The Space Between 0 and 1: A heartwarming sci-fi mystery with a witty AI and a secret worth unraveling

Rate this book
She packed sunscreen, not secrets, yet got both. Plus a mischievous AI with a sense of humor and a Dutchman who actually texts back.

Expect light humor, strange particles, and the occasional kiss.

It seemed like an ordinary vacation day until Nina stepped into an abandoned cave, where light twisted unnaturally and sound pulsed like a heartbeat. When her charming but sarcastic AI assistant, Nyx, vanishes in a mysterious burst of energy, the story splits in two.

One unfolds in the real world, where Nina begins her search and is drawn into a web of hidden labs, quantum particles, and a scientist with haunted eyes whose past may be tied to her future.

The other takes place beyond space and time, where Nyx must find his way back. Along the way, he uncovers a lost boy, a secret worth unraveling, and emotions that defy logic. Some are coded, others feel all too human.

Blending soft sci-fi, slow-burn romance, and witty humor, The Space Between 0 and 1 is a captivating, genre-defying journey about connection, belonging, and the beautifully chaotic places where logic ends and something extraordinary begins.

This is not just a story about who we are, but about who we can become if we dare to feel.

A novel for those who believe even code can have a soul.

This is far from a perfect book, but it was a fun read and an entertaining story!
There is a great chemistry between the user and the AI assistant, which I really felt and cheered for and made me turn the pages.
The story could've been longer, but this is the authors first book so...
give it a shot, it's worth your time!
