This is a beautifully told story!!!! I absolutely loved Aaron McLean's writing style. His characters are beautifully chiseled and absolutely captured my heart! This is told in third person POV, something I'm not used to, but Aaron McLean navigated it masterfully and I enjoyed the story and getting to know Jaxon, Claire, Sara, even Macie, Carter, Trevor & Taylor & sweet little Jaq and taking a trip to the coastal Carolinas(side note: I'm from NC so I really loved this story!).
From their first meeting you can feel the chemistry between Claire & Jaxon light up! But, Aaron McLean adds in twists(oh what a twist it was!), turns, and heartaches(oh,the heartaches!), creating an emotionally raw, heartbreakingly beautiful journey that will leave you wondering when you'll get another story like this one! This story ends beautifully, but the journey to get there is wild, unexpected and intricately woven together!
The narrations were out of this world phenomenal. Joe Arden is a master storyteller and he nailed every single piece of this story in the best way, including Jax's Carolina accent. Along side him, we get the beautiful voices of Savannah Thomas and Andi Eloise, bringing us Claire & Sara. These three were magnificently casted to bring us this emotional journey and I loved every second of this audiobook!

This is a debut novel that gave me all the feels! You would think by the title this is just another summer romance, but it is so much more than that. I was invested from the start. The audio was done by Joe Arden, Savanah Thomas and Andi Eloise. Their narrations were spot on and have the story that much of a punch! I will be reading more from this author! 🩵🌟🌞

I knew before I even got to chapter 5 that I would love this book and right then I recommended it to 5 people that I know read no matter if I think that they would love it or not. This book had me choking all through it and I finally let tears fall about 3/4th the way through. This is an amazing story and I would recommend it to anyone that loves to read a good love story.
