This thriller novella had me on the edge of my seat. A true page-turner. The twists had me second-guessing everything, and I just know the FMC was thinking, “Now why am I in it?” She should have been taking things a lil more serious! Lol!

The story packed so much intensity. It moved fast, kept me hooked, and left me with that unsettled feeling that lingers after a good thriller.

I was honored to read this ARC, and I’ve already secured my digital copy. This one proves that sometimes, you really never know!

👏🏽 This was a damn good short story. It had all the makings of a good thriller. It was a little creepy, suspenseful and had me anticipating what would happen next. I love a good revenge plot and this did not disappoint! I found myself yelling at the FMC because girl, why are you not taking this seriously enough 😭

Everything you do affects others and it may be someone’s last straw before they lose their goddamn mind 😂

Thank you @rayna.swan for this ARC, I absolutely enjoyed this! “Where is yo scooter??” 🤭😭

This will be avail on KU Oct 4 so GO GET IT — can also pre order TODAY ‼️

This was a great, short, and intense thriller. It kept me wanting to know more and turning the page to see what was going to happen next. There was a great balance of what was happening in front of us and the intensity of what was happening in the background.
I felt like I was there witnessing everything with the characters because the scenes were set so visually. The besties were too cute and they brought some humor to an intense situation.
I could easily see this story on television and I wouldn't mind more to this story.
The end? Yes ma'am!

This was such a fun quick read. It read like a movie and had everything I love in a thriller. This was my first time reading this author, and I’m already looking forward to more of her work. She did such a great job with the twist. If you’re in the mood for a fast-paced story under 100 pages, this one’s it.

Loved this it was a short read but each page I was invested and flew through this fast pace heart thumper. Once everything came full circle I was invested then boom the end! I want more for sure!! Sometimes when something just don't feel right it might not be, and don't let the past catch up to you. Good Job Rayna can't wait to read more.

Edge of my seat!

I was riveted by this fast paced story! The details were so vivid that I could imagine every scene as though I were right there with the characters. In just a few chapters the author has created a modern day heroine with all the qualities of superheroes - integrity, morals, laser focus, strength and fighting skills, empathy and we’re given a glimpse into what might prove to be her Achilles heel- and a certified old school villain with a one track revenge focused mind and the apparent ability to continuously evade capture. The author has left me not just wanting, but needing, to know what happens next. Brava, Ms. Swan!

Not Every Win is a Win

Aiyana mother is a lawyer for the guilty. As long as the money is coming in Monica sees nothing wrong with defending the guilty. Her daughter doesn’t feel the same and when weird things start happening around her, she gets a feeling it has to do with her mother’s job.

Being from the Bay Area, I love that this story took place in Oakland. Rayna did a great job of telling a full captivating story in 50 pages. Loved it!
