Andre ran from his past, but now it’s the only thing that can save his family.
When a sudden EMP plunges the country into chaos, Dre, a former gang member turned responsible family man, must cross through Chicago's most violent neighborhoods to reach his wife and autistic daughter sixty miles away.
But to get there, he must face down a warlord who knows all his darkest secrets—and become the warrior he once tried to forget.
Dark and exciting, but deeply human, CHICAGO FALL blends survival suspense with a powerful story of personal reckoning.
But your knowledge of the South Side seems limited. There are safer ways to travel between downtown and Indiana but you intentionally picked the worst. Enjoyed the characters but picking the worst of the worst detracted from it. There are many wonderful neighborhoods in Chicago yet the story was about the worst of humanity.
Disappointed. Character development was poor and story was confusing and not well thought out. Not believable at all. Didnt bother to finish it. Not up to the quality of the other stories in the October fall series
Such a great book really enjoyed it. I like how Jaz was brought into the storyline. Everyone is not perfect. Beverly was that person who opened up everyone’s eyes.
I have to say that I’ve read most of the October Fall series and this book is my favorite. Definitely a book you should read, can’t wait for the next one.
