A wedding bouquet. A royal mix-up. A very confusing marriage.
All I was supposed to do was drop off the flowers. I work for my aunt’s florist shop, I had the address, and yeah—the manor looked a little weird, but I figured rich people were just into moss and weird lighting.
Next thing I know, I’ve been dragged inside, handed a crown, and kissed by a very intense, very attractive man who introduces himself as Crown Prince Sylvaris of the Summer Court… and my soon-to-be husband.
Apparently, I just delivered myself to the wrong dimension.
According to Sylvaris—who’s gorgeous, arrogant, and keeps calling me “darling flower” like he means it—I’ve fulfilled some ancient prophecy, or law, or whatever. Basically, I brought the wedding bouquet and am the wedding bouquet.
Now I’m stuck in a palace full of sharp smiles and glittering thorns, where everyone wants to either seduce me, curse me, or throw me into a magic lake. Sylvaris insists he’ll protect me—but only if I go through with the ceremony.
I’m trying to figure out how to escape.
He’s trying to convince me that marriage to a fae prince comes with some very… satisfying perks.
And the longer I stay, the more I wonder if falling into the wrong world might have been the right kind of accident.
Callie is a romance author who believes every love story deserves a happy ending — and a little heat along the way. Known for her lighthearted, swoony, and steamy novels, she delights in creating characters who make readers laugh, blush, and believe in love. When she’s not writing, Callie can be found hunting for the perfect vintage teacup, baking wildly over-decorated cupcakes, and choreographing impromptu kitchen dance parties to 80s pop hits. She lives with an ever-growing collection of romance paperbacks, a mischievous cat named Biscuit, and a firm conviction that love — like sprinkles — makes everything better.
Call me completely fucking surprised, y'all. The story was actually cute as can be! We've got a slightly bumbling but green thumbed young man who stumbles into the fae realm after a flower delivery drops him into a prophecy with him at the center.
VERY fast paced but the relationship had it all. The plot was fun and engaging as well. I liked the trials especially. Such a fun thing in fantasy books!
The spice was good. A few details but nothing extra extra spicy.
There was a moment where I thought the aunt called Jamie her niece...but he's a dude, right?? I mean, the cover photo? Maybe I misheard it.
🎧: Ok, virtual voice can't really depict emotions so some parts sounded weird, but overall it wasn't absolutely terrible. If the virtual voice had been male, this would've been so much better. Having a female speak for a male character pulled me from the story too much. Is there not male virtual voices?? Because honestly, the virtual voice isn't that bad. 🫣
And yea, virtual voice sucks but not all authors can afford narrators and this DOES give the option to listen to the story. I approached it as someone reading to me and it was tolerable.
After reading Exorcise Me, I saw the author had a fae series and decided to give it a whirlI unfortunately DNF even though it's so short. It was cute at first, but it was just too repetitive, even more so than Exorcise Me. I got bored which sucked, because the concept was sooo good. :(
When the mood strikes and you need a quick little fairy fantasy magical vibe, PLZ try this one out yall I just thought it was so sweet and I honestly loved reading it
