One summer, two gorgeous blondes, and a job I had no idea I could handle...
Twenty-year-old Nathan thought he was just taking a summer job to escape the fallout of his parents' divorce. Postponing college and low on cash, he signs on as the new maintenance assistant at Lakeside Retreat, a scenic, secluded resort tucked in the hills and run by two gorgeous sisters. Marilyn is thirty-two, blonde, busty, and cool as steel with piercing grey eyes and a voice that doesn’t tolerate excuses. She runs the horseback riding program and seems like she was born in boots. Carolyn, thirty and just as blonde, is her opposite in all the ways that count—friendly, flirty, and has a smile that’s impossible to resist. Where one commands respect, the other tempts surrender. Nathan doesn’t expect the chemistry. Or the glances. Or the way both sisters seem to get under his skin in very different ways. The job is hands-on and repairs, early mornings, and late-night fixes, but it’s nothing compared to the instant heat between him and the women who hired him. As the summer deepens, so does the heat, and soon Nathan finds himself caught in something far more complicated and far more exhilarating than he ever imagined. This summer, he might just find more than a paycheck. He might find where he truly belongs… between them.
Short and sweet, a little naughty and taboo, with a HEA. Young man meets two older women - sisters and business owners - and becomes their handsome fit handyman to the rescue. Simple and nice.
Very hot in a flirty way with two fascinating female. characters. The second half of the book is more explicit, and the epilogue is unnecessary. Still, I couldn’t put it down.
Yet another pleasant story from Kohen King. This is one of the three books in his Unconventional Sisters series and the second one I've read. While this series of books are male 'fever dreams', they are also light and fun.
This story again features a pair of beautiful sisters who live together. The FMC's are 30-somethings who run a lakeside resort in Texas. They needed an assistant handyman for the resort, so the FMC's ended up hiring the MMC, a hunky, but modest 20-year old college student seeking both a job and a place to stay for Summer break. The early days in his new job got off to an awkward start, but gradually he got the hang of things and impressed the FMC's. Nature took its course when the MMC and the younger sister hooked up first. The older sister later decides she wanted some of that action, too. Things took off from there...
The author delivers a smooth and quick read here. He's a good storyteller, too. And yes, there are some spice scenes in this book, but the scenes very tastefully written. And best of all, it has a HEA.
