This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the second book in the The Maddox Bravo Team series. I found this book to be slow moving and in some ways to be a little too cheesy. I also wanted more action throughout this book. I did enjoy getting to know the characters in this book. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Riggs and Vanessa are a breath of fresh air in that they quietly speak of their mutual attraction and enjoyment they find in each other’s company, pretty much from the start. They try to keep things professional, but the draw is too strong. Although I consider’Riggs’ mostly-cozy, there is plenty of drama, suspense, banter, SPICE, and a happily ever after that warms even the coldest of hearts.

Vanessa is a social media influencer who needs a bodyguard after finding out she has a stalker. Riggs is assigned to protect Vanessa, and things take some interesting turns between them. This is an action packed story filled with danger, suspense, intrigue, unexpected twists, humor, steam, and so much more. This was a great read with a story that held my attention from the first page until the last. Riggs is book two in The Maddox BRAVO Team series, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

a good read as always, Logan really knows how to write a procedural type story with the technical chit chat. as a non-techy person I get lost a little bit but I expect that and this helps me learn that, I love learning new things. What I loved most about this book is the way Chance balances high-stakes danger with real, raw chemistry. This is book 2 in the BRAVO Team series and I have not read book one, Sawyer. I don't think I missed anything, other than knowing Sawyer and Camillie's story, who pop up here.

Riggs is assigned to keep Vanessa safe. He's the problem solver for BRAVO and she's an influencer. But somewhere along the line, her comments have turned deadly and she asks for Riggs to keep her safe. Lines blur, and then it all comes to a head.

This is another spin off from Maddox Security and Dean pops but none of the others, I didn't think. You don't need to have read those books to follow these. I have and I enjoyed them.

I enjoyed this too! I did find it HEAVY on the attention to close protection, sometimes repeating the same thing, and while I got that it was Riggs' thing, it did get a little annoying.

Riggs and Vanessa have met before and I wanted that meeting! I don't get it, and I think it would have made this a better read, to be honest.

One point: safe smex, Riggs, safe smex! :-)

I'm liking these books by Chance, these military turned security guys. They all follow a same kinda plot line and that makes them easy reads, that don't require much brain power to follow complicated plot lines or twists and turns all over the place. And trust me, that's a GOOD THING!!

The next one in Logan Chance Bravos series in a way continues with the next Security Agent Andy "Riggs" and the influencer that is driving him crazy Vanessa Mercado. Seeing Andy fighting with his feelings and trying to keep Vanessa safe was in a way hillarious.These two are like oil and water, one minute they fight and the next it's like dynamite exploding in a way they never see coming. I loved seeing Vanessa maintain her career and still trying to be unafraid and confident even though inside she is secretly scared. Now Riggs in a way balances her to the point where he shows her she can just be herself and not well a celebrity showing her life to the others. All in all this was one rollercoaster up and down showing Riggs at his best and really showing how strong Vanness can be. This is one series full of action, suspense and tons of action can't wait to see who is next.

This story centers around Andy Riggs and Vanessa Mercado.
Riggs is former military who nowadays works security for a company made up of other former military members.
Vanessa is an influencer who now appears to have a stalker and thus needs help to keep her safe.
Needless to say, this type of job is not what Riggs really wants but duty rules. As the threat to Vanessa increases, the dynamics and attraction between these two characters, intensifies.
But first, the stalker must be discovered and stopped. Especially since it appears to be an inside job. Making up a “fake” relationship might be the answer to the discovery.
This was this reader’s first time reading a book by this author, thus not knowing what to expect. It was well written, and with enough action, suspense and romance to make it entertaining and engaging.

Book two in the Maddox Bravo series focuses on Riggs, a member of BRAVO Security assigned to protect Vanessa, a viral social media influencer. Vanessa spends much of her life online for her fans and is preparing to head out on tour—until a stalker changes everything. Riggs is tasked with keeping her safe, which means following her on tour. He comes across as a very strict bodyguard, something Vanessa’s team doesn’t always appreciate.

As the tour goes on, Riggs’s protection requires him and Vanessa to share a bed and even pretend to be in a fake relationship to throw the stalker off. But does Riggs cross a line he’s never been tempted to before? I really enjoyed their character interactions and how Vanessa grew from the experience. Even though Riggs was stern about protection, Vanessa and her team eventually came to understand why.

I didn’t see the stalker reveal coming—especially with the inside help twist. Everything wrapped up safely and tied together in a big shiny bow. This is such a great series, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

We met Vanessa in the first book of this series, Sawyer was assigned to guard her, and she was a friend of Camille. The interaction between Riggs/Beard Mountain was off the charts in the first book and they don't disappoint when Vanessa finds herself being threatened and asks that Riggs come protect her. There are some wonderful tender romantic moments as they transition from a protected/protector relationship into something special. However, in-between those moments are some heavy doses of suspense, danger, intrigue, surprise accomplices, humor and so much more. The last few pages give us a clue as to who the next book will be about which is Jackson and Maya who is the sister of his best friend, Seth and her son. I Can't wait!.

Riggs and Vanessa

Riggs is part of BRAVO team working for Dean Maddox. His next assignment, an influencer who has been receiving threats. Vanessa. Riggs and Vanessa have an instant attraction but want to keep things professional. But when a fan asks about the man next to her, she blurts it’s her boyfriend. That being a good way to explain Riggs being present, they go with it.

A do enjoy a fast paced, who did it, romance. That being said, these are quite predictable. Also, every so often..why can’t the female get away or the plan be stopped? I get it, drama, but..these men are suppose to be the best of the best, yet the simplest things trick them? Just saying. Anyways, these books are still good and worth reading. They are entertaining and steamy..just predictable.

Another great read as part of the Maddox Bravo Security series.
Riggs and Vanessa had instant chemistry as a result of having met previously and the attraction was already there.
I loved the banter between Riggs and Vanessa. It made there attraction sizzle.
This one had plenty of action, suspense and romance. The hunt for the stalker was both entertaining and engaging and trying to figure out who the mole was kept me guessing.
Well written and great characters, and I love catching up with other characters from the series during the story.
The only thing I wasn't a fan of was her nickname for Riggs... Beard Mountain. To me is sounded childish. But I'll take this one on the chin because everything else was great, and its possibly only a problem for me.
Definitely a must read.

The Maddox BRAVO Team are one helluva group of individuals. I didn't know how this author was going to top Sawyer's story but he did. Riggs and Vanessa have this chemistry that is so natural you can't help the urge but to continue reading and turn the rest of the world off for a bit. I liked how this story was more focused on these two individuals, yes the team was present when needed but it was a different "team effort" than book one. I feel that this worked out really well in this book. We were told a story of romance mixed with drama and a bit of and suspense. A standalone in a series that you cannot get enough of. I can only imagine with we have in store for us for the third book to be released, Jaxson's story.

This is Riggs and Vanessa's story. Riggs is assigned to be a bodyguard for social media influencer Vanessa after it is determined that she has a stalker. Having met briefly in the past, they already know of each other due to mutual friends. Kicking off a promotional tour, Vanessa is going to be in the spotlight even more and need the protection that Riggs can offer. However, the more time they spend together, and when the protection duty turns to fake boyfriend duty, sparks start to fly a little more and more as time goes on. Twists and turns happen, and trying to figure out who is stalking Vanessa and why keeps your attention. This was a great read and hard to put down before knowing what happens next!

Riggs and Vanessa’s romance is so main stream right now because of the society we live in. Influencers live a different life and some times call on the extra help to be safe they just don’t normally think they find their forever love. Riggs is the grumpy security guy that wants to do his job but also fall in love with her on their own time. Riggs will go to the end of the earth to keep her safe and deep down Vanessa knows that he is meant to be in her life. If you read the first book in the series I had a different vibe for her but after reading book two Vanessa’s energy is down to earth and wants to bring her travels to life for anyone to see. I was a fan of getting to see this group of individuals and found family come together in the end and book three is going to be a phenomenal.

Vanessa is an influencer who is being stalked, the person is becoming more threatening. Maddox Bravo team are called in, Riggs is in charge. He met Vanessa a bit ago and thought she was the most beautiful woman ever!
He hopes that he can keep his feelings separate from his work guarding her.
She's not going to stop working so there's lots of places the stalker could reach her, but Riggs teaches her a few things which should help.
Vanessa's feelings change towards Riggs, especially when it's better, media wise, to pretend he's her boyfriend.

This fast paced, intriguing and sexy bodyguard suspense romance is a 5 star must read. I love these characters and their rapport. Vanessa and Riggs have immediate chemistry that blurs the line between professional and personal. They share moments of intimacy and passion that never interfere with writing their own narrative. A narrative that is being threatened by an unknown who seems to be everywhere Vanessa is trying to call the shots.

This book is well written with sharp dialogue, an abundance of detail and the certainty that a happy ending is the only ending that is acceptable.

I absolutely and completely love this story!! When we first meet Riggs and Vanessa in Sawyers book, I knew they were gonna have an epic story. It exceeded all expectations!!

Riggs is incredible as well as super sexy and protective. Vanessa is beautiful, famous and fierce. Together they’re a force and a super amazing couple.
I love them together!!

This one had me captivated and on the edge the whole time , but I wasn’t worried because Riggs and the amazing Bravo team had it covered.

Logan Chance has written an awesome series with the coolest characters! But Riggs and Vanessa are going to be hard to top. ❤️

Riggs and Vanessa's story was fantastic! We met them in Sawyer and Camille's book, and it's now Vanessa who's troubled, with a stalker leaving notes with veiled threats. Vanessa's "Beard Mountain" (didn't love the nickname, but it was okay) was requested to help protect and eliminate the threat. I loved the suspenseful pace of their story, Riggs with his no-nonsense dialogue, and Vanessa with her sensible, honest personality, despite being a social maven. Their attraction kept building up, until the fiery explosions went off! Great book 2 in this series! And looking forward to Jaxson's book next!

Riggs is a quick fast paced security romance in the Maddox Bravo team! This is Riggs and Vanessa’s story and I love how we got a glimpse of them in Sawyer’s story. Their story is about a secret admirer that is threatening Vanessa. Riggs is assigned to protect her and make sure her visits run smoothly. I love their flirty banter and how they use the cover as a couple to open their true feeling. I love their chemistry and the way they accepted each other, also the possessiveness of Riggs when something unexpected happens to Vanessa. I really enjoyed their story and can’t wait to read more.

Riggs and Vanessa who met in the last take you on a read that will slowly melt your heart, the pages, and gives you a intense read you won't want to miss.
Vanessa a infulencer, in need of security calls upon BROAVO team and asks for Riggs. As the story ufolds you get pulled into their book and let me say this a emotional, acrion, a slow burn that heats up to spicy. A stalker, and more. Each page is a new adventure that will leave you breathless. This road has the right amount of everything you would want from a book. Even the humor, wedges, and more. Another amazing read from this author and I can't wait to read what he has next.

Riggs is the 2nd book in the Maddox BRAVO Team series which is part of the spinoff series from Men of Maddox Security.
Andy "Riggs" is assigned to protect Vanessa Mercado an influencer who has a stalker. We first met the two in Sawyer's book and could feel their undeniable attraction. There's a lot of teasing, back and forth banter between them even with the unknown threat lurking around every corner. While I enjoyed the book I would of liked a little more action to go with all the googly eyes going on between them. Overall it was worth the read.

Riggs is the second book in The Maddox BRAVO Team series. Vanessa Mercado is a social media star who has a stalker. Andy Riggs is part of the Maddox BRAVO team and is assigned to protect Vanessa. He is all business and following rules and protocols. She is living openly online and interacting with her fans and followers. She is going on a tour where she will be living online and doing what her sponsors want. But things are never what they seem which is what both of them discover quickly. Andy is determined to keep Vanessa safe and she decides to take her own safety seriously, especially when her sexy as sin bodyguard makes her sizzle.
