Dark Eagle #8

Dark Eagle VIII: Shadow Walker

Rate this book
The shadows are gathering and across an empire built on blood and secrets, the Occultum face their darkest hour. Members have vanished, alliances crumble, and whispers in the dark speak of vengeance long denied.

As Rome’s reach tightens and hidden enemies move against them, loyalty is tested and faith begins to fracture. Each must decide whether they serve duty, honour, or survival itself — knowing that one misstep could doom them all.

Meanwhile, in the mist-shrouded wilds of Siluria, one of their own is drawn into a ritual long thought lost to time — a rite of blood and violence, the result of which could save or doom the Occultum.

What begins as a search for truth becomes a descent into something far older and more terrifying than any had imagined.

From K. M. Ashman comes Shadow Walker — the eighth book in the fantastic series that is taking the reading world by storm. A gripping tale of deception, courage, and the unseen forces that shape the fate of empire.

Kevin Ashman is the author of twenty-six novels including the best-selling Roman Chronicles and highly ranked Medieval Sagas.

Always pushing the boundaries he found further success with the India Sommers Mysteries as well as three other stand-alone projects, Vampire, Savage Eden and the dystopian horror story, The Last Citadel. These cross-genre books have now been added to by the two Sci-fi novels, The Legacy Protocol and The Seventh God.

Kevin was born and raised in Wales in the United Kingdom and now writes full time having been signed by a major publishing company. He is married with four grown children and enjoys cycling, swimming and watching rugby as his hobbies.

Recent works include the Blood of Kings trilogy and the follow-up books, Warrior Princess and The Blade Bearer.

The most recent project is a five-book series about the Templars during the 12th century. Templar Steel, Templar Stone, Templar Blood and Templar Fury are already on sale and Templar Glory is due for release in Oct 2021.

An exciting project is also underway, a three-book series chronicling the years leading up to and beyond the Battle of Hastings.

A thrilling tale

Probably my favorite book yet in this fantastic story of Rome's Seal Team Six. With no technology or sophisticated tools of espionage, the Occultum prevails against the Supernatural forces of Ancient Britannia. Bravo Mr. Ashman!
