one.
And yes, the spice absolutely delivered. It never felt like it was there just for the sake of it - it fit the characters and their relationship perfectly, making every emotional moment hit even harder.
I also have to mention the side characters because I'm already obsessed with them. Every new person introduced made me even more excited for the future books in this series.
As much as I enjoyed the first book, Unleashed somehow managed to be even better. Bigger emotions. Bigger twists. Bigger obsession.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be impatiently waiting for the next book... preferably yesterday.

Also, LOVED introduction of new players aka Gianna and what’s to come with her and a specific, fluid cowboy. 😉
I loved watching this story unfold because this wasn’t just about finding their way back to each other — it was about healing, fighting for what matters, and realizing that some connections are worth every battle.
Harper was everything. Strong, fierce, and absolutely capable of standing on her own while still allowing herself to be loved.

I received an early copy of this book from @Valentine_pr and I was blown away! As much as I loved the first book in this series, this one was in a whole other category. Right from the beginning it’s clear how much Ace and Harper love each other, even though they haven’t seen each other in so long, but once they’re back together on the ranch, nothing could keep them apart. And Harper? She was the perfect match for him. I loved her strength, her resilience, and the way she never let Ace overshadow her. I absolutely loved everything about this book. The pining, the longing, the chemistry, the plot, the pacing it was all perfection. At over 650 pages, I devoured every single one and never once felt bored. I honestly can’t think of a single thing I didn’t enjoy.
Ace freaking Sterling completely stole my heart, and I’m not even mad about it. He’s the definition of the ultimate book boyfriend: 6’6”, tattooed, pierced, a professional bull rider, fiercely loyal, protective, and absolutely obsessed with his soulmate. What’s not to love?
Harper was just as amazing. She’s strong, fierce, and willing to do whatever it takes to protect the people she loves. Yes, she made the heartbreaking decision to leave Ace, but she did it with good intentions, and you could truly feel how much she suffered while they were apart.
And the spice… whew. 🥵🔥 Let’s just say cold showers weren’t enough I might have needed an ice bath! The chemistry between Ace and Harper was absolutely off the charts.

I love that Jett gets better and better each book! The comedic relief is straight out of a rom- com. Don’t play and think he is two dimensional, though. His time is coming; I can feel it.
Oh my soul. It’s been ripped apart by the devastation that is Harper rand Ace! The years of longing. The years of “it’s only ever been you”. I cried in the first 200 pages of this book- something I was definitely not expecting. There is so much relationship building in this book, but it means the steam is off the charts! Six years of each remembering how the other moved, what the other liked, and the games played. 🥵
Oh. My. Gosh. OhMyGosh! Oh my gah! It keeps repeating in my head. There are twists that twist before they turn in this book! This mob, that mob, AND the other mob?! And the other guy?!Good thing Harper is a baddie! Her investigative skills are top tier and I loved cheering for her and Ace- even as her boss made moves.
I really hope Gianna is as she says she is. I think Harper could use the friend. Plus, I think she has some stories to tell.
This was a highly emotional read, filled with longing, but also action and SPICEY spice. So much spice. The spiciest of the spice. All of the characters were well drawn and I look forward to seeing what’s next for these brothers!

This one wrecked me, tore my soul to pieces, had my stomach in knots, there were plenty of tears and snot, heart palpitations, the works! I don’t think I’ve ever been on more of an emotional rollercoaster!
This was heartbreakingly beautiful. A bull riding, tatted and pierced cowboy who has never given up on his one and only love to the point he couldn’t stomach being with anyone else in the 6 years he and his “Goldie” weren’t together! This is a second chance romance with a twist and the yearning is beyond palpable on both sides. Harper has and will always put Ace and his family before herself, protecting him the only way she knows how, even to the detriment of her own happiness.
It’s so obvious they are soulmates and meant for each other, but it feels like the universe is always working against them. However it seems in Ace and Harper’s story, there can be no true reward without fighting through what feels like insurmountable pain eight seconds at a time.
Luna really knows how to write spice and this one knocked it out of the park and was absolute perfection for this couple.
If you love dark cowboy romance with a blend of mafia, suspense, second chance of all second chances, I can promise you this one will have you reaching for the tissues numerous times throughout.

I was addicted and invested from chapter 1. This had pining and sadness for a lost soulmate like i've never read. The details Luna writes in the memories Ace & Harper have of each other is incredible. This book was literally playing as a blockbuster movie in my mind. I could picture and feel every interaction, every painful expression and emotion like i was witnessing it IRL.
Harper and Ace will rival so many couples that live rent free in your head and heart. Their pain is palpable but so is their love and chemistry. They are both confident and sexy and the primal play between them is fire.

This book right here is a 6💫 really infinity to me. It will stay with you long after you shut your book or turn you kindle off. Their love was amazing and every other emotion you can have. I was not expecting to be affected as much as I was. At one point I was clutching my tissues as a safety blanket like if I held on hard enough the next pages wasn't going to hurt so bad. Spoiler: they didn't help. The blows just keep coming for them. Don't get me wrong this book is not just emotional it is freaking beautiful. I think everyone should read it!!!!!

I cannot wait for the audiobook. I would normally not want to live this emotional roller coaster again but that shows how much I loved it. Also, I would normally finish a book within a day but I wanted to live in the emotions instead of speeding thought it.

What an emotional rollercoaster this book was! Just when you think Harper and Ace are going to get their happy ending it all comes tumbling down… and this book will have you on the edge of your seat about whether or not these two and they’re going get their happy ever after. Ace Stirling in my opinion can do no wrong! This man has loved Harper from the moment he saw her in English class when they were 16 years old and the lengths that this man will go to show his love for her?? Yeh it’s infinite. Plus di I mention he’s 6’6 and likes to chase her??? Yeppppp so there’s that!
Harper leaves him, thinking that she’s doing what’s best for Ace when really she’s just so unhappy and nothing comes close to the happiness she shared with him. These two go the long way around finding their way back to each other- and there were a couple of moments where I wanted to scream at Harper to let Ace in and not leave. Harper has to hit rock bottom to realise she needs to lean on him most, whilst Ace is never wavering and knows ultimately in his heart that he would go to the ends of the earth for her. This book will have you in tears and hysterics. It will most definitely take you on an epic journey- buckle up because she’s a thick one, with so many highs lows and Easter eggs for what comes next.

Luna does it again with this amazing read! This is for the second chance, cowboy mafia loving readers!
Harper comes back to the ranch hoping to shut down any news that might incriminate and make the Steeling brothers and ranch look bad. That also means coming face to face with the man that she never stopped loving. Ace hasn’t stopped loving either. Problem is she’s engaged and there are bigger things at play. Can they work through it or will someone get hurt?
Ace is sooooo hot! He is completely charming, sexy, and never laid eyes on anyone else after Harper. Just a man who hopes one day he’ll get his happily ever after with the only one woman who ever has had his heart.
Harper had always made sure save and his family stayed safe and protected. Even if she had ignored Ace for years after their break up. I love that she put Ace above her own feelings.
This book is sooo spicy! I love their moments together. The facts that they can be safe with one another and trust each other in these moments. So many spicy scenes and it all fit their characters so well. I loved them all!
Oh man what happened towards the end of the book! It was so exciting to read. Seeing where the storyline went. I looooved this book so much. I’m dyyying already for book 3.
Luna Mason did not miss with this series. It is all the morally grey a girl loves.
